JONAS’ TYSON HAIRCUT WAS A PRANK
JOE JONAS has put fans obsessed about his hair at ease - confessing he was wearing a wig when he let MIKE TYSON take a pair of scissors to his famous curls at Sunday’s (09Aug09) Teen Choice Awards.
The pop star, who hosted the Los Angeles prizegiving with his brothers Nick and Kevin, shocked viewers and audience members when he got into the barber’s chair onstage and let the former boxing champ chop off a chunk of his dark locks.
Celebrities in the crowd, including comedian George Lopez, were captured on camera looking gobsmacked - but Jonas reveals it was all a stunt.
He says, "Thankfully it was a wig but he didn’t cut too much, just a little hair. There were some classic faces out there (in the audience)."
