A senior Los Angeles police chief has confirmed cops are refusing to rule out the possibility MICHAEL JACKSON was murdered.
William Bratton, the head of L.A. police, says officers are still waiting for the results of toxicology tests to determine how the King of Pop died.
He tells U.S. broadcaster CNN, "Are we dealing with a homicide or are we dealing with accidental overdose? I don’t have that information… We are still awaiting corroboration from the coroner’s office as to cause of death.
"That is going to be very dependent on the toxicology reports that are due to come back. And based on those, we will have an idea of what it is we are dealing (with). So as we are standing here speaking, I can tell you I don’t have that information." Jackson’s father Joe also reiterated his belief the singer’s death was not accidental, telling ABC News: "I do believe it was foul play."

LINDSAY LOHAN has embarked on a career behind the camera - the actress has started her own production company.
The Mean Girls star has teamed up once again with business partner Kristi Kaylor, who runs Lohan’s 6126 leggings brand, for their new venture Unforgettable Productions.
The pair is planning to create TV and movie projects in which Lohan can star and have already set the wheels in motion for two projects.
Lohan’s first production ventures include a TV show Lohan plans to make the female fashionista’s answer to hit U.S. series Entourage called Faux Real and a game show tentatively called That’s What Friends Are For, which will partner with charitable organisations.
According to Kaylor, the pair are also optioning two books for film and television and are using the booming popularity of digital media to make their projects more easily accessible.
She tells the Hollywood Reporter, "We’re taking a 360-degree approach. Lindsay is 23 years old, and she’s so plugged in to mobile media."

DANIEL RADCLIFFE won’t be following his HARRY POTTER star co-star EMMA WATSON to university this autumn (09) - insisting he gets enough education from acting.
The two actors have furthered their education on film sets with private tutors since shooting to fame with the wizard series in 2001 and now Watson is making a move to the U.S., where she’ll pursue a degree in liberal arts.
But 19-year-old Radcliffe has passed up the chance to attend college for now, insisting his acting coaches give him all the education he needs.
He says, "I want to keep working for as long as possible, just acting ideally. I’m also trying to continue my education as much as I can with an english tutor who comes on set… I’ve got quite a freakish memory. I’d like to think I’m a good student - not as good as Emma, she’s got all these fantastic grades. But I’d like to think I can hold my own with most people."

MADONNA was too busy working to take her kids exploring in Paris, France - so the four children were sent sight-seeing with their nannies.
The pop superstar was in the city to continue her Sticky & Sweet world tour with a gig at the Bercy Arena on Thursday night (09Jul09).
The singer was tied up with rehearsals and soundchecks for the concert all day, but didn’t want her brood to miss out on seeing the city.
So Lourdes, 12, Rocco, eight, David Banda, three, and her newly adopted daughter Mercy, three, were sent round the sights with their carers. The group took a boat trip on the river Seine and visited the Eiffel Tower.

A set of pictures showing MICHAEL JACKSON’s ex-wife cuddling the star’s dermatologist have fuelled rumours the skin doctor may have fathered the singer’s children.
Newly released photos show Dr. Arnold Klein in his office laughing and affectionately hugging Debbie Rowe - mother of Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11.
Klein recently brushed off rumours he is the biological father of Jackson’s eldest kids during an interview with U.S. talk show host Larry King. But Klein’s coy answers have only heightened speculation he is the real dad.
When asked about the pair’s parentage he said, "I still can’t answer that one way or the other. I once donated sperm to a sperm bank. I think to the best of my knowledge I am not the father." And now the photographs have added to the mystery. The shots, in which Rowe can be seen wrapping her legs around Klein and holding his hand, are believed to have been taken for a magazine shoot in 1993.
Hollywood insider Diane Dimond tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "I have long heard that this was an agreement between Michael Jackson, Debbie Rowe and Arnie Klein. Arnie Klein would provide the sperm, Debbie Rowe would provide the eggs and she would give birth to babies for Michael. It was sort of an open secret among a small cadre of people close to Jackson." An unnamed source adds to the publication, "Arnie is the dad. He and Debbie signed an agreement to never reveal the truth."

Hollywood actor JAMIE FOXX has made another celebrity enemy - he has upset RIHANNA by embarrassing her in front of revellers at a Las Vegas nightclub.
The Ray actor was cracking jokes for fellow party-goers at Sin City’s Tao hotspot when he spotted the R&B star and repeatedly asked her to join him on stage and take the mic.
She refused, and Foxx prompted the DJ to blast out her hit Umbrella over the speakers, according to New York Post gossip column PageSix.
Foxx saw the singer preparing to depart and ordered her to stay - reportedly leaving her "fuming".
A source tells the tabloid, "Jamie took over the microphone and started doing a show. Halfway through, he asked Rihanna to join him onstage. Rihanna declined, but Foxx continued to badger her.â�� When the DJ began to play Umbrella, the source adds: "That was the last straw. She got up to leave, and Jamie told the DJ to stop the record. (He shouted) ‘You canâ��t go while your song is playing. Relax.’ "Rihanna stayed and pretended to enjoy herself, but it was so obvious she was fuming. As soon as the song was over, she got the hell out of there." ANGELINA JOLIE has finally found time to pursue her hobbies - the actress has resumed her flying lessons.
The Tomb Raider star was granted a pilot’s licence in 2005 and bought her own plane but has been forced to put her flying ambitions on hold because of family commitments - giving birth to three children and adopting one more since gaining her qualification.
Jolie’s partner Brad Pitt took up flying lessons earlier this year (Apr09) and now she has followed him back into the sky by jumping into the cockpit of her Cirrus SR-22 at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California on Thursday (09Jul09).

MEL GIBSON is reportedly set to make his acting comeback - in a film directed by his MAVERICK co-star JODIE FOSTER.
The Hollywood actor has shunned movie roles in the last few years, preferring instead to focus on his work as a director.
But Gibson is reportedly eyeing a return to a leading role with his pal Foster, who has signed up to helm The Beaver, about a depressed man who finds solace in a hand-puppet, according to Variety.com.
Funnyman Jim Carrey was previously rumoured to be in the running to star in the film.
It will mark Foster’s third outing as a director after 1991’s Little Man Tate and Home for the Holidays in 1995.

Researchers at online survey site Predicto.com have quizzed more than 21,000 Jackson fans about what they think the future has in store for the late pop star’s music and family - and an overwhelming number felt new material would be released to follow what would have been the singer’s 51st birthday at the end of August (09).
More than 70 per cent of fans thought Jackson’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe would seek custody of her two kids with the star and 90 per cent felt sure Janet Jackson would honour her brother with a tribute at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

Actress EMMA WATSON is terrified of ending her run in the HARRY POTTER film franchise - because her "life will be over" once the movies conclude.
The 19 year old has enrolled at college and will be heading to New York’s Columbia University in the autumn (09).
She will juggle her studies with filming the final wizard movie - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - which will be split into two parts.
And Watson is scared of seeing the films come to an end - because she will be a full time student with a completely different life.
She says, "It’s going to sound dramatic, but I feel my life as I know it will be over. My whole life has been about Harry Potter and then all of that will be shut down and I don’t know what it will be like."

Jackson agreed to let the rapper sample his hit Lady In My Life, which he turned into hip-hop anthem Hey Lover, earning him the Best Rap Solo Performance Grammy back in 1996.
Cool J insists the gesture was extra-special, because Jackson rarely let other artists cover or sample his work.
He says, "I used a piece of Lady In My Life for my song Hey Lover. Michael cleared the sample, and made it possible for me to get a Grammy. Not a lot of people know that because Michael wasn’t big on clearing samples.

Actress TATUM O’NEAL has opened up about her relationship with MICHAEL JACKSON - calling their brief romance "awkward".
The 45 year old went on a string of dates with Jackson in 1982 and admits the late singer was already using disguises to stop fans recognising him in public.

Bosses of MICHAEL JACKSON’s record label are stalling on plans to release the late icon’s most recent recordings - because they don’t want to "cash in" on his fans’ grief.
EMI president Amanda Ghost has spoken out about rumoured plans for the superstar’s latest tunes to be fast-tracked into stores following his untimely demise last month (25Jun09).
It is believed Jackson, who had been in the studio with will.i.am and Akon before he died, has hundreds of previously unheard songs waiting for release.
And Ghost confirms there is a huge backlog of recordings made by the Thriller star in the years following his last studio album, Invincible, in 2001 but insists EMI does not want to jump on the "bandwagon" by making quick cash from his death.
She tells BBC 6 Music, "We just want to pay our respects to Michael. We don’t want to be seen to be jumping on any bandwagon associated with his death.
"I have no idea when it’s coming out, but it will come out on Sony/Epic. We haven’t made any decisions because we just want to be respectful for his memory and not be seen in any way as trying to cash in." Sales of the tragic singer’s records have soared since his tragic passing, with many of the star’s greatest hits making up the top ten countdown in the U.K. and the U.S.

The teenage Brit has used his Potter pennies to buy a London bachelor pad - and his parents have wasted no time with their plans for his old room.
Radcliffe tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "It’s weird knowing other people have slept in your bed. It’s like your room has had an affair… Everywhere I look triggers off another memory."

M.I.A.’s protege RYE RYE has opened up about her reasons for pulling out of her first major tour - she fell pregnant.
The teenage hip-hop star, real name Ryeisha Berrain, pulled out of her spring (09) tour with A-Trak without explanation and now she has taken to her blog to reveal she’s pregnant.
She writes, "I was suppose (sic) to be on the A-Trak tour but because of personal reasons i was pulled in the direction of not doing it. Things happen for a reason, some happen at the the wrong point of ya life but no one knows why or for what reason only God (sic). So yes I was blessed with a child." Rye Rye, 18, admits she considered aborting the child, adding, "My first thought was to get rid of it. I asked God for guidance and i went to the hospital 4 times and each time i had a breakdown and i knew what direction God was pulling me in… i feel as tho i had a baby and i had to much integrity to abort her.
"My mom was on the table about to have me aborted and seen (sic) my heartbeat and changed her mind. Iâ��m young but Iâ��m also grown and right now it’s a lot on me.
"I have a lot of resect (sic) for the label for understanding and backing me and willing to work around this so we can release an amazing album."
