AMY WINEHOUSE is set to become the latest celebrity to launch her own perfume range, according to reports.
The Rehab singer has recently returned to her native Britain following an extended stay on the Caribbean island of St Lucia in a bid to overcome her alcohol and drug addictions.
Now the star is hoping to land a deal worth more than $750,000 (£500,000) to launch the fragrance with her name on the label, under the guidance of her dad, Mitch.
A source tells British tabloid the Daily Star, "Mitch is keen to license Amy’s name to a perfume house. He has been in talks with manufacturers and contacted PR firms for advice. They want it to reflect her style with a classic smoky 1950s look and smell. Amy is keen to expand her brand and wants to latch on to the celeb perfumes bandwagon while she can."

MISCHA BARTON is on the road to recovery following her "medical issue" last week (15Jul09) - she is "making improvements" and plans to return to work.
The former The O.C. star was allegedly placed on involuntary psychiatric hold on Thursday (16Jul09), after suffering a meltdown and calling cops to her Los Angeles home the night before.
The star’s future in her upcoming TV show The Beautiful Life was thrown into jeopardy following the incident - executives at U.S. network The CW are reportedly making plans to continue production without her.
But the 23 year old’s spokesman, Craig Schneider, has spoken out saying she is "still seeking treatment but making improvements" and revealed she plans to report to work on the TV series later this month (Jul09).
The programme is scheduled to start filming on 31 July (09).

A dancer, who is thought to be MICHAEL JACKSON’s ‘fourth child’, sat in the front row next to the Jacksons during the star’s memorial service.
Omer Bhatti was allegedly born after the King of Pop had a one night stand in 1984, and he is now seeking a DNA test to verify whether Jackson is in fact his father.
The claims that the Norwegian 25 year old is the Thriller hitmaker’s son have been further fuelled after it emerged he was granted a special seat during the ceremony at Los Angeles’ Staples Center on 7 July (09).
Bhatti was seen in a video opening presents at Jackson’s Neverland estate when he was 14, and in 2003 he was photographed celebrating the star’s birthday with him.
Omer’s step dad, Riz, confirmed he sat in the front row alongside Jackson’s siblings, parents and ‘official’ children Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II aka ‘Blanket’, seven at the service.
Riz says, "I know because I was watching. I told my wife, ‘Just wait until the press see this. It’s not a small thing’." When asked whether Bhatti is Jackson’s offspring, Riz refused to deny it, saying, "Make what you like. I don’t want to discuss anything."

RUPERT EVERETT is reportedly convinced it’s best MICHAEL JACKSON died when he did - because the superstar would have struggled with his planned 50-date residency this summer (09).
The late King of Pop suffered a cardiac arrest last month (Jun09), just weeks before he was due to start This Is It, a series of comeback concerts at London’s O2 Arena.
But a British tabloid claims the Hollywood actor Everett believes the dates would have been too gruelling for the Thriller hitmaker - and even if he’d managed to impress fans with his stage show, the press would have finished him off anyway.
The star tells the U.K.’s Daily Mirror, "He was a freak. He looked like a character from Shrek. He was a black to white minstrel. He was crucified by that court case when he was accused of child molestation - that killed him.
"He personified the pain and anxiety of a black man in a slave country. We all watched as he changed form black to white. He was living performance art.
"I think it was fortuitous that he died. He was supposed to be doing 50 concerts in London. It wouldn’t have mattered how good or bad he was. He wouldn’t have managed to do all of them and the press would have destroyed him."

KIEFER SUTHERLAND has been cleared of headbutting a fashion designer after the case was dropped by officials.
The 24 star was accused of attacking stylist Jack McCollough for no reason in New York in May (09). McCollough was hospitalised with a broken nose after the alleged encounter.
Sutherland maintained he accosted the designer after he barged past actress pal Brooke Shields, who backed up the TV star’s story, calling the incident "unfortunate".
Sutherland was due to appear in court on Friday (17Jul09) to face the charges, but the trial date was pushed back until further notice.
Now the Manhattan District Attorney has scrapped the trial altogether because officials consider the accusations too small to be considered a level of criminal behaviour.

MEGAN FOX turned down the chance to play a Bond girl opposite DANIEL CRAIG in the next instalment of the 007 franchise, according to reports.
The Transformers beauty was reportedly lined up to star as James Bond’s conquest in the 23rd superspy film.
But the 23 year old refused the offer because she wanted to have a bigger part in the film than simply playing the secret agent’s love interest, according to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper.

British singer LEONA LEWIS once saved a rabbit from a homeless man who threatened to eat it for his dinner.
The Bleeding Love hitmaker was walking along a street in Los Angeles when she saw a man sitting with the white bunny on a leash.
According to British newspaper The Sun, Lewis was so concerned over the creature’s welfare, she asked the vagrant what he was going to do with the animal, to which he replied, "Don’t know - probably eat it." But Lewis, who is a strict vegetarian, was so shocked at the prospect she gave the man $100 (£67) and told him to spend it on food for himself.
A source tells The Sun the 24 year old has since adopted the rabbit and taken it to live in her Hollywood Hills home.
The insider adds, "Leona is the proud owner of a new white rabbit called Melrose which she is keeping in her garden. She was shopping on Melrose Avenue last week when she spotted it being kept on a lead by a homeless man. She didn’t think life on a lead was any way for a rabbit to live - then when he said he was going to eat it she knew she had to save it." The singer also has an adopted horse which she keeps in a stable in California.

HARRY POTTER star BONNIE WRIGHT wants to use her role in the wizard movies to launch a career in fashion.
The actress plays Ginny Weasley, Harry Potter’s love interest, in the latest instalment of the fantasy franchise.
She dazzled on the red carpet at screenings to promote the film, and admits she’d love to wear some of her own designs one day.
Wright tells Grazia magazine, "I see the red carpet as an opportunity to show people the real me. My character is perceived as the mousy younger sister and it�s nice to break away from that - but it took me such a long time to decide what to wear.

Actor SETH ROGEN has waged war on the creator of ENTOURAGE after his looks were mocked on the hit TV show.
In a recent episode of the U.S. series, the characters referred to Rogen’s "oddly fascinating" ugliness.
They also discussed whether the funnyman could ever win a date with a woman like actress Katherine Heigl, his love interest in Knocked Up.
Rogen was fuming after hearing the remarks, branding the programme’s creator Doug Ellin a "moron" and vowing never to watch the TV series.
He says, "Yeah, those guys are a**holes. I actually ran into (Entourage actor) Kevin Dillon in a Starbucks. And he�s like, �You know, I�ve got to kind of apologise because apparently the guy who created our show doesn�t like you so much.� "I said, �Well, I have reason to believe because I think (creator) Doug Ellin is a moron from all I can understand so it makes sense he doesn�t like me.� "I�ve kind of said some disparaging things about the show. Although, in our defence, (producer) Mark Wahlberg called us misogynistic in an interview, so I think they kind of started that (battle). It�s on. STEPHEN BALDWIN filed for bankruptcy on Tuesday (21Jul09), after landing in more than $2.3 million (£1.4 million) worth of debt, according to a U.S. report.
The Usual Suspects actor, who appeared on U.S. TV show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! earlier this year (09) filed for Chapter 11 protection claiming he is millions in debt - and he only owns a property worth $1.1million (£669,334).
Reports last month (Jun09) claimed the star’s New York house was going to be auctioned off after he was unable to keep up with the large mortgage payments.
Baldwin slammed the claims, insisting that he was simply "renegotiating" his mortgage and branded the media rumours a "smear deal" against his good name.
The star owes around $1.2 million (£730,194) on two mortgages on the property and more than $1 million (£608,495) in taxes, as well as mounting credit card debt, according to the legal documents that were filed in New York.
Baldwin’s lawyer has made no comment.

Actress JESSICA BIEL avoids overindulging in restaurants - by always sending half of her meal back.
The slim star stays in shape with a healthy diet and regular workout sessions - and Biel makes sure she doesn’t overdo her portion size when she eats out.
She says, "You have to find a balance, especially with what you eat. I don’t live by the idea that you can’t allow yourself a treat.

JANET JACKSON has dismissed reports she will appear as a surprise guest at tribute concerts to mark her late brother MICHAEL JACKSON’s birthday in August (09).
The star was reportedly lined up to open the gigs at London’s o2 Arena, where the King of Pop was due to play 50 dates this summer before his tragic death from a cardiac arrest last month (Jun09).
The Jackson brothers; Jermaine, Jackie, Tito and Marlon Jackson will celebrate the Thriller hitmaker with two special performances, the first of which will be played on Michael’s birthday on 29 August (09).
However a representative for Janet has brushed off suggestions the singer will also appear, insisting the concerts aren’t "about her".
A family friend tells MSNBC.com, "Janet has plenty going on as it is - she�s filming a movie (Why Did I Get Married Too) and she�s involved in Michael�s kids� lives. These concerts are not about her and she respects that. She�s always been independent.�

Los Angeles authorities are investigating the taxpayers money spent on MICHAEL JACKSON’s memorial service.
The 7 July (09) ceremony at the city’s Staples Center cost $1.4 million (£934,000), much of which was spent on the heavy security required to handle the thousands of fans who flocked to the city to pay their last respects to the King of Pop.
Council officials suspect some of that money may have been misappropriated and City Attorney Carmen Trutanich has asked for a probe.
According to the Associated Press, witnesses already interviewed have provided evidence which "raises both civil and criminal aspects".

RYAN REYNOLDS was shocked to discover he would have to disrobe for his role in THE PROPOSAL - because he was convinced his co-star and producer SANDRA BULLOCK would rewrite the script before filming began.
The pair bare all in one embarrassing scene when they fall over naked together and Reynolds was sure that his pal Bullock, an executive producer on the film, would rewrite the scenes to save their blushes.
But he was horrified to discover that the actress intended to keep the comedy sequence in.
Reynolds says, "I didn’t think we’d shoot it to be honest, because she’s never done a head-to-toe nude scene before. I just thought, ‘Oh, she’s just going along with it and once we actually get closer to it, she’ll say we need to rewrite this.’ "No way. She was 100 per cent in and game, and it was about two weeks before and we were having dinner one night after work and I said, ‘Seriously, are we doing the nude scene or what, are you really going to do this?’ And she said, ‘Absolutely!’"

The British Paper Planes hitmaker insists she procrastinated and struggled to concentrate when she had a clear schedule.
Since giving birth to baby son Ikhyd back in February (09), M.I.A. has had to juggle music with her role as a full-time mother - and she has flourished.
The singer tells Spinner.com, "In order to make music, I kind of have to feel some sort of hardship. I’ve always found it easier to create when you’re just sort of left on your own to deal with your own s**t and your own mess and your own whatever. And I think having a baby makes me a lot more focused in terms of time.
"Before, if I had a year to make music, then I know that I have to do it this time in a shorter space of time. And if I got to spend 24 hours in the studio last time and sleep in it and be in it and eat in it and whatever, now I know that that’s not possible because I have to have my baby down there."

Actor EDDIE CIBRIAN has split from his wife BRANDI GLANVILLE, amid rumours he has been cheating on her with singer LEANN RIMES.

Rapper YUNG BERG has been accused of assaulting a woman at a party at his California home last week (15Jul09) and leaving her with a black eye.
Chelsea Berry claims she was enjoying a night at the hip-hop star’s house in Woodland Hills, California last wednesday (15Jul09) along with two of her friends, three of his pals, someone from his label and another woman.
She alleges the singer - real name Christian Ward - threw her in a swimming pool and later hit her several times, giving her a black eye after he disappeared into a room with another woman and she became jealous.
She tells AllHipHop.com, "He striked (sic) me with the palm of his hand, like about three times. On my head, on my eye, and I was falling back like, �What did I do? What did I do? And that�s when he told me to leave. Then (his friend) Sincere was like, �Calm down, I�ll give her a ride.�� Berry alleges Ward then drove her a short distance before ordering her out of the car and smashing her phone to stop her from calling any friends.
She adds, "(We) end up driving all the way up this hill in the middle of nowhere, I had no idea where I was at, and he tells me to get out. I was crying and saying �I�m gonna get you back. I�m about to call my friends when I get out.� And that�s when Berg gets out and comes over to me and says he�s sorry, and then he grabs my phone and throws it and my phone (was) completely shattered.� A police report was reportedly filed on Thursday (16Jul09), but Berg has yet to be charged with any crimes.
