PATTINSON STRUGGLED WITH OPEN GAY SEX SCENE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

Actor ROBERT PATTINSON was wracked with nerves while filming a gay sex scene for new Salvador Dali biopic LITTLE ASHES - because the entire crew was watching, including a group of workmen.
The Twilight hunk portrays the Spanish surrealist artist in the forthcoming movie, but admits the toughest part of the job was having to strip off for the intimate tryst on an open set.
He tells GQ magazine, "(The hardest part was) trying to do it doggie-style. Trying to have a nervous breakdown while doing it doggie-style. And it wasn’t even a closed set. There were all these Spanish electricians giggling to themselves.†The project is one of three Dali biopics in the works. Al Pacino will play the artist in Dali & I: The Surrealist Story, while Antonio Banderas is set to star in another tribute film.

FAITHFULL BIOPIC IN THE WORKS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

Sixties icon MARIANNE FAITHFULL is to be immortalised on the big screen in an upcoming biopic.
The 62-year-old singer reveals a project based on her 1994 autobiography Faithfull is in the works and she has chosen a director.
But Sir Mick Jagger’s ex-lover insists she won’t be involved in the film’s production, including the casting of her character.
She says, "It won’t happen right away but we have found a director who I trust who wants to make a film of the book.
"I’m not getting involved. I’ll read the script, when it’s ready, which isn’t for a long time, and then I’ll leave it to the director and the actress he chooses.
"I don’t want to have much to do with it. I want to read the script and like the script and then I’m going to let go of it and let them do what they want. That’s the way to do it."

KNIGHTLEY SHRUGS OFF NUDE SCENE WITH MILLER

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:42 pm

Actress KEIRA KNIGHTLEY was unfazed when her THE EDGE OF LOVE co-star SIENNA MILLER stripped completely nude to film a bath scene together - insisting it’s all part of her job.
The stars play two lovers of poet Dylan Thomas in the 2008 period drama, and both bared their flesh for the steamy scene.
But while Knightley opted to remain partially clothed for shoot, she insists she wasn’t alarmed when Miller got naked before jumping into the tub.
Instead, she was more concerned about the freezing temperatures of the bath water.
Knightley tells Moviefone.com, "I think we’re both used to doing things like that in our job. It was very soapy water, and it was a closed set and all the rest of it. And I actually had clothing on. She didn’t. Well, I had something on. No, it was sort of fine. It was just a problem because the bath water got really cold."

BEATLES CONSIDER ALTERNATIVE TO ITUNES

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:39 pm

THE BEATLES are considering ditching a deal with iTunes to release their huge back catalogue of music using their own website.
Surviving bandmembers Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr and the estates of the late John Lennon and George Harrison have long resisted releasing their music for digital download.
It was recently announced they have begun negotiations with Apple about making their music available on iTunes, but Harrison’s musician son Dhani reveals The Beatles are unhappy with Apple’s offer - and may take their tunes elsewhere.
He tells Blender magazine, "We’re losing money every day. So what do you do? You have to have your own delivery system, or you have to do a good deal with (Apple boss) Steve Jobs. But he says that a download is worth 99 cents, and we disagree."

BRODERICK SNUBS SMALL SCREEN ROLE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:39 pm

Theatre star MATTHEW BRODERICK has turned down a string of big money offers to star in TV shows - because he refuses to swap his New York home for Los Angeles.
The Producers star’s wife, Sarah Jessica Parker, became a fashionable feminist icon in long-running hit TV series Sex and the City.
But Broderick insists he’s not eyeing a switch from the stage to the small screen, because he’s convinced Parker and their six-year-old son, James Wilkie, would suffer if they moved to LA.
He tells the New York Post, "With children that’s difficult because I’d have to be here. TV is not an appeal because much of it shoots in LA. I’m a New Yorker since I’m born. It’s the best alternative for my life. Out there you’re just staring at your wife and child. New York forces you to interact. My father used to say that in New York just buying a newspaper you get three conversations. I don’t see anybody in my family picking up and moving to L.A."
