AUTOPSY: ROCKER MARTIN DIED FROM A HARDENING OF THE ARTERIES
An autopsy has determined that former BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD star DEWEY MARTIN died from a hardening of the arteries.
The drummer was found dead by his roommate in his Van Nuys, California apartment on 1 February (09). He was 68.
Born Walter Milton Dwayne Midkiff, Martin was a session player for Patsy Kline, Roy Orbison and the Everly Brothers in Nashville, Tennessee, before joining Neil Young’s iconic Los Angeles band in the mid-1960s.
He sang Buffalo Springfield’s Good Time Boy and provided backing vocals on the group’s hit For What It’s Worth.
