RIMES ADDRESSES SPLIT RUMOURS
LEANN RIMES has broken her silence over rumours she has split from husband DEAN SHEREMET - telling gig-goers in Utah she is nursing a "broken heart".
The couple’s marriage has been under intense scrutiny since she was caught on camera kissing her Northern Lights co-star Eddie Cibrian during a night out in Los Angeles earlier this year (09).
Both stars denied cheating on their spouses, but rumours of an affair were fuelled last week (21Jul09) when Cibrian’s wife Brandi Glanville revealed she was taking some time apart from her husband - hinting there was more to Cibrian and Rimes’ relationship than they admitted.
Rimes and Sheremet have subsequently been hit by rumours that they too are living separately in a bid to salvage their relationship, with the Blue hitmaker being snapped out and about without her wedding ring.
The singer has now voiced her thoughts on the speculation surrounding her marriage - opening up to the audience at the Deer Valley Music Festival in Utah on Saturday night (25Jul09).
During her performance, Rimes stopped and told the crowd about her heart-ache: "It is inevitable that sometimes in a relationship, you will have your heart broken. Sometimes you don’t do anything, but sometimes you want revenge. Sometimes you don’t, and that’s when you just leave it in God’s hands and know that He will take care of it."
