WELCH PLANS A RETURN TO THE ROAD
Former KORN star BRIAN ‘HEAD’ WELCH will be testing his faith and sobriety on the road in America this summer (09) with a string of border shows in New Mexico and Texas.
The heavy rock star quit Korn after becoming a born-again Christian and chose to give up a hedonistic life on the road and take charge of his substance abuse demons.
Now, after years spent away from the music scene, Welch is heading out on his first solo U.S. tour in support of his debut album, Save Me From Myself.
Dates begin next month (May09).
He tells WENN, "It’s all good to me because I haven’t been on stage in over four years. Me and the guys are ready to kill it this summer."
