British actor JUDE LAW is facing allegations he attacked a female photographer outside a London club in the early hours of Thursday morning (23Jul09).
The Alfie star was enjoying a night out at exclusive hotspot Automat when he allegedly clashed with the unnamed woman, who was taking pictures of him leaving the venue.
The 28-year-old snapper alleges Law hit her on the head and slapped her in the face in an unprovoked attack, which was caught on camera by other members of the paparazzi.
The photographer tells British newspaper the Evening Standard, "He hit me full on the face, it was a real stinger, it was very sore.� It is not known whether the snapper has reported the incident to the police.
Law has previously landed in trouble over scuffles with the paparazzi - in 2007 he was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm after he attempted to grab a photographer’s camera. The actor escaped without charge.

LILY ALLEN is back on the dating scene - the British pop star has a new man in her life, according to reports.
Allen has been single since splitting from art dealer Jay Jopling at the beginning of the year (09) and has previously dated Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons and record executive Seb Chew.
But now the Smile singer has found love again - she is romancing painter/decorator Sam Cooper, according to British tabloid The Sun.
The 24 year old was snapped enjoying dinner with Cooper in London on Tuesday night (21Jul09).
A source tells the publication, "Lily is tired of only ever being involved with well-known blokes. She wanted to go out with someone her own age who isn’t involved in music or the media. Sam is a really down to earth. He grafts (works) hard for a living as a painter and decorator and leads a totally normal life. Lily is completely smitten with him. They have known each other a while but have only just started dating properly."

SIENNA MILLER made a splash at the U.K. launch party of her new movie G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA - she was left soaked after speeding down London’s River Thames on a boat.
The actress had planned to make a grand entrance as she arrived at the promotional event on Wednesday (22Jul09) onboard warship HMS Belfast on the docks of the British capital’s river.
But the unpredictable British weather dampened the affect of the glamorous stunt - and the Thames’ choppy waters left the star all wet.
And, to add insult to injury, the boat ferrying her to the launch had to make two attempts to dock.
Miller praised the extra layers she had added under her white shirt for saving her from any further embarrassment.
She told reporters, "Thank God I’ve got a skin-coloured something underneath, otherwise I would be horribly regretting the white shirt… I’m soaking wet."

Employees at the Los Angeles County coroner’s office have been reprimanded after improperly viewing MICHAEL JACKSON’s death certificate.
At least six staff members not involved in investigating Jackson’s death accessed the document before it became a public record, with some even printing copies, according to coroner official Craig Harvey.
The offending employees didn’t break any laws by accessing the computer system but were warned that future violations of internal rules could result in disciplinary action.
Harvey explains, "There’s only one person in the investigation of Mr. Jackson who needed to have a copy of the death certificate, and that was the investigator." Jackson died on 25 June (09) after suffering a cardiac arrest.
The L.A. coroner’s office initially expected the results of the King of Pop’s autopsy would be released last week (ends19Jul09) but officials have confirmed it could take up to two more weeks for the report to be completed.

MICHAEL JACKSON’s mother KATHERINE has called for cops to question a second doctor in the ongoing investigation into her superstar son’s tragic death.
Jackson’s personal physician, Dr Conrad Murray, is currently under investigation in connection with the tragedy, and Katherine is pressing for the probe to be widened to include a second, unidentified medic.
The singer’s former plastic surgeon, Dr Steven Hoefflin, tells British newspaper The Sun, "It is Katherine’s wish that any doctors who harmed Michael be brought to justice. In my understanding of this case, from being present when police talk to the family, there are two who, if found guilty of the acts suspected of them, could go to jail." Hoefflin also insists several other doctors could be quizzed by cops, adding: "A further eight could stand to lose their medical licences if found to have prescribed drugs inappropriately." Dr Murray was with Jackson when he went into cardiac arrest at his rented home in Los Angeles on 25 June (09) and performed CPR on the star before emergency crews arrived.
His offices in Houston, Texas were raided on Wednesday (22Jul09) by Drug Enforcement Administration agents, and a computer hard drive and various documents relating to Jackson were seized.

NAOMI CAMPBELL’s new Bollywood movie has opened to dreadful reviews in India - and now Hindus have taken aim at the film.
Campbell�s first Bollywood venture Karma, Confessions and Holi has bombed badly at the box office, with local critics calling the film an "undignified disaster� and an "unholy mess�.
And now religious leaders are letting their feelings be known about the movie, which was directed by Manish Gupta and co-produced by Robert De Niro�s daughter Drena.
Rajan Zed, the president of Universal Society of Hinduism, tells WENN, "Hindus have strongly objected to the usage of Hindu terminology in movies and Karma, Confessions and Holi has nothing much to do with karma or Holi.
"Hindus welcome world filmmakers making films about Hindu subjects but taking Hinduism seriously and respectfully and not reimagining its concepts and symbols just for mercantile greed. Holi and karma have definite meaning for devotees, and improper usage of such terms is not OK."

Action star-turned-California governor ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER has defended his decision to announce a $15 billion (£10 billion) cut in the state’s services while brandishing a hunting knife in a light-hearted video.
Schwarzenegger posted a video on his Twitter.com page earlier this week (begs20Jul09) in which he addressed California citizens about impending budget cuts which will affect education and health care spending.
The star was heavily criticised for the footage, as he was gripping a huge blade while taking about cuts in public spending.
But Schwarzenegger has laughed off reporters’ suggestions the video was insensitive, urging his critics to "have a little bit of a sense of humour".
He explains, "You know, you sent a governor to Sacramento - not El Stiffo, like some of the past were, but you sent someone that is a little bit more entertaining and has a little bit more fun with the whole thing.
"Not that I have fun with making the cuts; they sadden me. But fun with the job itself, because I think it is the most rewarding job that I’ve ever done, even though with a huge responsibility. So just relax and have a little bit of a sense of humour."

MADONNA broke down in tears as she met the mother of a construction worker who was crushed to death after the superstar’s stage collapsed in France last week (16Jul09).
Charles Criscenzo, 52, and Charles Prow, 23, died after a crane pulling the singer’s Sticky & Sweet set into place at Marseille’s Stade Velodrome toppled over. Eight other crew members were also hospitalised following the horrific accident.
Madonna jetted to Marseille-Marignane airport on Sunday afternoon (19Jul09) to meet with Frenchman Criscenzo’s bereaved family in the nearby Aix-en-Provence.
She also arranged to meet the tragic British technician’s mother, Faith Prow, at a nearby hotel shortly after, and was overcome with grief as she discussed the incident.
Prow’s father, Chris, says, "Madonna just said to Faith, ‘I’m sorry for your loss.’ She gave her flowers and a spiritual health book.
"Madonna said how much she had been affected by the accident, and got very emotional." The devastated dad insists his family has no hard feeling towards the Material Girl, adding, "She wasn’t even there."

The I Kissed A Girl hitmaker insists on her jump rope test - because she is scared she might accidentally bare her breasts in the middle of one of her trademark energetic dance routines.
Perry, who has nicknamed her breasts The Twins, has blogged about her pre-show precautions on her Twitter.com page, stating, "Usually I test out an outfit b4 (sic) shows by jumpin� rope, make sure The Twins r (sic) gonna stay in the holder." YUNG BERG’s lawyer has slammed accusations the rapper assaulted a woman at a party at his California home, dismissing the allegations as a "pathetic attempt for publicity".
Party reveller Chelsea Berry claims she was enjoying a night at the hip-hop star’s house in Woodland Hills, California last week (15Jul09) along with select members of the musician’s entourage.
She alleges the singer - real name Christian Ward - threw her in a swimming pool and later hit her several times, giving her a black eye.
Berry adds that Ward then drove her away from the property and smashed her cell phone so she was unable to call her friends.
But the rapper’s lawyer, Jeremy M. Rosen, has hit out at Berry’s claims - vehemently denying the rapper would be involved in such an altercation.
Rosen tells Allhiphop.com, "The allegations are entirely false and without merit. Yung Berg would never conduct himself in such a manner. This is clearly a pathetic attempt for publicity.
"Let’s focus on reality, namely, Yung Berg as the multi-platinum, ASCAP Award-winning artist, songwriter and producer." No arrests have been made in connection to the alleged assault.

Former GREY’S ANATOMY star T.R. KNIGHT has slammed his ex-bosses for slowly cutting him out of the series by reducing his screen time.
The actor finally left the medical drama at the end of the latest series following months of speculation about his future on the show.
Knight claims he was forced out of the series following a "breakdown in communication" with series creator Shonda Rhimes, insisting TV bosses gradually reduced his role until he felt he had no choice but to quit.
Knight admits he was happy to walk away from his $14 million (£9.3 million) contract three years early, in order to find a job which is more "fulfilling." He tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "There just comes a time when it�s so clear that moving on is the best decision. It didn�t seem like an ebb to me. No other series regular�s character had ever disappeared like mine did this past season.
"There are a lot of people who would like to be in my position. But, in the end, I need to be fulfilled in my work - thatâ��s more important than the money.â�� Knight’s first post-Grey’s Anatomy roles will be theatrical - he has shows lined up in Los Angeles and New York.

THE SPIRIT star PAZ VEGA is now a mother of two - she welcomed a baby daughter last week (17Jul09).
The 33-year-old actress and her husband Orson Salazar are thrilled with the new addition to their brood after little Ava was born in Madrid, Spain.
A representative for the star says, "Paz and Ava are both healthy and enjoying being at home." And the tot, who weighed in at 7lbs, 2oz (3.2kgs), is already proving to have a healthy appetite.
The spokesperson adds, "The baby has come big (sic) and with lots of interest in eating!" The couple already have a son, two year old Orson.

JOELY RICHARDSON is throwing herself back into work following the tragic death of her sister NATASHA earlier this year (09) - she has landed a high profile role in period drama THE TUDORS.
The former Nip/Tuck star was left devastated when her sibling passed away in March (09) following a skiing accident.
She recently completed work on TV movie The Day Of The Triffids and is continuing her busy schedule with an appearance in the hit historical TV show opposite Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who portrays King Henry VIII.
Richardson will join the programme as Henry’s sixth and last wife Catherine Parr, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The British actress will appear in five episodes of the upcoming fourth season, which is due to air in American in 2010.

MICHAEL JACKSON’s rumoured ‘fourth child’ OMER BHATTI will be welcomed into the Jackson family if he is in fact the star’s son, according to the singer’s brother JERMAINE.
The dancer is said to have requested a DNA test to find out whether he is the biological child of the late King of Pop, who died in June (09) after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Jackson’s paternity was called into question after the 25 year old sat in the front row at the singer’s memorial service in July (09), amid reports the singer fathered Bhatti after a one night stand in 1984.
The Thriller hitmaker’s 54-year-old sibling Jermaine insists his relatives will look after Bhatti and welcome him into their family, alongside Jackson’s other children Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II aka ‘Blanket’, seven, if the DNA tests come out positive.
He says, "If Omer’s his son, he’s his son. We won’t deny it. We are going to give him the same amount of love and care that we give Prince and Paris and Blanket. I can’t clearly say if he is Michael’s but I saw this kid around him." Reports from the U.S. allege Bhatti’s mother, Pia, is also the mother of Jackson’s youngest son, Blanket.
Jackson never disclosed the identity of the seven-year-old’s true mother, revealing only that he was born to an anonymous surrogate.
Star magazine claims his mum is 45-year-old Pia Bhatti, who allegedly agreed to donate her eggs to the superstar.

RIHANNA has no plans to take revenge on her violent ex-boyfriend CHRIS BROWN by penning a song about the KISS KISS hitmaker.
The Umbrella singer split from Brown earlier this year (09) after he assaulted her during a bust-up in Los Angeles in February (09), leaving her battered and bruised.
Brown was handed a community service order and five years’ supervised probation after pleading guilty to the attack last month (22Jun09).
But Rihanna isn’t planning to draw on the experience for lyrics to her new songs, according to her collaborator Ne-Yo.
He tells MTV, "I’ve done some stuff for Rihanna’s (project). I didn’t really want to go there too much, because I know that’s what everybody is expecting. I don’t think there isn’t a person alive that doesn’t know what happened and what it was. I don’t feel like it needs to be glorified. I don’t think that needs to be a song that’s sung or written.
"Chris Brown is a friend of mine, and I don’t view him as a bad guy for what happened. It was an absolute mistake, and he has some lessons to learn and some maturing to do. RIHANNA and JAY-Z racked up an astonishing $12,000 (£8,000) bar tab partying together on a recent night out in London.
The Umbrella hitmaker enjoyed an evening in the VIP section at the British capital’s Vendome venue with the hip-hop star, minus his wife Beyonce.
The pair both flew into the city on Tuesday (21Jul09) and headed straight to the venue, where they cordoned off an area and ordered so many bottles of alcohol they were they were faced with a very hefty bill at the end of the night.

They ordered several bottles of vodka, tequila and red wine and were clearly enjoying themselves. They sat next to each other and chatted away like old pals. British singer CHERYL COLE has reportedly turned down a $6 million (£4 million) offer to replace PAULA ABDUL as a judge on AMERICAN IDOL.
The Girls Aloud star became a TV favourite in her native Britain after taking over from rock matriarch Sharon Osbourne on U.K. talent contest The X Factor last year (08).
Reports suggest music mogul Simon Cowell has now offered the 26 year old a stint alongside him on the U.S. version of the show.
But Cole, who is currently in Los Angeles, has decided against the move because she wants to stay in Britain with her soccer star husband, Ashley Cole.
A friend of the singer tells Britain’s Daily Express, "Cheryl hasn’t had any TV meetings since she’s been over there. It would mean she would have to leave Britain. She wouldn’t leave Ashley behind. She’s there to work on her new album. She only wants to focus on her music." Abdul’s future on American Idol was thrown into doubt last week (19Jul09) when her manager, David Sonenberg, told the Los Angeles Times it’s unlikely she will return for the show’s 2010 run.
