JACKSON’S SON ‘WATCHED MURRAY REVIVAL ATTEMPT’
MICHAEL JACKSON’s eldest son PRINCE MICHAEL watched as DR CONRAD MURRAY failed to revive his father’s dead body, according to reports.
The late King of Pop’s medic is said to have called the boy over to see him perform cardiac resuscitation on his father - because he wanted to have a witness.
But the Jackson clan is "sickened" the 12 year old was allegedly allowed to watch the failed attempt, according to close family friend and the singer’s former doctor Dr Steven Hoefflin.
Speaking on behalf of family matriach Katherine, Hoefflin alleges Prince Michael was "understandably traumatised" after seeing his dad die on 25 June (09).
Hoefflin tells Britain’s The Sun, "I have been told by the family and from talking to the children that on the night Michael died, Dr Murray actually got one of the Jackson children - it was Prince Michael - to personally come into the bedroom to watch him performing CPR on his father. The family have told me Dr Murray ensured Prince Michael understood the CPR procedure and that he was doing it correctly.
"It is the family’s belief that this was intended to show a member of Michael’s family that he was trying to bring Michael back to life. In my opinion Dr Murray should have known Michael was already dead and I believe that is the reason he didn’t move from the bed to the harder surface of the floor to perform CPR. It was horrific and very traumatic for Prince Michael. Katherine and the rest of the family are sickened this happened." Murray is currently under investigation in connection with the tragedy as police delve deeper into the mystery surrounding his sudden death.
On Wednesday (23Jul09) his offices in Houston, Texas were raided by police officers to seize all documents relating to his treatment of Jackson, including medical notes, details of any drugs he was taking, and records of prescriptions he handed out to the star.
