HATHAWAY SURPRISES FANS WITH PIZZA
ANNE HATHAWAY rewarded fans waiting in line to see her final performance in SHAKESPEARE play TWELFTH NIGHT - by bringing them pizza.
Theatre lovers desperate to see Hathaway close her run in New York’s annual Shakespeare in the Park event last week (09-12Jul09) had to wait overnight for tickets, which were made available on a first-come, first-served basis.
But queueing fans got more than just a pass to the show - the actress arrived at 3am on Sunday (12Jul09) to personally thank them for their support.
And she didn’t show up empty-handed - generous Hathaway brought a giant box of pizza and offered a slice to every person in line.
