MAYER & STONE JOIN BECK
Guitar great JEFF BECK had more surprises in store at his second El Rey Theatre concert in as many days when JOHN MAYER and JOSS STONE joined him onstage.
Former Jeff Beck Group bandmate Rod Stewart stunned the musician with an appearance on Tuesday night (21Apr09) and Mayer was on hand to play guest on Wednesday (22Apr09).
British singer Stone, who performed a rousing rendition of Sly & The Family Stone’s I Want To Take You Higher on Tuesday, stepped up onstage for an another encore on Wednesday.
Mayer joined the recent Rock & Roll Hall of Fame two-time inductee, for a soulful rendition of Manic Depression.
