FAWCETT’S REP: ‘FARRAH’S CONDITION REMAINS UNCHANGED’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:33 pm

Cancer-stricken star FARRAH FAWCETT has spoken out to quell rumours her health is rapidly deteriorating after her incarcerated son was granted special leave at the weekend to visit his sick mother.
The Charlie’s Angels actress is resting at longterm partner Ryan O’Neal’s Malibu, California home following her recent hospitalisation for internal bleeding, which was not directly related to her battle with anal cancer.
Redmond O’Neal, Fawcett’s son with Ryan, is currently being held behind bars in Los Angeles after violating his probation stemming from his 2008 conviction for driving under the influence (DUI).
But on Friday (24Apr09), a judge granted the 24-year-old’s request to leave the facility for a short period, and Redmond was given a police escort to his dad’s beachfront property on Saturday (25Apr09), where he spent three hours with ailing Fawcett.
The visit sparked fresh fears the actress was losing her fight with cancer because the brief trip allegedly cost Redmond’s family $1,300 (£895) - and is only usually granted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to inmates who have gravely ill relatives.
New reports surfaced on Tuesday (28Apr09) alleging Fawcett had taken a turn for the worse and relatives were "staying by her side", according to RadarOnline.com.
However, Fawcett’s spokesman Arnold Robinson has dismissed the claims and insists the 62-year-old’s condition remains "unchanged".
