MICHAEL JACKSON has left almost half of his assets to his three children, according to new reports.
The King Of Pop insisted that 40 per cent of his estate goes to his kids, Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II ‘Blanket’, seven.
A further 40 per cent of his trust goes to his mother Katherine, according to TMZ.com.
The remaining 20 per cent will allegedly go to a number of as-yet-undecided children’s charities.
Katherine Jackson currently has temporary control of her late son’s estate - as well as guardianship of her three grandchildren. A hearing on Jackson’s estate will go ahead on Monday morning (06Jul09) in Los Angeles.

Former DANITY KANE star AUBREY O’DAY is reportedly in talks to bare almost all in the role former SPICE GIRLS star MELANIE BROWN created in saucy Las Vegas revue PEEP SHOW.
Brown’s run in the hit show ended last month (21Jun09) and singer Shoshana Bean has replaced her in the role of Peep Diva, opposite former Playboy Playmate Holly Madison, but O’Day, who recently posed naked for Playboy magazine, is in negotiations to take over the part later this year (09).
O’Day has a long history of stage performances, and made her Broadway debut as Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray shortly after she was axed from Danity Kane in 2008.

BRAD PITT was forced to hitch a lift from a paparazzo on Thursday (02Jul09) - when his motorbike broke down on a busy Hollywood street.
The actor was being tailed by photographers as he rode the classic motorcycle through Los Angeles - and the snappers got their shot when Pitt’s vehicle came to an abrupt halt.
The 45 year old attempted to fix the bike - but when his efforts failed, he thumbed for a lift from a kind snapper, according to Radaronline.com.

KEANU REEVES can’t wait to see what the critics make of his new movie - because he loves finding out how his performances are rated.
The Speed actor stars in new drama The Private Lives of Pippa Lee - about a middle-aged woman suffering a nervous breakdown - in which Reeves plays the title character’s younger lover.
And he’s awaiting the press reviews with bated breath - to see if he has done a good job.
Reeves says, "I want to see what they (the critics) write, for sure. You know it’s going to be whatever it’s going to be and you have to take a review as it is.
"I mean, whatever they write is whatever they write, and I’m not going to be able to change it. The review is part of why you want to entertain. You want to know what your audience thinks about the film and the performance.
"I’m interested in what people think, even if it’s just one person."

Fans of MICHAEL JACKSON will be able to attend his memorial service next week (07Jul09) if they’re picked at random in an online ballot.
Jackson devotees will have to register online for a chance to be allocated one of 11,000 free tickets which are to be made available for the public ceremony at Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Tuesday morning.
Further details about ticket availability will be announced on Friday (03Jul09).
The venue is particularly poignant for the King Of Pop’s followers - it is where he was rehearsing for his comeback This Is It shows just a day before his death last week (25Jun09).

MICHAEL JACKSON’s ex-wife DEBBIE ROWE is undecided whether to launch a custody bid for her two children with the King Of Pop, according to her lawyer.
Rowe, who is the biological mother of Jackson’s two eldest kids, Prince Michael and Paris, told a local California TV news reporter on Thursday (02Jul09) she plans to fight for custody of her children, stating: "I want my kids." The two youngsters, as well as their younger brother Prince ‘Blanket’ Michael II, are currently in the care of their paternal grandmother Katherine after she was granted temporary guardianship earlier this week (begs29Jun09).
A longterm decision about their future will be made in a court hearing next week (06Jul09) - but Rowe’s lawyer Eric M. George insists his client has not made a final decision regarding the custody of her children.
He says, "Debbie Rowe has not reached a final decision concerning the custody proceedings.
"As many of you know, my belief is that the pending custody proceedings are the most private and the most sensitive of matters as they impact the lives and the fates of young children.
"To that end, I’ve endeavoured out of respect for Michael’s children and family, especially in this time of grieving, to keep silence on these matters, to deny all interview requests and to share only that information involving upcoming public court proceedings." And George has slammed media outlets for picking up on Rowe’s comment, claiming it was a "distortion of the truth".
He adds, "I have no reason to doubt that what was reported from that conversation was accurately and ethically reported, but that said, it would be a distortion of the truth to allow that single snapshot of a single conversation, to stand as the truth on Debbie’s position on this sensitive matter.
"Once again, the truth is that Debbie has not reached a final decision concerning the pending custody proceedings.
"When Debbie does take a position in the public forum of a court, those positions will, of course, be conveyed to all interested persons. In the meantime, I very much appreciate everybody’s continued respect for Debbieâ��s privacy at this time." Jackson died after suffering a cardiac arrest last week (25Jun09).

DANIEL RADCLIFFE was unfazed by his on-screen kiss in the upcoming HARRY POTTER movie - because appearing naked on Broadway has left him "blase" about filming intimate scenes.
The 19 year old disrobed onstage in New York and London’s West End for his role in Equus, in which he played a 17-year-old schoolboy who is obsessed with horses.
The experience ensured Radcliffe was fully prepared for his big screen kiss in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, which hits movie theatres later this month (Jul09).
But his co-star Bonnie Wright wasn’t as confident with the smooching shoot.
Radcliffe says, "By the time I made this film I’d done a nude scene on stage and a few kissing scenes, so I was totally blase.
"Poor Bonnie was very nervous. I hadn’t factored that in. I’d taken it for granted that she’d be fine too. She’d never had to do that so I had to be calming with her and she did very well."

TOM CRUISE has treated his daughter SURI to a toy kangaroo after the tot fell in love with marsupials during a trip to Melbourne Zoo in Australia.
Cruise has taken his family Down Under, where he’s shooting a new movie - and before filming got underway, the movie star decided to treat the three year old to the sites of Melbourne.
The family is staying in billionaire pal James Packer’s hotel suite, and Cruise headed to the zoo on Thursday (02Jul09), where Suri marvelled at the marsupials.

Supermodel KATE MOSS made it ladies night at the launch of BETH DITTO’s new fashion line on Wednesday (01Jul09), when she jumped onstage for a round of karaoke with the larger-than-life singer.
The catwalk queen was supporting the London launch of her rocker pal’s new style range for British high street store Evans when the pair decided to treat the appreciative audience to a sing-a-long.

Soul star MAXWELL walked away from music in 2001 because he was exhausted and "burned out".
The singer topped the charts back in 2001 with album Now, and then quit.
Eight years on, he is refreshed and recharged and preparing for the release of a new record called Blacksummer’snight, his first disc in eight years.
Maxwell tells Us Weekly, "You can’t make the best music when you are burned out. So I took a break to recalibrate my system, write and travel."

SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS is in mourning following the death of his beloved pet dog.
The rap mogul’s Pomeranian, named Daryn, was playing with one of Combs’ children on Tuesday (30Jun09) when he chewed up a ball and choked on it, according to RadarOnline.com.
Devastated Combs said goodbye to the pooch and had his assistant take his pet’s remains to the Calabasas Pet Memorial Park in Los Angeles for cremation.
Combs has two other dogs, Dusty and Diamond.

Rocker JACK WHITE’s lost movie debut is to premiere at San Diego, California’s comic book convention Comic-Con later this month (Jul09).
The White Stripes, Raconteurs and Dead Weather star has appeared in films like Cold Mountain and Walk Hard, in which he portrayed Elvis Presley, but his first acting role was in a low budget 1997 movie, called Mutant Swinger From Mars.
Billed under his real name, John Gillis, White plays Mikey in director Michael Kallio’s sci-fi spoof, according to TwentyFourBit.com.
White will be a familiar face on the big screen this year - he’s part of new guitar documentary It It Might Get Loud and will also be seen in White Stripes concert film Under Great White Northern Lights, which will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada in September (09).

NEW ORDER star BERNARD SUMNER has used HARVEY KEITEL’s ultra-violent movie BAD LIEUTENANT as inspiration for his new group.
The Blue Monday hitmaker has teamed up with former New Order guitarist Phil Cunningham and newcomer Jake Evans to form a band named after the 1992 film.
The trio has recorded a new album with Blur’s Alex James and Sumner’s former New Order and Joy Division drummer Stephen Morris as guests.

THE KOOKS were left fearing for their lives on Thursday (02Jul09) when their plane was struck by lightning.
The rockers were jetting from Munich, Germany, to Warsaw in Poland when their aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing when a lightning bolt hit the plane just ten-minutes after take-off.
And the terrifying ordeal has left the band spooked.
Frontman Luke Pritchard tells Britain’s The Sun newspaper, â��There was a loud crash, like someone had smashed plates, and everyone was jolted. I saw the lightning hit the side of the plane. Scary stuff, man.â�� But the incident hasn’t put the group off flying for good - the foursome caught a later flight to Warsaw.

Actor BOB HOSKINS had to risk his safety and turn stunt-man in his latest TV show - after blundering bosses hired a double who was a foot taller than him.
The Mrs Henderson Presents star stands at just five feet six inches (1.67 metres), and often has a stunt double stand in for him on set for dangerous scenes.
But he was forced to film his own stunts for BBC drama The Street, after TV chiefs accidentally hired someone too tall to emanate Hoskins.
He says, "I wound up doing my own stunts because, when the stunt man turned up, he was six foot six inches. I know how to act - it’s being bashed up that’s not such fun. I’ve done quite a few fight scenes in my time, but this one was quite tough."

MICHAEL JACKSON will be laid to rest in the same make of solid bronze casket as JAMES BROWN.
Batesville Casket Company bosses have received an order for a $25,000 (£16,600) custom casket, called The Promethean, for the late King of Pop, according to TMZ.com.
The 14-karat gold-plated casket comes with a dark blue velvet interior and a hand-polished, mirror finish.
New reports suggest the pop star’s remains will be buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning (07Jul09) before a public memorial service at the Staples Center, where Jackson was rehearsing for his comeback This Is It shows before his death last week (25Jun09).
The cemetery has refused to comment about rumoured burial plans.

MICHAEL JACKSON’s mother has been given another week as guardian of her late son’s three children.
Despite new reports suggesting the King of Pop’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe plans to fight for custody of her two children with Jackson, Prince Michael and Paris, the singer’s mother, Katherine, will remain the sole guardian of them and their brother Prince Michael II until a court hearing decides their future on 13 July (09).
In his newly-filed will the late pop superstar named his mother as his children’s guardian in the event of his death, but Rowe plans to contest that - and will be in court to challenge the Jacksons for custody.
Her former attorney, Iris Finsilver, tells People.com, "She is going to be pursuing custody of the children.
"Frankly, she won’t have to fight for them. She is the children’s biological mother. She loves her children." Katherine Jackson has also been awarded temporary control of her late son’s estate. A hearing on that will go ahead on Monday morning (06Jul09) in Los Angeles, as planned.

RIHANNA has caused an ink stink in New York after she was caught moonlighting as a tattoo artist.
The singer was spotted wielding a needle in Manhattan parlour East Side Ink on Wednesday night (01Jul09), and website TMZ.com reports that she etched umbrella designs and the letter R on three resident artists.
The session could end up costing her dear, because tattooists need a license to hold a needle in New York.
Lawmakers tell the website Rihanna could be fined almost $2,000 (GBP1,300) for the three misdemeanour offences.
A New York City Health Department Spokesperson says, "Only licensed tattoo artists can administer tattoos in the city according to the City’s Health Code. We are sending someone down to follow up on this."
