Pop star LILY ALLEN made sure the debut of her new jewellery collection on Monday (27Jul09) was a headline-grabbing event - she accidentally flashed a nipple during the London launch.
The Smile hitmaker was promoting the self-titled range at top hotel Claridge’s when her black corset slipped down and exposed her breast.
But Allen simply laughed off the wardrobe malfunction and continued to smile for the cameras after readjusting her top.
The jewellery line, which features gem-studded animal and flower designs, is expected to go on sale in stores in September (09).
It is Allen’s latest fashion venture - she’s previously designed a range of dresses for British clothing store New Look, while she appears in a new advertising campaign for Chanel’s latest range of luxury handbags.

KATIE HOLMES had a lucky escape on the Australian set of her new film DON’T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK over the weekend (25-26Jul09) when a car she was shooting in caught fire.
According to RadarOnline.com, Tom Cruise’s wife was in the middle of a scene when the car’s battery exploded unexpectedly, sending the cast and crew running for safety as smoke poured out from beneath the hood.
Holmes emerged unscathed and no injuries were reported from the Victoria location.

UMA THURMAN refuses to rule out cosmetic surgery as she gets older - insisting she understands why female actresses go under the knife.
The Kill Bill star turns 40 next year (09) and has so far steered clear of any surgical procedures in a bid to turn back the years.
But Thurman can appreciate why many stars in Hollywood go under the knife to halt the ageing process.
She says, "I totally understand, in my line of work, if someone feels that they’re not going to be able to do the job they passionately love unless they cut their face.
"I haven’t yet come to that sense of crisis. But I completely understand it - and I don’t judge it. But I do think it’s a pity, because I think women are so beautiful as they get older."

A battle between two of MOTLEY CRUE rocker VINCE NEIL’s managers has been settled.
Burt Stein and Allen Kovac have been warring through the courts for the past 18 months over their representation of the band’s lead singer.
Stein alleged the band and its management tried to put a stop to the percentage of revenues he is paid, while Kovac claimed Stein had been terminated as Neil’s manager and was owed nothing.
According to papers filed in Nashville, Tennessee on 17 July (09), the matter has been resolved. Details of the settlement were not disclosed.

Rap mogul SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS has finally paid up to settle a two-year-old tax bill.
The hip-hop star owed America’s Internal Revenue Service (IRS) $7,373 (£4,915) after underpaying the federal tax for the Atlanta, Georgia branch of his restaurant Justin’s in 2007.
Combs’ assistants claimed they were unaware of the financial oversight, blaming an address mix-up for failing to receive the IRS warnings about the outstanding amount.
The entrepreneur is now up to date on his tax payments after writing out a new cheque for the debt - but he’s baffled about how the administration error occurred.
His spokesperson says, "The new address was on file with the IRS, so it is surprising this happened."

MACHINE HEAD guitarist PHIL DEMMEL is recovering after passing out onstage at a concert in Finland on Saturday (25Jul09) - the latest in a string of seizures the rocker has suffered.
Demmel has a condition called cardiogenic syncope, which means his heart sometimes fails to pump enough blood to his brain, causing him to black out.
He collapsed several times onstage during the band’s winter (08/09) tour, with the latest incident occurring this weekend.
According to MetalHammer.co.uk, Demmel had to be helped from the stage, where he quickly regained consciousness and then returned to apologise to fans for "cheating them of their last song�.
Demmel later issued a statement adding: "I feel I short-changed the fans and really want to make it up for them. Thanks for all the concern."

Rock icons KISS performed their first un-masked concert in 14 years at San Diego, California’s Comic-Con on Saturday (25Jul09).
Bandmembers Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer shared vocal duties - standing in for absent frontman Paul Stanley - during the gig at the city’s Hard Rock Cafe.
It was the first time the group had appeared onstage without their trademark black and white face paint since 1995.
KISS are currently preparing for the October (09) release of their new album. Simmons has revealed the group are negotiating a deal with U.S. retail giant Wal-Mart to release the disc, with an entire section of each store re-branded Kiss Korner for the occasion.

Pop heartthrob JOE JONAS is back on the market after confirming he has split from actress girlfriend CAMILLE BELLE.

When approached by E! Online correspondent Marc Malkin to confirm the rumours, Jonas’ spokesperson confirmed the split, but insisted, "There is no third party involved."

UGLY BETTY actor TONY PLANA has been hit with a breach of contract lawsuit from his former manager in a dispute over unpaid wages.
The TV star - who plays lead character Betty Suarez’s father, Ignacio - is accused of failing to honour an agreement which entitles ex-manager Tracy Quinn to a cut of his pay cheque from the hit show.
Quinn filed papers in a Los Angeles County court on Monday (27Jul09) and is seeking at least $500,000 (£333,330) in compensation, reports TMZ.com.

BILLY BOB THORNTON’s estranged daughter has been freed on bail - two months after the babysitter was arrested for neglecting a child who died in her care.
Amanda Brumfield - Thornton’s 29-year-old child from his marriage to first wife Melissa Gatlin - was arrested in May (09) following an incident last October (08), when one-year-old Olivia Garcia fell from a playpen and hit her head.
The tot’s death was ruled a homicide and Brumfield has been charged with a number of crimes, including first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter.
Brumfield - who has not had any contact with Thornton for several years - was released from Orange County Jail in Florida on Friday (24Jul09) after paying $279,000 (£186,000) for her freedom.
She is due to return to court in December (09) when she will stand trial.

Influential American choreographer MERCE CUNNINGHAM, hailed as revolutionising modern dance, has died at the age of 90.
The dancing great died at his New York home on Sunday (26Jul09), "peacefully" and from natural causes, according to a statement from the Cunningham Dance Foundation.
Cunningham formed his own group, the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, in 1953 and choreographed almost 200 productions.
During his dancing career he was honoured with the National Medal of Arts and the MacArthur Fellowship.
In April (09), Cunningham marked his 90th birthday by premiering his new work, Nearly Ninety, at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. Last month (Jun09) he also set up a legacy plan to continue his work.
The choreographer danced into his 80s but was wheelchair-bound for the last few years of his life.
Last year (Dec08), Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones teamed up with rockers Sonic Youth and composer Takehisa Kosugi to create new music for an upcoming showcase for Cunningham’s New-York based dance company.
Cunningham is survived by his younger brother Jack and a collection of nieces and nephews.

KELLY CLARKSON has blasted her record label bosses for choosing to release ALREADY GONE as her next single - because it sounds too similar to BEYONCE’s hit tune HALO.
The American Idol winner has been forced to defend the track after receiving criticism for its likeness to Beyonce’s recent release, but Clarkson insists any comparisons are down to songwriter and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, who worked with both artists on their respective songs.
She says, "Ryan and I met each other at the record label, before he was working with anyone else… We wrote about six songs together, four or five of them made the album. It was all fine and dandy. I’d never heard of a song called Halo… (Beyonce’s) album came out when my album was already being printed.
"No one’s gonna be sitting at home, thinking, ‘Man, Ryan Tedder gave Beyonce and Kelly the same track to write to.’ No, they’re just gonna be saying I ripped someone off. I called Ryan and said ‘I don’t understand. Why would you do that?’" The Since U Been Gone hitmaker claims she "fought and fought" with executives at Sony Music to prevent Already Gone being her new release, but they’ve ignored her pleas and are pressing ahead with it as a single.
Clarkson adds, "In the end, they’re releasing it without my consent. It sucks, but it’s one of those things I have no control over. I already made my album. At this point, the record company can do whatever they want with it. It’s kind of a s**tty situation, but… you know, you learn."

SIENNA MILLER had a terrifying time when she first climbed behind the wheel of a car - she crashed within seconds.
The Factory Girl star, who passed her U.K. driving test earlier this month (Jul09), caused havoc when she wrecked her friend’s vehicle and had to climb out dripping in oil.
She says, "The first time I drove I wrote off a car… My best friend and her brother had this little car on the farm they lived on and I pretended I could drive and got in it and hit the accelerator instead of the brake… Through a concrete bollard, ditch, fence… I had to climb out of the window covered in oil. Former pop star SINITTA has the ideal man to help her through her recent divorce - ex lover SIMON COWELL.
The 1980s pop star, who dated the music mogul sporadically over 20 years, parted ways with financier Andy Willner last year (08) shortly after he relocated to Hong Kong for business.
The So Macho hitmaker has been left "very sad" after starting divorce proceedings earlier this month (Jul09) - but has Cowell to thank for helping her cope with the heartache.

THE GAME is adamant he will continue his war of words with JAY-Z - insisting he is one of the few rappers brave enough to take on the hip-hop heavyweight.
The pair has been at loggerheads since the 99 Problems hitmaker reportedly took a swipe at the former G-Unit star on his new album, The Blueprint 3.
The Game didn’t take kindly to the namecheck, and blasted Jay-Z throughout his European tour, branding him an "old a** n**ger" and urging revellers to chant, "F**k Jay-Z".
Jay-Z subsequently played down his song lyrics, insisting there was no need for the duo for start a petty feud.
But the Dreams rapper isn’t too keen to step down from a fight with the music mogul, insisting if wants a "war", he’ll get one.

Police in New Jersey have arrested one man in connection with the hit-and-run death of a former AMERICAN IDOL contestant at the weekend.
Wannabe singer Alexis Cohen, who auditioned for the TV talent show twice in 2007 and 2008, was killed on Saturday morning (25Jul09) when she was struck by a car in Seaside Heights.
An autopsy conducted by the office of the Ocean County Medical Examiner showed the 25 year old died from multiple traumatic chest and abdominal injuries and a closed head injury.
Cops arrested 23-year-old Daniel Bark on Sunday (26Jul09) and booked him on charges of death by reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
His bail has been set at $35,000 (£23,335) and Bark faces up to 15 years behind bars for the alleged crime.

THE GAME is challenging rap rivals COMMON and ICE CUBE for the role of B.A. BARACUS in the upcoming big screen adaptation of THE A-TEAM.
The Dreams star has confirmed he’s auditioned for the iconic part, made famous by Mr. T, and he’s facing an anxious wait to see if he’s landed the job.
The hip-hop star is keeping himself busy touring and working on his next album Red - but admits its release all depends on the success of his fledgling acting career.
He tells Hip-Hop Weekly, "It depends on this A-Team movie project I’m up for. If that doesn’t happen it (the album) will be (released) in December (09)." However, The Game is doing all he can to ensure he edges out his competitors - he’s piling on the pounds to convince director Joe Carnahan he’s the right man for the role.
He adds, "I’m looking forward to working with the director Joe Carnahan and Liam Neeson, who’s playing Hannibal. I gotta gain 35 pounds (15.9 kilograms) before December so, I’m on my regimen and training. I’m gonna go from 225 to 260 (pounds - 102 to 118 kilograms) over the next couple months and it’s an exciting process for me, so it’s on!"

Pop star JOE JONAS has hinted he’s split from actress girlfriend CAMILLA BELLE after changing the lyrics to a break-up song during a weekend performance in Detroit, Michigan.
The teenager took to the stage with his Jonas Brothers bandmates on Sunday (26Jul09) and sang a rendition of Much Better - a track widely believed to be taking aim at his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift.
But Jonas suggested to fans his romance with Belle was now over after replacing the original lyrics, "Get a rep for breakin’ hearts, now I’m done with superstars", to "Get a rep for breakin hearts, now I’m done with movie stars".
According to PerezHilton.com, Jonas also removed a necklace given to him by the 10,000 B.C. beauty during the set, with fans interpreting his actions as confirmation that he’s now single.
The couple had been dating since meeting on the set of the group’s music video for Love Bug last year (08).
