Pop star KATY PERRY has poked fun at internet rumours linking her to singer JOSH GROBAN by inking a temporary tattoo of his name on her chest.
The star was rumoured to have been dating Groban earlier this year (09) after she split from longtime boyfriend, Gym Class Heroes star Travis McCoy.
In a joke post on her Twitter.com page, Perry writes, "Oh no!!! I was so drunk! don’t remember this being an option! New tattoo!!!" And she shocked fans by posting a picture of her provocatively pulling down her dress to reveal a new piece of art work on her left breast, an incorrect spelling of her rumoured lover’s name, ‘Josh Grobin’ in big letters.
But the piece was revealed to be a fake - the star had the temporary sketch inked at a real tattoo parlour in New York to fool the photographers waiting outside to get a glimpse of her new bodyart.
Perry did have a real tattoo inked while she was at the parlour - a tiny smiling strawberry on her ankle.

Rapper JA RULE has been forced to postpone a concert in Australia after he ran into problems obtaining a work visa.
The New York-based star was due to head Down Under for a gig in Melbourne on 25 August (09).
But the show has now been pushed back to 29 August (09) after immigration authorities failed to issue his work permit in time.
Representatives for the hip-hop star admit the gig has been pushed back "due to visa processing," according to Allhiphop.com.
The country’s border authorities are notoriously strict when it comes to allowing entertainers with criminal records to perform in Australia.
Ja Rule - real name Jeffrey Atkins - was arrested and charged with weapons violations in 2007, when police stopped him and discovered a loaded semi-automatic weapon in his car. He was previously in trouble with the law in 2005 when he pleaded guilty to punching a fan in Toronto, Canada.
Other stars to have been hit with problems trying to enter Australia include Snoop Dogg, who was banned from the country until 2008 because he failed authorities’ ‘Character Test’. Coolio was also forced to cancel his Australian tour earlier this year (09) after he was hit by drug possession charges.

Hit U.S. sitcom EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND is about to launch in Russia, where local producers are on the hunt for a CHER lookalike to play the role 76-year-old DORIS ROBERTS made famous from 1996 to 2005.
The show, which revolved around comedian Ray Romano’s fictitious family life, currently airs in over 170 countries around the world - and Russian TV tsars are hoping to remake the series as a local favourite.
Roberts tells WENN, "They thought the person to play my role should be something like Cher. I don’t know what that’s gonna be like and can’t wait to see that.
"They claim they’re inviting the original cast to Russia for the premiere. I hope I can go and I’m gonna get a Cher wig." And Roberts admits the now defunct comedy has some pretty powerful fans: "I got a call from Pierce Brosnan, who I worked with on Remington Steele, and he said, ‘Oh Doris, I’m in the dentist’s chair and I’m watching you on Everybody Loves Raymond and I’m laughing my head off.’"

Burlesque beauty DITA VON TEESE has laughed off a series of newspaper articles which alleged she was hiding a secret past in porn - insisting she has always been honest about her past work in the adult film industry.
A series of pictures of the star performing naked under the pseudonym Bedroom Betty were published this week (beg27Jul09), with several U.K. tabloids claiming to have discovered her hidden past.
But Von Teese is adamant that she has always been open about the erotic films - and even sells them on her website.

JACKASS star JOHNNY KNOXVILLE is single again - he has finalised his divorce from his wife of 12 years.
Knoxville and his wife Melanie - who are parents to 13 year old daughter Madison - married in 1995 and filed for divorce in 2007.
Their union came to an official end in a Los Angeles court on Friday (24Jul09) after the star - real name Philip John Clapp - agreed to pay his former partner $6,000 (£4,000) a month in child support.
Melanie will also receive half of Knoxville’s residual payments from the Jackass franchise and his 2005 Dukes of Hazzard movie, according to People.com.
Knoxville retained his stake in his various production companies and will share joint custody of his daughter.

MICHAEL JACKSON’s mother is demanding access to contracts her late son signed with the promoters behind his comeback shows in London.
Controversy still surrounds Jackson’s decision to perform an exhausting 50 shows in the British capital, which were due to begin this month (Jul09) - and Katherine Jackson is determined to get to the bottom of the agreement between her son and AEG Live bosses.
The Jackson family matriarch filed court papers on Tuesday (28Jul09) demanding the production of financial documents and contracts her son entered into with his lawyers, record label and concert officials - and even his father Joe.
Katherine insists she had no choice but to file official documents because, "The special administrators (of Jackson’s estate) have, up to this point, refused all requests," insisting the attorneys for her son’s estate are "intent on keeping her in the dark as much and for as long as possible." The lawyers and promoters she is targeting claim Jackson’s request is "burdensome and invasive." The attorneys have also expressed concern that Katherine would not uphold a confidentiality agreement surrounding the concert deal: "Without the safeguards necessary to ensure the continued confidentiality of the artist agreement and any proposed modifications, AEG cannot provide such information to Ms. Jackson or her counsel without risking serious harm to its business." Katherine Jackson was initially granted temporary control of her son’s estate shortly after Jackson’s death in June (09), but a 2002 will made it clear that the King of Pop wanted lawyer John Branca and business associate John McClain to oversee his affairs if he died. The two men were named temporary administrators of the estate at the beginning of July (09).
The administration battle will return to court next week (03Aug09).

Shock rocker MARILYN MANSON is threatening to kill journalists who take aim at him in interviews after a L.A. Weekly reporter recently suggested the star was a paranoid cocaine user in an article.
Manson took offence to writer Travis Keller’s piece and has issued a warning to hacks who publish "cavalier statements" about him or his band in a sinister MySpace.com blog.
The rocker promises to avenge any such articles by visiting the writers at home.
He rages, "If one more ‘journalist’ makes a cavalier statement about me and my band, I will personally, or with my fans’ help, greet them at their home and discover just how much they believe in their freedom of speech.
"I dare you all to write one more thing that you won’t say to my face. Because I will make you say it. In that manner. That is a threat." In the L.A. Weekly article, Keller recalls meeting Manson in 2007 and states the Rock Is Dead singer opened their dialogue by asking, "Can you get us some cocaine?" Keller writes, "I remember thinking, ‘He’s going to come out with some kind of cape on’. I’d never met him before and thought he’d be hanging out in a coffin. He’s nothing like that." The reporter went on to reveal Manson dubbed his girlfriend at the time Snowflake, because "when they played shows, she’d hold all the coke."

R&B superstar BEYONCE is helping to feed the hungry - the singer is spearheading a new campaign to aid U.S. food banks.
The Irreplaceable hitmaker has teamed up with food brand General Mills’ Hamburger Helper to launch the Show Your Helping Hand initiative to benefit poverty-stricken families across America.
Last month (Jun09) Beyonce fans were able to show their support by bringing non-perishable foods to her concert at Madison Square Garden in New York, and now the star is urging more people to take part by purchasing special Hamburger Helper products - money from which will be donated to the cause.
The campaign aims to deliver more than 3.5 million meals to food banks across the country.

Country sensation TAYLOR SWIFT scored a new attendance record at the North Dakota State Fair on Saturday (25Jul09).
More than 50,600 fans turned out to see her set in Minot, setting a new daily attendance record at the fair.
Until Saturday, fair organisers had never surpassed the 40,000 mark.
Swift joins Huey Lewis & the News as the only entertainers to sell out a concert during the event.

Former TALKING HEADS frontman DAVID BYRNE has taken aim at Irish rockers U2 for spending so much money on their current world tour, accusing human rights campaigner BONO of hypocrisy over the lavish shows.
The singer/songwriter complains the band’s ongoing 360 global trek has cost millions to stage - money which would have been better spent helping Bono’s various charity campaigns.
Byrne also targets Bono’s environmental concerns, insisting there is nothing planet-friendly about the hundreds of trucks needed to transport U2’s massive set across the world.
In a post on his website, he writes, "Those stadium shows may possibly be the most extravagant and expensive (production-wise) ever: $40 million to build the stage and, having done the math, we estimate 200 semi trucks crisscrossing Europe for the duration.
"It could be professional envy speaking here, but it sure looks like, well, overkill, and just a wee bit out of balance given all the starving people in Africa and all."

R&B star CIARA’s new cropped look has landed the singer in a lot of trouble with her ex-stylist.
Shirlena Allen insists the Goodies hitmaker’s hot new hairdo is all thanks to a wig Ciara has yet to return to her - and the style queen is still awaiting payment for her work on the singer’s image a year ago.
In a furious email to website Bossip.com, Allen rages, "The wig used and work (done) on the photo shoot, she (Ciara) doesn’t even want to pay me for it. She’s a year behind all of it.
"I ask for the wig back a year ago, she says she cant find it (sic)." Ciara posted her ‘new’ look on her Twitter.com page, and Allen is demanding credit.

TITO JACKSON refused to take a last look at his tragic brother’s body - because he feared he wouldn’t recognise the late King of Pop.
Tito joined family members at a private viewing before the casket lid was closed on his brother’s body and the coffin was transported to a memorial tribute on 7 July (09), but he didn’t check out the remains.
The Jackson 5 star says, "I didn’t want to see him in that situation because I wanted to remember my brother as the beautiful spirit that he was - entertaining, laughing, having fun." According to reports, Michael’s brain had been removed, his nose was missing and the pop star was emaciated.

Bond girl EVA GREEN is missing her dog so much, she’s considering faking blindness so she can bring him to England.
The French star had to leave her beloved Border terrier in her native Paris when she set up home recently in London - because dogs are forbidden to ride on the Eurostar train that links the two capitals.
Green says, "I’m thinking about faking blindness. My Border terrier is still stuck living in France, because you can’t take your dog on the Eurostar unless you’re blind.
"I love my dog so much - he’s basically my husband. I’m thinking about buying a white stick."

ERIC BANA had a back-up plan if his acting career hadn’t taken flight - he wanted to become a daredevil motocross racer.
The Australian star grew up building ramps around his home and practising the extreme sport with pals, until a trick went wrong.
And looking back Bana admits his dream died - as he would never have become a great racer.
He says, "I used to love jumping my mates. I had a very crude ramp at home - a very short piece of steel I used to bang up against two bricks. And I did (jump over) 16 (people), that was my record. It wasn’t like the Evel Knievel record though, where they were lying down. They were skinny kids. It was a pretty good jump… I bragged about it to my father when he got home from work and did it with no kids, and crashed right in front of him. The BMX career stopped right then."

STAR TREK star LEONARD NIMOY is to narrate the first astronomic orchestral concert on the lawn outside Hollywood landmark the Griffith Observatory.
Film and TV’s Mr. Spock will be backed by the 67-piece Symphony in the Glen for the full moon performance of Arthur B. Rubinstein’s Observations on 4 October (09).
It’s the first time in the observatory’s 74-year history that a full symphony orchestra has performed there.
The observatory has provided the backdrop for a host of classic movies, including Rebel without a Cause, The Terminator, Bowfinger and Transformers.

Filmmaker PETER JACKSON has warned LORD OF THE RINGS fans not to get too excited about THE HOBBIT prequels - because they have yet to receive the go-ahead from movie studio executives.
Jackson has signed on to co-write and co-produce two Hobbit movies, based on the fantasy novels by J.R.R. Tolkien, which will be directed by Guillermo del Toro.
Reports suggest the first film is slated for release in 2011, while the second part will follow in 2012.
But Jackson insists the projects are still in their very early stages - and they’ve yet to come up with a script, let alone secure funding for the movies, reports Starpulse.
Speaking at Comic-Con in San Diego, California at the weekend (25-26Jul09), Jackson said, "I mean, people assume that we have a green light and we’re making the movie which we don’t. I mean, we have to deliver the script. The studio obviously has to approve the script and then we have to budget that script because we have no budget yet. They’re not going to make the film with an open cheque book so we have to figure out how much it’s going to cost and if that’s going to be okay." And Jackson is refusing to begin speculating about casting until the script is finished - despite Lord of the Rings actors Sir Ian McKellen and Andy Serkis already expressing their desire to reprise their roles in the franchise.
He adds, "We have a process to go through that really, once we get the script delivered, we can break it down, we can do the budgeting, we can figure out schedules and we can move onto the second script that we have to obviously start writing immediately (after) the first one’s done. Then we can start casting the movie once we have a budget and once the studio greenlight the movie."

SCARLETT JOHANSSON is set for a return to the album charts as part of a new duo with singer/songwriter PETE YORN.
The actress, who hit the charts last year (08) with an album full of Tom Waits tunes, recorded tracks for Break Up in 2007 - and now Yorn plans to release the project in September (09).
The cult songwriter tells Billboard.com he hopes to recreate the kind of the working relationship between French stars Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot with the actress.
He says, "I was really into Bonnie & Clyde at the time, by Serge and Brigitte, and I thought, ‘Brigitte… Scarlett! She’s Brigitte!’ It was a really manic thought pattern that was going on. Within 10 minutes, I was texting Scarlett: ‘We have to make a record!’" Yorn reveals he and his new partner are hoping to tour with their new album: "Hopefully we’ll be able to put a couple of events together where we could perform a little bit."
