MADONNA’s former nanny has spoken out about her life with the superstar after private comments on her Facebook.com page were exposed to the world.
Angela Jacobsen quit her job caring for Madonna’s adopted three-year-old son David Banda earlier this month (Apr09).
Shortly before she left the singer’s employ, Jacobsen posted comments on her Facebook page appearing to complain about working for Madonna.
She wrote, "Not putting up (with) this s**t any more. Never have, never will. Standing up for my rights regardless of consequence. Sick of always being the one who compromises." The messages fuelled rumours the 29-year-old was sacked or had quit her job because she was unhappy working for the Material Girl.
But Jacobsen has appeared on a TV show in her native Australia to set the record straight.
She insisted the Facebook comments were "not about Madonna" and she quit the job voluntarily.
Jacobsen has told TV show Today Tonight, "I wasn’t referring to Madonna. That was something that was written in privacy. Unfortunately the settings were changed on my Facebook and the public were able to see private comments and photos.
She adds of her life with Madonna, "I was on call 24 hours a day. There wasn’t any television in the house and we all had the same diet, a macrobiotic diet. And we all ate kosher because of the Kabbalah. Like any job, there are boundaries and routines that you have to follow. We saw eye to eyes on those." And she urges the public not to believe everything they read about the star: "She’s a fantastic mother, very loving and caring. From being inside the bubble, you know the truth, so you have different spin on all the media you read and see." And Jacobsen insists it’s a "shame" Madonna’s bid to adopt Malawian three year old Mercy James was blocked by court officials, adding, "I’m disappointed. It’s a shame. It would have been a great opportunity for the other little girl; she would have been well looked after and it would have been great for David to have a sister from Malawi." Madonna adopted little David from Malawi in 2006.

ZAC EFRON is hooked on time travelling and dreams of taking on MICHAEL J. FOX’s role in a new BACK TO THE FUTURE movie.
In his new film 17 Again, Efron’s character - played as an adult by Matthew Perry - is struck by lightning and becomes a teenager again.
And now he’s keen to take on the the ultimate time travel adventure by recreating Fox’s Marty McFly character in a fourth instalment of the hit film franchise.
Efron reveals, "Growing up, my favourite thing to do was to climb into the car and play Back To the Future. I would pretend I was Marty McFly." Fox last played McFly in 1990’s Back to the Future Part III.
Efron recently pulled out of revisiting another classic movie, Footloose.

Singer FERGIE had an Easter Monday (13Apr09) to remember when she performed for the U.S. President BARACK OBAMA and his family.
The pop star belted out the National Anthem and her hits Big Girls Don’t Cry, Glamorous and Fergalicious on the White House lawn as part of the First Family’s Easter weekend celebrations.
Joining reggae star Ziggy Marley for the special concert, the newlywed singer called the Obamas her "new friends" and told reporters the mini-gig was "unbelievable," adding, "It was one of the most amazing moments of my life."

KYLIE MINOGUE has joined kids’ supergroup THE WIGGLES for a bizarre new rendition of TOOTS & THE MAYTALS’ ska classic MONKEY MAN.
The pop superstar even dons a red Wiggles T-shirt to appear in a colourful video of the tune, which has been recorded for The Wiggles’ new album The Wiggles Go Bananas.
She’s not the first big star to cover the classic tune recently - Amy Winehouse performed the track for the soundtrack of Run Fatboy Run.

Rocker PERRY FARRELL reformed both his hit bands PORNO FOR PYROS and JANE’S ADDICTION to celebrate his 50th birthday party in Las Vegas at the weekend (11Apr09).
Almost two weeks after Farrell turned 50 (29Mar09), he threw a star-studded Perrypalooza birthday bash at Bare in Las Vegas.

LEANN RIMES has vowed to remain tight-lipped about the scandal surrounding her alleged affair with married co-star EDDIE CIBRIAN - insisting she’d rather "let people believe" what they read.
The pair, who co-starred in romantic TV movie Northern Lights, sparked rumours they were cheating on their spouses last month (Mar09) after leaked security camera footage showed them enjoying an intimate dinner together in California.
As well as holding hands, the pair was seen kissing in the damning video.
Rimes and Cibrian have both dismissed reports they are romantically linked, and now the Blue singer insists she won’t be talking about the gossip anymore, stating she’s tired of addressing rumours she cheated on her husband of seven years, dancer Dean Sheremet.
She says, "It’s something that I hate going back and forth in the press about. I’m not going to do it because it hurts my loved ones, it hurts me, and I’m just not discussing it.
"I’ve been around long enough… Let people believe what they’re going to believe."

Author SALMAN RUSHDIE’s ex-wife PADMA LAKSHMI has stripped off for a new magazine spread.
The TV chef, actresses Eliza Dushku and Lynn Collins and comic Chelsea Handler are baring almost all for Allure magazine’s annual naked issue.
Lakshmi shows off the scar on her arm, which she was left with after a car accident, in the photos.
She says, "I love it because it makes me a person who has an interesting past, and it reminds me that I can survive any pain."

Music producer PHIL SPECTOR will learn his fate within hours - the jurors overseeing his murder retrial have reached a verdict.
Jury members have been deliberating the case at Los Angeles Superior Court on and off since 26 March (09).
Spector is charged with the murder of actress Lana Clarkson, who died from a gunshot wound in the foyer of his Alhambra, California mansion in 2003.
The mogul maintains his guest shot herself.
Spector’s first trial ended in 2007 with a jury deadlock. The majority favoured conviction.

Beloved U.S. sportscaster HARRY KALAS has died after collapsing in the press box at Nationals Stadium, Washington, D.C. on Monday (13Apr09).
Kalas was at the stadium preparing for the baseball clash between World Series champions the Philadelphia Phillies and the Washington Nationals.
The cause of death has not been announced.
The Phillies/Nationals game went ahead, but the Phillies have called off a trip to meet President Barack Obama at the White House on Tuesday (14Apr09) so players and staff can mourn the late radio legend.
Kalas, who turned 73 on 26 March (09), has been the voice of the Phillies since 1971. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2002 as the recipient of the Ford C. Frick Award.
As well as covering games for the Phillies, Kalas also fronted National Football League radio broadcasts by Westwood One and narrated for NFL Films.

Model and movie star FABIO wrecked a borrowed Ferrari after the brakes reportedly failed during a Saturday afternoon (11Apr09) drive in the Hollywood Hills.
The romance icon, who appeared as himself in the films Zoolander and Dude, Where’s My Car?, lost control of the $300,000 (GBP214,300) vehicle as he attempted to navigate a curve on Mulholland Drive.
Fabio, real name Fabio Lanzoni, was driving the Ferrari Scaglietti as part of an event organised by World Class Driving.
The star was unhurt in the crash and no other vehicle was involved.
A statement from WCD reads, "We are not very proud of the fact that Fabio wrecked our car." Fabio has yet to comment about the crash.

Adult film icon MARILYN CHAMBERS has died at her mobile home in Santa Clarita, California. She was 57.
The body of the actress, famous for her roles in movies Insatiable and Behind the Green Door and the Electric Blue series of erotic films, was discovered on Sunday (12Apr09) by her daughter.
Besides her porn career, Chambers, real name Marilyn Ann Taylor, starred in David Cronenberg’s 1977 horror film Rabid and her image was immortalised on boxes of Ivory Snow detergent - a modelling job she gave up to become a porn star.
An autopsy is due to be carried out to establish a cause of death, but foul play was not suspected.

Actor JASON PRIESTLEY and his make-up artist wife NAOMI LOWDE are expecting their second child.
The pair was spotted shopping over the weekend, with Lowde sporting what appeared to be a baby bump - and the actor’s publicist has confirmed the happy news to UsMagazine.com.
The new addition will be a little brother or sister for their 21-month-old daughter, Ava Veronica.
Priestley, 39, married Lowde in a star-studded Bahamas wedding in May 2005.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL star ZAC EFRON turned on his teenage fans during his guest host stint on U.S. comedy show SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE at the weekend (11Apr09).
The 21-year old singer/actor has amassed a huge teenage following thanks to the hit Disney franchise.
But he poked fun at his underage devotees while presenting the popular late night show.
During his opening monologue, Efron said, "Tonight is very important to me because I get to reach out to a with new audience.
"But first, if you don’t mind, I’d like to say something first to the fans who brought me here. Hey tweens, Zac Efron here. I just wanted to take a moment in the show to say hi to you guys. And by guys, I mean girls. Because let’s face it, tweens, I owe you big time. If it weren’t for you, I’d just be some random college student instead of a college-aged man pretending to be a high school student.
"Plus, I want to thank you for the financial support. True, your parents gave me that money. But you gave me something even more valuable: your attention. THE SMITHS drummer MIKE JOYCE has paid tribute to British musician JOHNNY ROADHOUSE, who died at the weekend (11Apr09).
Roadhouse, who lost a short battle with illness on Saturday at the age of 88, played saxophone for the likes of Sir Elton John, before setting up his own music store in The Smiths’ native Manchester, England.
And Joyce has hailed Roadhouse as an icon and inspiration for musicians and music fans alike.
He tells NME.com, "Music shops come and go, but Johnny Roadhouse stays. It’s synonymous with Manchester music."

PROCUL HARUM classic A WHITER SHADE OF PALE is the most played UK song of the last 75 years, according to a new BBC chart.
Radio 2 researchers discovered the 1967 track has been played more in public places than any other song.
Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody came in second followed by the Everly Brothers’ All I Have to do is Dream.
Procul Harum’s Gary Brooker says of his song’s chart-topping achievement, "It’s a great and unsought honour.

WYCLEF JEAN is bidding to rejuvenate the economy in his native Haiti, by turning the poverty-stricken country into a tourism mecca.
The Caribbean country was a popular resort before the corrupt regimes of François ‘Papa Doc’ Duvalier and his son Jean-Claude ‘Baby Doc’ devastated the nation and drove thousands to flee.
Jean has played an important role in rejuvenating the nation; in 2005 he founded the Yele Haiti Foundation which provides school scholarship for underprivileged kids.
And he’s now setting his sights on attracting visitors back to the country.
He tells Hip Hop Weekly, "I’ve got a lot of land out there. I’m trying to bring back the hotel resorts to Haiti and create jobs, ’cause back in the day, Haiti was poppin’ with (resort company) Club Meds and everything."

Late rock legend DUANE ALLMAN had to be held back from attacking ROBERT PLANT the first time LED ZEPPELIN performed in the U.S. - because he was disgusted with the band’s ‘ballet-like’ stage routine.
The Allman Brothers were huge fans of the British band’s music and were thrilled to be on the same bill during Led Zeppelin’s first American tour back in 1969.
But they fell out of love when they saw frontman Plant rocking out in velvet trousers.
Allman Brothers drummer Butch Trucks tells Relix magazine, "Robert Plant starts running all over the stage with his velvet pants on, and we were all looking at each other, (like) ‘What the f**k is this?’ "It was as much about the ballet and the costumes as about the music, if not more so… Duane got up and said, ‘I’m either going to go up there and kick the f**k out of that guy or we’re leaving.’ And we all got up and left. It just infuriated Duane. He was so let down by one of his gods." Allman died in 1971.

Hip-hop star WYCLEF JEAN is so powerful in his native Haiti, a political group once hatched a plot to assassinate him.
The former Fugees star moved to the United States with his family when he was just nine years old, but since finding fame he has returned often and established charitable groups to aid the poverty-stricken country.
And while his work has made him a iconic figure in among Haitian citizens, it’s alienated him from certain powerful figures.
Jean refuses to reveal who plotted to kill him, but tells Hip Hop Weekly, "They had a plot to assassinate me, but it obviously didn’t go down. I take what I do very seriously, but I fear nothing… except my mamma." He adds, "Before I touch the ground in Haiti, I know everything that’s going on. From the slums to everywhere. Everybody fears me that wants to take the power ’cause in their minds they think I wanna be president and they know that I would win by a landslide.’"
