SUMNER: ‘NEW ORDER WAS NO FUN"

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:09 am

Rocker BERNARD SUMNER has nailed the coffin shut on his former band NEW ORDER, revealing he never had much fun recording with PETER HOOK.
The group split in 2007 but fans continue to hope Hook and Sumner will put aside their differences and work together again soon - something the frontman insists will never happen.
And, recording with new band Bad Lieutenant, Sumner admits he has finally come to realise how much fun he can have in a studio.
He tells Britain’s Mojo magazine, "When I make music these days, I want it to be fun, nice, enjoyable and I find those conditions with this new band.
"This new album is really important for me. It’ll either work - people will like it - or I’ll stop making music. I don’t want to make music as part of New Order."
