MARIAH CAREY has been inundated with Twitter.com messages from a man pretending to be her husband NICK CANNON - after the impostor took charge of the rapper/actor’s old account.
Cannon, who celebrates his first wedding anniversary with Carey on 30 April (09), decided to change the name of his profile on the social networking site - but he soon found out that his old account was being used by a hoaxer to contact the Hero hitmaker.
He says, "I switched my account name over to @NickCannon on Twitter recently and I just found out my old name @NickCannon4Real is now being used by an impostor. The fake is even sending messages to my wife. Hilarious."

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star EVA LONGORIA PARKER is making plans to move to France.
The actress has confirmed that she and her basketball star husband Tony Parker plan to call his native France their home base when his sports career is over and Desperate Housewives is no more.
She tells U.S. news show Extra, "Tony and I will be moving to France after Desperate Housewives. Actually after his basketball career."

The manufacturers of LL COOL J’s high end fashion line have dismissed reports the rapper’s clothing label is set to fold.
The hip-hop star’s luxury clothing brand was launched in U.S. department store Sears last May (08), but the signature apparel range had reportedly failed to sell as well as intended, prompting reports it was to be removed from shelves and hangers.
But a spokesman for Sears insists there is no truth to the allegations.
Representative Tom Aiello tells WENN, "Sears values its partnership with LL Cool J and will continue its commitment to providing the LL Cool J collection to its customers, both in-store and online.
"The collection is characterised as affordable, iconic apparel for the family and represents an important breakout brand in Sears’ wide assortment of tees (T-shirts), denim and hoodies."

HUGH JACKMAN is hiding a secret stash of nude footage cut from his new movie X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE.
While shooting the X-Men prequel, Jackman had to perform several stunts in the nude.
After his more intimate areas were hidden for the final cut, director Gavin Hood handed Jackman the X-rated extras for his own personal use.
The actor explains, "Our director gave me a little bag and inside it were about eight bits of film, all cut (from the movie). I said, ‘That’s interesting,’ then I held it up to the light and I said, ‘OK, now I know why that’s in a bag!’" And he has vowed to keep the raunchy clips safely stashed away: "Now it’s in my safe somewhere. My privates in a bag."

PARIS HILTON’s boyfriend DOUG REINHARDT fought off a man he caught trying to grope the socialite in a Los Angeles nightclub on Monday night (27Apr09).
The pair were partying with actress Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren when the drunk clubber made a grab for Hilton’s breasts, reports UsMagazine.com.
A witness tells the site, "Doug protected his lady and pushed the guy. That’s when all of Doug’s boys stepped in and beat the c**p out of the guy. Then Doug had security kick him out of the club." But, when approached for a comment, Reinhardt’s rep denied all knowledge of the incident, insisting, "Doug was not involved in a fight last night."

SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS’ boy band DAY26 stunned fans at an Atlanta, Georgia high school, when they showed up to raise awareness about domestic violence against young women.
The group stopped by McNair High School earlier this month (Apr09) to chat to youngsters about the issues facing females in abusive relationships, and how to steer clear of violence as part of the Saving Our Daughters campaign.
Tequilla Whitfield, Artist Program Director/Mentor, says, "They really took their time to explain just how special young women are and I know that the ladies took every word in." Day26 will continue their support for the drive with a number of other discussions in select schools across the U.S.

Hindu scholars are calling on Grammy Awards bosses to add a new category for traditional Indian music at the annual prizegiving.
Officials at the Universal Society of Hinduism are urging Grammy bosses to include kirtan as a field for future awards shows, beginning in 2010.
Hindu statesman and USH leader Rajan Zed says, "In 2009, there were Grammys awarded in 110 music categories, covering 32 fields, including pop, rock, rap, country, new age, gospel, jazz, folk, world music, Hawaiian, Latin, reggae and blues, and we now think Indian music should be included.
"Kirtan is attracting large audiences in USA and Canada, and many other countries of the world, resulting in various new albums and creation of star kirtan artists…. There should be Favorite Kirtan Artist of the Year award at the Grammys.
"The powerful healing and transformational energies of these ancient chants in help to calm and focus the mind… It’s a sacred and spiritual experience that takes one to the state of deep meditation."

Rocker BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN and his bandmate wife PATTI SCIALFA put their love on display during a duet onstage at a benefit in New York on Monday night (27Apr09) by sharing a rare kiss.
The couple is known for keeping its relationship purely professional onstage, but, following recent allegations Springsteen cheated on his wife with a member of his New Jersey gym, the pair showed a united front at a gala to honour Tom Hanks.
Just days after Scialfa missed a concert after falling from a horse, and weeks after Springsteen was named in divorce proceedings by a husband who claims the singer slept with his wife, the couple kissed before duetting on Streets of Philadelphia, the song Springsteen wrote for Hanks 1993 movie Philadelphia.
As he introduced Scialfa onto the stage, the rocker said, "May I bring out my lovely wife?" before kissing her warmly on the lips.
Springsteen has denied any involvement in the divorce, maintaining his and his wife’s "commitment to one another remains as strong as the day we were married."

Actor RICKY SCHRODER picked up a ticket for chatting on his cellphone as he drove away from a courthouse following a legal victory.
The star won a legal battle with a woman who accused him of stealing tools from her - but his celebration was short lived.
Alice Roberts claimed the 24 star conspired with her ex-boyfriend to take tools worth $7,000 (GBP4,965) from her Malibu, California home.
Schroder and his friend, plumber Brent Black, countersued, accusing Roberts of suing out of revenge, and dragging the actor into the mess unnecessarily.
And a Malibu small claims court found in their favour on Tuesday (28Apr09), reports TMZ.com.
But it wasn’t all good news for Schroder - after leaving the courthouse and celebrating in front of photographers, the actor jumped in his car, drove off and was pulled over by cops for using a cellphone while driving.

CHRIS NOTH will be back as Mr, Big in the SEX & THE CITY: THE MOVIE sequel after coming to terms with producers over his film deal.
Noth recently revealed he was still "in negotiations" with producers to reprise his role, even though filming on the sequel started in March (09).
But his co-star and on-screen partner Sarah Jessica Parker tells E! News the actor will definitely be back to play her husband on the big screen.
The actor has admitted he has big plans for his character when he does reprise his role: "I want him to travel the world. I think he and (Parker’s character) Carrie (Bradshaw) should go to Bali." But Parker insists producers have yet to tell the pair how the plot will unfold.
She says, "I don’t know anything yet."

The swine flu epidemic is wrecking the romance on HEIDI MONTAG and SPENCER PRATT’s Mexican "pre-honeymoon" - because they’re having to wear masks every time they leave their hotel.

Soccer superstar DAVID BECKHAM has signed a deal to launch his own line of menswear with sports brand Adidas.
The sports star has partnered with Undefeated sneaker boutique owner James Bond for the fall-winter men’s line, Originals by Originals.
The line will be an update of classic American sportswear and accessories with footwear, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

LL COOL J’s luxury clothing line is folding just one year after its launch following poor sales.
The hip-hop icon teamed up with U.S. department store Sears to stock his signature apparel range last May (08), but the line suffered from the global credit crunch and prices were dramatically slashed in February (09) in a bid to shift items.

HUGH JACKMAN has vowed to travel to swine flu-affected Mexico to premiere his new movie in the country, as soon as officials give him the all clear.
The Mexico City screening of X-Men Origins: Wolverine on Wednesday (29Apr09) was cancelled because of an outbreak of swine flu in the capital.
All tourists are being advised to stay away, and studio bosses refused to risk Jackman’s health by jetting him in.
But the Aussie star has vowed to return as soon as it’s safe to.
He tells Usmagazine.com, "I’m a movie fan, I love movies, but they’re just movies at the end of the day - and there are other things that are way more important, such as people’s safety.
"It’s very tragic what’s going on down there…I’m worried for them.
"The government and local officials closed (the premiere down) because they’re obviously closing theatres.
"As soon as they open it up and as soon as it’s safe for people to go out and see movies again, we’ll go back down there."
