Redmond O’Neal made the shocking claim in court last week (ends17Apr09) during a hearing stemming from drug charges against him, but Stewart insists the 24 year old is mistaken.
She tells People.com, "Farrah is not 86 pounds. Redmond is young and overreacted a little. Farrah has lost weight, but not that much." POLICE: ‘PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE NOT TO BLAME FOR MADONNA HORSE FALL’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 12:27 am

Police who helped MADONNA after she fell from a horse on Saturday (18Apr09) have confirmed photographers weren’t to blame for the accident.
The singer was treated at Southampton Hospital on New York’s Long Island after taking a tumble at the home of her friend Steven Klein.
Madonna’s representative Liz Rosenberg blamed a paparazzo for the fall, claiming the snapper stunned the Material Girl’s horse when he appeared in front of her.
She said, "The accident occurred when the horse Madonna was riding was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer, who was visiting friends on Eastern Long Island over the weekend." Photographer Thomas Hinton poured scorn on the claims, insisting he was the only snapper at the scene, and left before Madonna fell.
And now local police Sgt Herbert Johnson reveals there was no mention of a photographer in the police report Madonna filed.
He tells TMZ.com, "There is no mention of photographers. It’s a matter of spin control that went out of control. If they felt there was something else, they would have written ‘paparazzi’ in the form."

MASTODON ALBUM INSPIRED BY FAMILY TRAGEDY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 12:27 am

MASTODON rocker BRANN DAILOR has dedicated the band’s new album to his beloved sister, who committed suicide more than 20 years ago.
Crack The Skye, the group’s fourth studio recording, is a direct reference to Dailor’s sibling Skye - and he reveals many of the lyrics were inspired by his emotions in the aftermath of the tragedy.
He tells Metal Hammer magazine, "My sister Skye’s suicide is something I’ve been dealing with for 20 years. I wanted to lift her up and put her name out there forever. It was the most deeply emotional moment of my life, and always with suicide there’s a lot of guilt that comes with it.
"The whole story is my metaphor for if I’d been able to come in and pick her up and save her from that situation, so yeah, it’s a sad thing but I don’t want it to be this pity party for me.
"Everybody experiences loss. At some point in your life you will lose someone near and dear to you and I’m lucky enough to have some kind of artistic platform to immortalise it, to have some kind of tribute. We owe it as artists to come from the deepest place possible; that’s art."

BUN B STILL GRIEVES FOR PIMP C

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 12:24 am

Rapper BUN B turned to author JOAN DIDION’s emotional book about the loss of her husband to help him overcome the death of his UGK bandmate PIMP C.
Pimp C, real name Chad Butler, died in December 2007 from an accidental overdose of codeine, combined with the medical condition sleep apnea, which he suffered from.
Bun B is still struggling to come to terms with the loss of his best pal, and admits he can relate to aspects of Didion’s The Year of Magical Thinking because the friendship and professional relationship he shared with Pimp C was as deep as that between a husband and wife.
He tells King magazine, "Losing your best friend is like losing a part of yourself.
"I bought Joan Didion’s book about losing her husband for my mum. I read some of the excerpts, and one was (Didion) talking about how not a day goes by where there isn’t something she wants to talk about with her husband.
"I kind of understand that. Not to say that Pimp C was my husband, by any means, but I see cars that I knew he would have loved to drive. I hear songs that he (would’ve loved) to rap on. I hear beats he would have loved to comment on.
"(I’ve) even seen women he would’ve loved to have been with at one time or another in his life. It’s just little things that I would love to talk to him about."

BANDMATES STILL STRUGGLING WITH JANE’S ADDICTION REUNION

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 12:24 am

The reunited members of JANE’S ADDICTION are struggling to get along as they plan for a summer (09) tour with NINE INCH NAILS, according to frontman PERRY FARRELL.
The group’s original line-up reformed last year (08) for a performance at the inaugural NME Awards USA in Los Angeles, where they were honoured - and they’ve been playing one-off shows ever since.
Earlier this year (09), Farrell and his bandmates announced plans to hit the road with Nine Inch Nails, but the singer doesn’t expect the tour to be all that pleasant.
Last month (Mar09), Farrell told Rolling Stone magazine the reunion was "awkward" because he and bassist Eric Avery were struggling to get along.
He said, "We’re all getting to know each other now to see if we’ve all changed for the better, if we can like each other and find common ground and ways to do things that will be successful together." But it appears mediation between the two feuding bandmates, overseen by Nine Inch Nails star Trent Reznor, has fallen through.
Speaking to Reuters at Sunday’s (19Apr09) Coachella festival, Farrell said, "I’m not going to tell you it’s been all smooches and hugs. But it shouldn’t be because that would be a bore.
"If my band didn’t have issues, if they didn’t throw tantrums, I would think I was with a bunch of suckers. As long as they can handle it, I can handle it. After all we’re just delivering music that people love, so how bad can it be? It could be worse. We could be drafted (into the military).
"I just talked to Eric man-to-man. We’re different people, that’s OK. He serves a different purpose, he’s got a different frequency he operates on. I’m overjoyed that we’re working together. I don’t care that we butt heads as long as when we hit the stage we blast on people."
