The JACKSON brothers will mark what would have been their superstar sibling MICHAEL JACKSON’s 51st birthday with two tribute concerts, according to reports.
Singers Jermaine, Jackie, Tito and Marlon Jackson will reportedly celebrate the late King Of Pop, who died on 25 June (09), with a pair of special gigs, the first of which will be played on his birthday on 29 August (09) at London’s O2 Arena.
The venue is where the Thriller icon was due to perform his 50-date residency, This Is It, this summer (09).
A second show is expected the following day.
The Jackson 4 are said to preparing to kick off rehearsals in Los Angeles next month (Aug09) before they pack up for the British capital to perform the shows.
A source tells MSNBC.com the grieving brothers have been involved in �every part of the concerts� planning process�.
Bosses at AEG Live, the promotion firm behind Jackson’s ill-fated comeback concerts, were said to be considering staging a memorial show in London on the star’s birthday but have yet to officially confirm plans for a tribute.

Residents near MICHAEL JACKSON’s Neverland ranch are campaigning against rumoured plans to turn the star’s former home into a tourist attraction.
Neighbours in the rural Santa Ynez Valley area of Santa Barbara, California, have formed a group called Never! in an attempt to prevent the property from being turned into a noisy, crowded commercial venture.
The group insists the valley doesn�t have a sufficient road system, police force or infrastructure to accommodate the scores of fans that would be expected to visit if Neverland is turned into an attraction.
The property’s co-owner Thomas Barrack insists no official plans have been drawn up for the ranch, which the King of Pop deserted in 2005 following his child molestation trial - but Never! organisers want reassurance he won’t make a tourist park.
Never! spokesman Bob Field says, "We have received mixed messages, some reassuring, some troubling. We�d like clear, concrete signs that there are no plans to pursue turning this into a tourist attraction.� Michael Jackson died in his rented Holmby Hills home on 25 June (09) after suffering a cardiac arrest.

MICHAEL JACKSON’s brother JERMAINE is continuing his fight to have the superstar buried at his Neverland ranch - so he can rest in peace away from "bad people".
The King Of Pop’s older sibling has spoken publicly about his desire to lay his brother to rest in the grounds of Jackson’s former home in Santa Barbara, California - but he faces a battle with his family about the decision.
Michael’s parents Joe and Katherine are said to be considering burying the singer in Hollywood Hills’ Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Katherine has reportedly claimed her son never wanted to return to the sprawling estate, which Jackson deserted following his child molestation trial in 2005.
But Jermaine, 54, doesn’t want Michael to be buried at the public California cemetery, insisting the Thriller icon should be laid to rest somewhere "special".
He says, "Any problems you had when you went there (Neverland) would go away. That’s why I think it should be his final resting place. It’s so wonderful and what he was about. I think it’s a great possibility it will be his final resting place. We have to think about security - we can control (crowds) there. In a public cemetery we couldn’t.
"The options are Neverland or the main cemetery in L.A. I’m totally against the idea of a public cemetery. I just don’t like it. He’s done so much to make the world special - and he needs to be somewhere special.
"He should be somewhere where it’s safe and where he isn’t sharing the ground with other people who are not good human beings. At those places they bury people who have done bad things in their life. Why should he be in the company of these bad people? He should be by himself. His world is Neverland.
"My mother and father will make the final decision but I am just trying to do what I think is right."

The bassist was the guest of honour at Canada’s financial capital to ring the bell that begins the day’s trading.

BETH DITTO had to duck for cover after she was involved in a brawl at a U.K. music festival at the weekend (18-19Jul09).
The Gossip singer was performing at the Latitude festival in Suffolk, England, when she was provoked by a member of the audience and a shouting match ensued, according to Britain’s Daily Mirror.
The star was then forced to flee from the scene after the incensed reveller reportedly began flinging empty drink bottles in the dispute, prompting event officials to step in.

British socialite DAISY LOWE spiralled into a deep depression after facing a cervical cancer scare earlier this year (09).
The model, the daughter of singer Pearl Lowe and Bush rocker Gavin Rossdale, was told she would have to undergo an operation after doctors found pre-cancerous cells during a routine check-up in May (09).
The 20 year old was shocked by the news - and became so despondent she couldn’t stop crying.

Hollywood socialite CHRIS PACIELLO is facing a lawsuit over allegations he arranged the wrongful arrest of his former business partner SANDY SACHS.
The entrepreneur, real name Christian Ludwigsen, reportedly convinced a Los Angeles police officer to arrest Sachs - with whom he once co-owned Hollywood restaurant Murano - on fake drink-driving charges.
Sachs previously sued Paciello for failing to pay a $600,000 (£400,000) investment - sparking claims from her lawyer Gerson Horn that Paciello arranged the arrest as revenge.
In tape recordings made in April (09), Paciello is reportedly heard telling off-duty Sheriff Ralph Garay to arrest his former colleague because she was drunk at the wheel.
After initially deciding there was "no evidence that Sandy was drunk", cops then attended Sachs’ home at Paciello’s insistence, where she was arrested.
Horn alleges some officers "threw her to the ground, handcuffed and pummelled her. Her body was covered with bruises." No charges were brought at the time of the incident, and a blood test confirmed that Sachs was within the legal limit of alcohol for driving.
She accuses the LAPD of battery, wrongful arrest, and civil rights violations - bot the force and Paciello deny any wrongdoing.
Paciello, who once dated Madonna, walked free from jail in 2006 after serving seven years of a 10-year sentence for taking part in a bungled raid in Staten Island, New York in 1983 that left a woman dead.

VANESSA HUDGENS is suing her former manager after he allegedly broke the terms of a previous legal settlement.
The High School Musical star avoided a courtroom battle with Viera in May (09) by paying him off in a court-approved deal after he first filed a $5 million (£2.5 million) lawsuit against her.
Vierra first alleged Hudgens had failed to honour a contract entitling him to "share equally" in her potential success before she went on to find fame in the hit Disney film in 2006.
Now Hudgens has accused Vierra of breaching their agreement in a new lawsuit filed at Los Angeles’ County Superior Court.
The actress alleges her ex-employee altered his MySpace.com webpage to appear as though he still represents her.
Hudgens is seeking to reclaim the money she paid in the settlement, reports TMZ.com.

Troubled singer AMY WINEHOUSE has overcome her drug problems and is happier than ever - according to the star’s mum.
The Rehab hitmaker returned to her native Britain last week (13Jul09) after spending eight months on the Caribbean island of St Lucia in a bid to overcome her drug addictions.
Since her return to the U.K., the singer’s two-year union with husband Blake Fielder-Civil was ended at London’s High Court on Thursday (16Jul09) when a judge granted the couple a decree nisi - after she admitted to having an affair.
Her ex is reportedly demanding a $9 million (£6 million) divorce settlement, but despite her recent troubles, Winehouse’s mum Janis insists her daughter’s break from England has helped her get back on form and beat her drug demons.
She tells Britain’s Closer magazine, "A year ago, everyone was saying: ‘Will she get through this, will she even survive?’ And look at her now. We’ve got the old Amy back. I always knew she’d come through it. And I know she doesn’t want to go back to the drugs." But she acknowledges the star still has some way to go in order to stop her binge drinking as well, adding, "St Lucia was good in many ways because there were no hard drugs around, but she was bored, so she drank. She didn’t have many friends around her. But she’s sorting herself out and I’m sure she’ll stop drinking when she’s ready.
"I’ve spent some time with her since she got back. She’s put on a bit of weight and looks better than she has in a long time. She was busy cooking, so that’s a good sign that she’s actually eating. I think she’s pleased to be home and I know she’s happier now."

Plans for a documentary about {MICHAEL JACKSON]’s life are picking up pace - Sony Pictures bosses have bid an astonishing $50million (£33.3million) to secure footage of the late star’s final days.
The King of Pop’s promoters AEG Live have reportedly been in discussions with a number of Hollywood studios to make a feature-length video based on the weeks leading up to his death on 25 June (09).
It’s thought the company owns over 80 hours of Jackson footage, shot as he prepared for his 50-date sell-out This Is It concerts at London’s O2 Arena.
AEG heads are hoping to strike a deal in a bid to get back some of the $30 million (£20 million) they spent setting up the comeback shows.
Sony Pictures is expected to offer in excess of $50million (£33.3million) to win the rights to the tapes.
The film will feature at least three videos that were due to be shown during the London shows, including a 3-D version of Thriller.
High School Musical’s Kenny Ortega, who choreographed Jackson’s show, is reportedly being lined up to direct the documentary, which is hoped for release later this year (09).

RIHANNA has sparked rumours she’s dating hip-hop star PHARRELL WILLIAMS, after he was spotted leaving her London hotel several times during her stay in the British capital.

SIMON COWELL is adamant PAULA ABDUL will stay on the judging panel of hit U.S. show AMERICAN IDOL - he’s told bosses he wants her contract to be renewed.
The 47 year old’s future on the talent series was thrown into doubt this weekend (19Jul09) when her manager, David Sonenberg, told the Los Angeles Times that "it does not appear" that she will be returning in 2010’s Idol.
Discussions have come to a halt between Abdul and TV executives as she bids to return to her spot alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi.
New reports claim the reason behind Abdul’s delayed signing for the show is because she is demanding $20 million (£13.3million) - $10 million (£6.6 million) more than bosses are willing to offer her.
But music mogul Cowell has eased the minds of Abdul’s supporters, who have since launched an online campaign on Twitter.com to keep her on the show - insisting there’s no need to worry.
He says, "She’ll be fine. She’ll be on the show. I don’t get a lot of say. I’ve just made it clear that I want Paula on the show."
