HUGH JACKMAN has ruled out having any more kids with actress wife DEBORRA LEE FURNESS - because he doesn’t think the couple could cope as the new BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE.
The Aussie pair has adopted two multi-racial children, Oscar, who is now eight, and Ava, three, but the X-Men star is determined not to have any more.
He tells America’s Parade magazine, "For Deb and me, our family is the most important thing to us, but we travel so much that we fear if we have more kids, it’ll be too much." But, just like Jolie and Pitt - who have three adopted children among their brood of six, Jackman and Furness are convinced they made the right decision to adopt the children they did.
The actor says, "Mixed-race babies have such a hard time being adopted that Deb and I checked off that box specifically when we were filling out our forms.
"Our lawyer brought the form back to us and said, ‘This is not the time to be politically correct. Are you sure this is what you want?’ We were definite about it. Adoption is about taking a baby into your home - and your heart. It’s the best thing we’ve ever done."

ROD STEWART wowed fans in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (21Apr09) when he showed up unannounced to perform with guitar great JEFF BECK during a show at the El Rey theatre.
Beck was visibly stunned when his former bandmate stepped out of the shadows and started singing along to covers of Curtis Mayfield’s People Get Ready and Willie Dixon’s I Ain’t Superstitious - a song the pair recorded together for Jeff Beck Group’s Truth album in the late 1960s.
Joss Stone also made an appearance, singing on a cover of Sly & the Family Stone’s I Want to Take You Higher.

BRITNEY SPEARS manager ADAM LEBER has blasted AMERICAN IDOL host RYAN SEACREST for sparking a rumour the pop superstar is pregnant.
Seacrest made the announcement on his Los Angeles radio show on Wednesday morning (22Apr09), insisting the pregnancy report came from "reliable source".
But Spears’ camp has squashed the rumour.
Leber tells PerezHilton.com says, "She’s absolutely not pregnant. I have no idea where this ridiculous rumour came from. Ryan has communication with our camp and could have checked this before saying it."

Superstar JENNIFER LOPEZ is urging parents to vaccinate themselves against whooping cough, warning the virus could kill kids if passed on.
The actress, mother to 14-month-old twins Max and Emme, is backing a new campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of the disease, which is easily cured among adults, but potentially deadly to infants.
She says, "They actually catch it from their parents. We can get over it but, for the baby, it can lead to death… so I got it and recommend everyone to get it."

R&B singer KEYSHIA COLE is bringing her life story to the big screen - she’s writing the screenplay for her biopic.
The star has already given fans an insight into her life with reality TV series Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is, and now she has confirmed plans for a movie project documenting her rise to fame, reports YoRaps.com.
It is not known whether Cole, who is currently preparing for an upcoming tour with Dream, Keri Hilson and Bobby Valentino, will star in the biopic.

Hitmaker and AMERICAN IDOL judge KARA DIOGUARDI has revealed she underwent treatment for a binge eating disorder.
The celebrated singer/songwriter, who has penned hits for Kylie Minogue, Celine Dion and Kelly Clarkson, among others, opened up about her painful secret during an interview with U.S. news show Extra, which will air on Thursday (22Apr09).
She said, "I’ve never spoken about this… had kind of a binge eating disorder, where instead of dealing with my emotions, I would stuff them down with food.
"I never threw up or starved myself but I went into a treatment centre for it…I would get up and eat in the middle of the night." She admits music was her salvation: "The moment I started doing music, the moment I did what I loved to do in my life and committed to it, I didn’t have those problems anymore… I have my outlet. I have that form of expression. I can go to the studio and talk about my feelings." Those feelings have become hits like Dion’s Right In Front Of You, Minogue’s Spinning Around and Escape by Enrique Iglesias.
And now the hitmaker is helping other troubled youngsters at Los Angeles treatment centre Phoenix House, by helping to fund a recording studio which is being built for residents.

PHIL SPECTOR’s biographer fears the disgraced music mogul will kill again before he is sentenced to serve jail time in May (09) - and this time the victim will be himself.
Writer Scott Raab believes the producer would rather die than spend time behind bars for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson.
The Real Hollywood Stories author insists he has spent enough time with Spector and researching his life to know what the mogul’s mindset is as he faces an 18-year prison sentence.
Raab tells Eonline.com, "He’s (Spector) an old man. (It’s) hard to see a guy like that, at his age, surrendering to an 18-year minimum sentence.
"He would kill himself first. He is full of fear, and always was, and he lives with a sense of extreme vulnerability." And Raab, who reveals Spector’s own father committed suicide, feels the judge who presided over the producer’s murder trial and retrial was determined to punish the defendant: "I do think Judge Fidler was heavy-handed in both trials. I wish the conviction had been for manslaughter." After a five-month retrial, which ended earlier this month (Apr09), Spector was found guilty of pulling the trigger of the gun which killed Clarkson at his home in Alhambra, California in 2003. The mogul and his legal team maintained throughout both trials that the actress shot herself.
Spector will be sentenced on 29 May (09).

BILLY BOB THORNTON always stops off at Amarillo steak house The Big Texan whenever he’s travelling through the state, in the hope he’ll witness a hungry diner devour a 72-ounce (2 kilogram) steak.
The Oscar winner is fascinated by the restaurant’s claim to fame - and always tries to encourage pals to take on the challenge.
He says, "We always stop in Amarillo, Texas at a place called The Big Texan, and The Big Texan has this 72-ounce steak… It’s pretty frightening.
"If you eat the whole thing… and you have to eat the sides also, which means a baked potato, a roll, a salad and a shrimp cocktail… you get it free.
"They’ve had, like, 70-something thousand people try and 8,000 people have actually done it." Thornton thought his dream of witnessing a big eat would be realised when a roadie and security guard for his band The Boxmasters recently challenged each other to a steak challenge.
He explains, "They were at each other all week about this steak and they’re gonna challenge each other and we were all excited - we’re betting on them. And we get in there and they just had dinner and it was pretty boring… We just sat there and watched these guys eat for an hour."

Little CRUZ BECKHAM won’t have to worry about a summer wardrobe this year (09) thanks to the bosses of trendy T-shirt first Worn Free - they’ve sent the tot a bundle of vintage tops after spotting the youngster wearing one of their items in a park.
The Beckhams were among the first celebrities to land sample Worn Free kids T-shirts and their stylish mum was so impressed with the designs she dressed Cruz in one for a spring day at the park.
And when the company’s bosses spotted pictures of the kid at Coldwater Canyon Park in their vintage Flying Burrito Brothers T-shirt, they put a package together so Cruz and his brothers Brooklyn and Romeo could wear Worn Free all summer.
Company boss Steve Coe says, "Worn Free scored a goal of their own with the Beckhams, it really demonstrates the strength of the brand." The T-shirts are all replicas of ones worn by film and music icons like John Lennon, Joey Ramone, Deborah Harry and Frank Zappa - and come with photos of the stars wearing them.

HEIDI MONTAG and SPENCER PRATT’s Pasadena, California wedding will be another fake ceremony, according to U.S. reports.
The Hills stars staged a bogus ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in November (08) and now they’re doing it again.
Sources tell In Touch magazine that Saturday’s (25Apr09) wedding at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena is nothing more than a phony ceremony for the series finale of The Hills.
An insider tells the publication, "It’s all set up by the producers of MTV to get people to watch. It’s just a plot line. They’re not really getting married." The magazine reports the wedding will be staged on a closed set with the entire The Hills cast in attendance.
Meanwhile, new reports suggest Montag will wear a dress designed by Monique Lhuillier for the big day and she’ll be dripping in more than $1 million (£690,000) of on-loan jewellery. Her sister, Holly Montag, will serve as maid of honour with Pratt’s sister Stephanie as her bridesmaid.
The reception will reportedly be held at Wolfgang Puck’s Cut steakhouse in Beverly Hills.

HUGH JACKMAN insists he can’t win when it comes to rumours about his sexuality - because he isn’t gay, but doesn’t want fans to think there’s anything shameful about same sex couples.
The Australia star has been dismissing the reports for years - and simply wishes they’d go away.
He addresses the ongoing saga in the upcoming issue of Parade magazine, stating, "I’d be happy to go and deny it, because I’m not (gay). But, by denying it, I’m saying there is something shameful about it, and there isn’t anything shameful." The married father of two adopted kids only hears the rumours about his sexuality when he’s in America: "The questions about sexuality I find more here in America than anywhere else, because it’s a big hang-up and defines what people think about themselves and others. It’s not a big issue in Australia."

Actress SALMA HAYEK is reportedly making plans to remarry new husband FRANCOIS-HENRI PINAULT in Italy this weekend (25Apr09).

Jailed former PRISON BREAK star LANE GARRISON has reached a financial settlement with the family of the teenager who was killed when he crashed his car in 2006.
Garrison pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of alcohol after Vahagn Setian was killed and two 15-year-old girls were injured in the drink and drug-fuelled California crash.
The actor was jailed for 40 months in October 2007 and Setian’s parents have since launched a civil suit against him.
They were joined by crash survivor Michelle Ohana, who spent two months in a wheelchair following the accident.
Now Garrison has agreed a financial settlement with the Setian family and Ohana. The amount of money paid out has not been disclosed, reports TMZ.com.
The actor was ferrying the teenagers home after a Hollywood party when he lost control of his vehicle.

Pop star-turned-AMERICAN IDOL judge PAULA ABDUL has hit back at new reports she’s often high or drunk on TV, insisting she just falls asleep easily.
The tired Straight Up singer has fought rumours about her sobriety ever since she appeared to be drunk on a TV news show last year (08), slurring her words and appearing to be out of it.
And the negative press didn’t end there - thanks, in part, to bizarre appearances on Idol and her reality TV show Hey Paula, during which she appeared to struggle to stay awake during some scenes.
She tells WENN, "Firstly, I’ve never been drunk in my life, I don’t like it (alcohol). It’s not my thing. Spending money on clothes and shoes that’s another thing.
"And you can check my medical records, I was never on (painkillers) Oxycontin or Vicadin or anything like that. I was on nerve medicine and anti-inflammatories (for a neck injury she suffered in 1992)." But she understands how certain behaviour patterns have fuelled the rumours about her: "Because I’m falling asleep and a camera is on me."
