EMINEM’S BROTHER TO PLEAD GUILTY IN DUI CASE
Rapper EMINEM’s little brother has pleaded guilty to drink driving as part of a deal with Michigan prosecutors.
Nathan Mathers, who raps as Nathan Kane, was arrested in April (09) in Detroit, Michigan after failing roadside sobriety tests.
The 23 year old managed to avoid a bench trial in a Michigan district court on Thursday (23Jul09), after striking a deal with prosecutors to plead guilty to driving under the influence (DUI) and operating a vehicle while impaired.
He will formally enter his plea and receive his sentence at a hearing in August (09).
Mathers was pulled over after he failed to let an ambulance pass, and police found his blood-alcohol level was 0.16 per cent, twice the 0.08 per cent legal limit.
