KISS guitarist PAUL STANLEY is set to launch his own wine - and is auctioning off the first bottles out of the barrel for charity.
Stanley has been working with wine guru pal Andrew Roper to create his own range - The Paul Stanley Collection - which will be available in selected restaurants and casinos in America next year (10).
And Stanley decided his first wines will be donated to the Red Cross, which has helped the victims of the recent bushfires in Australia.
Roper tells Blabbermouth.net, "These wines will be fantastic collectables for years to come. It is only fitting that we use the international and popular status of Paul Stanley as well as one of Australia’s great boutique wine producers, to create interest to attract bidders to raise as much as we can." The Paul Stanley Collection wines will be a small production of around one hundred cases, and will be produced from the Barossa Valley in Australia.
Stanley is the latest in a long line of celebrities to launch a wine - following in the footsteps of the cast of The Sopranos, Martha Stewart and Paul Newman.

COURTNEY LOVE has lined up a new business venture - the rocker is set to launch her own lingerie store in Hollywood.
The former Hole frontwoman has teamed up with legendary photographer David LaChapelle, who will provide financial backing.
And the pair has already found a location for the shop on Los Angeles’ Sunset Boulevard, according to British newspaper the Sunday Mirror.
A source tells the publication, "They plan to launch it in the summer with a big party."

Pop superstar PRINCE had credited school bullies with sparking his interest in music - because the singer began to learn piano as a means of escape.
The Purple Rain hitmaker admits that when he was a youngster, his tormentors left him isolated from other kids.
And to fill his time, he began teaching himself how to play his father’s instruments.
He says, "The first thing I did is I went into myself and I taught myself music. My father left his piano at the house when he left and I wasn’t allowed to play it when he was there because I wasn’t as good as him so when he left I was determined to get as good as him.
"I taught myself how to play music and I just stuck with it and I did it all the time." And Prince is convinced the local bullies spurred him on to become a great musician - because he was determined to earn their respect.
He adds, "Sooner or later people in the neighbourhood heard about me and they started to talk about me and it wasn’t in the teasing fashion, it was more like, ‘Wow look what he can do…’ Once I got that support from people I believed I could do anything."

Actor MICHAEL KEATON is hobbling around on crutches after breaking his foot in a mystery accident.
The former Batman star revealed his injury during an appearance on David Letterman’s Late Show on Friday (24Apr09).
Keaton refused to reveal the real cause of the break, just saying, "I don’t want to make a big deal about it. I broke my foot." Instead the pair pretended he had hurt himself rescuing kids from a fire. Letterman screened a fake newscast by broadcaster Anderson Cooper, that claimed: "Michael Keaton broke his foot rescuing twelve children from a burning orphanage."

GORE VERBINSKI’s new movie has become the latest victim of the global economic crisis - movie bosses have halted BIOSHOCK amid a wave of reported redundancies and budget cuts.
The director was set to begin filming the picture - based on the bestselling videogame - in Los Angeles later this year (09).
But executives at Universal Pictures have put the project on hold and let members of the production team go after budget estimates soared to over $160 million (£110 million).
Verbinski is now looking for a new location for the movie in a bid to cut costs - and producers are eyeing London as a possible setting for the underwater action adventure.
He tells Variety, "We were asked by Universal to move the film outside the U.S. to take advantage of a tax credit. We are evaluating whether this is something we want to do. In the meantime, the film is in a holding pattern." The film - rumoured to be starring Prison Break actor Wentworth Miller - was scheduled for release in 2010.

Officials at animal rights group People for The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have paid tribute to late GOLDEN GIRLS star BEA ARTHUR, who died on Saturday (25Apr09).
The actress was a tireless campaigner for PETA and became an honorary director for the organisation.
PETA Senior Vice President Dan Mathews says, "People have lost one of the greatest comic actresses of all time, and animals have lost one of their all-time greatest defenders. She will be missed." Arthur campaigned against the force-feeding of ducks in the foie gras trade, travelling to London with PETA founder Ingrid E. Newkirk, where she called on Harrods bosses to stop selling the pate.
Arthur also called for a boycott of KFC until the fast food chain’s chiefs improved the way it raises and kills its chickens.
She also campaigned against animal experimentation, spoke out about the abuse of animals on factory farms, and was a vocal opponent of the use of exotic animals in circuses.
The actress lost her battle with cancer at her Los Angeles home on Saturday (25Apr09).

KENNETH BRANAGH has walked away with his first producing honour, beating out DOCTOR WHO to land the Best Drama trophy for his series WALLANDER at the British Academy Television Awards.
Branagh, who also stars as the eponymous police inspector in the TV show, won the coveted award at a star-studded ceremony in London on Sunday night (27Apr09).

KEVIN COSTNER and his band MODERN WEST were unlikely tent fillers during the first day of the Stagecoach country music festival in California on Saturday (25Apr09) by rocking fans with tunes and heartfelt messages to the struggling and unemployed.
The Oscar winner dedicated one track, Five Minutes From America, to the people of Louisiana, where he was filming when Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005.
Costner won applause from the crowd when he recalled the decision he made to continue filming, rather than relocate: "These people had lost their homes; they didn’t need to lose their jobs too." His wife Christine and young son Cayden offered him a little family support from the side of the stage.
The actor faced a tough challenge in the Palomino Tent - he was on after longtime country music sweetheart Lynn Anderson, who thrilled the audience with hits like Rose Garden and Ride, Ride, Ride.
All this was long before the Charlie Daniels Band headlined the tent line-up on Saturday night. Highlights on the festival’s ‘mane’ stage were Brad Paisley, who teamed up with Taylor Swift, Bill Anderson, Dierks Bentley and Little Jimmy Dickens "via satellite" on his Celebrity hit.
The quartet competed in a game of ‘Guitar Zero’ on a big screen behind the singer.
Paisley was also joined onstage by Alison Krauss for a rendition of their hit duet Whisky Lullaby.
He made no mention of his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley or his new baby boy, Jasper, who was born a week ago, during his headlining set.

Ageing rocker RONNIE WOOD is reportedly planning to marry his young lover EKATERINA IVANOVA - news which has devastated his estranged wife Jo.
The Rolling Stones star, 61, split from his partner of 23 years in July (08), after his affair with 20-year-old Russian waitress Ivanova was exposed in the press.
Just last month (Mar09) his wife declared the divorcing duo are still great friends.
But a pal tells British tabloid the Sunday Mirror that Jo is no longer talking to her estranged husband as she was hoping the pair would eventually get back together.
The pal says, "Jo is devastated and now knows there is no turning back.
"Ronnie wants the divorce to be settled as soon as possible so he can marry Kat. Jo always believed this was just a silly fling but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Police in Britain have launched an investigation after hundreds of AC/DC fans fell victim to a ticket scam which saw them turned away from a concert in Birmingham, England.
Hundreds of people were unable to access the rockers’ gig at the LG arena on Friday (24Apr09) night, with many arriving to collect their tickets from the box office only to be informed they had been scammed by counterfeiters.
Fans holding legitimate tickets were also caught up in the chaos as massive queues formed outside the venue - meaning many missed the start of the show by over an hour.
Police arrested two men at the scene on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud. An investigation into the internet arm of the deception is ongoing.

EAGLES star TIMOTHY B. SCHMIDT’s dreams of a POCO reunion at the Stagecoach festival in California have been wrecked by a dog bite.
The singer/songwriter was set to perform with the folk rockers on Sunday (26Apr09) for the first time in more than 30 years, but it looks as if his appearance will be limited to just that - an appearance.
A source says, "He may not be playing bass as he was bitten by a dog on his right hand." But the injury won’t prevent Schmidt from joining his old bandmates onstage.
He’ll be donating his performance fee to former Poco star George Grantham, who is struggling to cover his medical insurance after suffering a severe stroke.
The Stagecoach Poco reunion comes a year after band leader Richie Furay attempted to reform the group - but his hip replacement surgery wrecked plans.
He says, "The Stagecoach people wanted us to do it a year ago, but it wasn’t possible." Now, rather than stage a simple reunion, Furay plans to hit the stage with every former member of his band.
He says, "I think it’s great to do it this way. I’m just amazed that, after dropping out, I was able to come back. I’m excited." Furay turned his back on the music industry in the mid-1970s to devote his attention to his faith - he is a pastor in Colorado.

MILEY CYRUS is fuming at the "stupid" rumours she wants to ditch boyfriend JUSTIN GASTON and reunite with NICK JONAS - insisting it’s possible to be friends with an ex.

Former CAPTAIN KIRK star WILLIAM SHATNER has dismissed rumours of a feud with the cast of the new STAR TREK movie, insisting there’s no bad blood.
The veteran star was upset when director J.J. Abrams refused to include him in the new movie, choosing instead to recast the roles made famous by Shatner, Leonard Nimoy and DeForest Kelley.
But Shatner is adamant any tension was a joke, and wishes his successor as Kirk - actor Chris Pine - the best of luck.

Actor CAMPBELL SCOTT is planning a summer wedding with new fiancee KATHLEEN MCELFRISH.

The mother of SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE star RUBINA ALI has blasted her ex-husband over allegations he attempted to sell the nine-year-old.
Rafiq Qureshi was quizzed by police in Mumbai, India earlier this week (20Apr09) after British newspaper News of the World alleged he offered to auction off the nine-year-old for $300,000 (£200,000).
He was subsequently released without charge due to lack of evidence, according to local authorities.
Rubina’s mother Khursheed, who abandoned the family in 2001, claimed she learned of the alleged sale two weeks ago and alerted cops to investigate.
She has now spoken out about the alleged incident - branding her ex-husband "evil" and accusing him and his new wife of turning the tiny actress against her.
She says, "Rafiq is evil. He should be jailed for what he has done. When I saw Rubina this week she accused me of abandoning her. But that is not true, she has been brainwashed." Qureshi protested his innocence throughout the scandal, telling People.com the story was a "lie made up by foreign journalists playing games with me".

JAMIE LYNN SPEARS’ boyfriend CASEY ALDRIDGE has been hospitalised after a car accident in Louisiana.
The 20-year-old was rushed to the emergency room after the incident in the early hours of Sunday (26Apr09).
Police have charged him with careless operation of a vehicle, according to People.com.
A family friend tells the website that Aldridge suffered a cracked skull and has been "in and out" of consciousness, but adds: "It’s not as serious as we thought at first." Spears rushed to be by her boyfriend’s side at the University of Mississippi Medical Center following news of the crash.

The couple shocked the world in 2007 when it was announced Britney’s little sister was pregnant at the age of 16. Last summer (08) she gave birth to a baby daughter, Maddie.
