MANDY MOORE and rocker RYAN ADAMS have wed in a secret Georgia ceremony, according to internet reports.
Just a month after announcing their engagement, the 24-year-old pop star-turned-actress and 34-year-old Adams exchanged vows in a small, simple ceremony in Savannah, Georgia on Tuesday (10Mar09), reports blogger Perez Hilton.
Few people knew the stars were dating again after their on-and-off romance fell apart last year (08), and Moore started romancing ex-boyfriend Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein as he recovered from a plane crash in South Carolina in September (08).
Moore and Goldstein split in December (08), when the actress/singer reportedly reunited with Adams.
Adams recently announced his plans to step back from music and disband his group The Cardinals to concentrate on other projects.
The rocker was previously engaged to British singer/songwriter Leona Naess, but they split in 2003. The marriage will be the first for both stars.

Actor DANNY DEVITO is turning the life of a shamed U.S. consumer electronics mogul into a movie.
The Twins star has signed up to direct Crazy Eddie - based on the entrepreneur Eddie Antar, who built up a successful empire with the Crazy Eddie chain, only to end up serving a six year prison sentence for fraud. He was freed in 1999.
DeVito will take charge of the project, while 21 writer Peter Steinfeld will pen the script.

SCHOOL OF ROCK actor JOEY GAYDOS has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanour charge of driving while impaired.
The 17-year-old - who played comedian Jack Black’s student bassist in the 2003 comedy - was pulled over by cops in Michigan last month (Feb09) after allegedly attempting to drive away from a fast food restaurant while intoxicated.
The star, who fronts a band called The Joey Gaydos Group, has since apologised to fans for his underage drinking arrest.
He faces up to 93 days in jail when he returns to court for sentencing in April (09).

E.R. will live on after this year’s emotional show finale - TV bosses are planning a spin-off series starring JOHN STAMOS.
Former stars including George Clooney, Julianna Margulies and Noah Wyle are returning for the final season of the long-running hospital drama, which will wrap with its last episode airing in the U.S. on 2 April (09).
But network chiefs at NBC are plotting to keep the spirit of the show alive, with a new series centred around Stamos’ character Dr. Tony Gates.
A source tells the National Enquirer, "This spin-off is the network’s secret weapon, and they’re hoping it will draw a new generation of viewers. Everything’s under tight wraps. The script is still untitled and is being worked on as The John Stamos Project."

GREY’S ANATOMY actor PATRICK DEMPSEY has dismissed reports his co-stars T.R. KNIGHT and KATHERINE HEIGL are leaving the series.
Castmember James Pickens Jr. ‘revealed’ the pair had quit the show last month (Feb09), prompting series creator Shonda Rhimes to hit back insisting his comments had been misconstrued.
She said, "That was a very interesting rumour. And it’s not true. That was absolutely taken out of context. Things happen, and I think rumours become fact very easily. And you know I don’t like to tell you what’s going to happen on the show - but that is a rumour." And now Dempsey is weighing in to put a stop to the rumours once and for all - insisting the cast is more dedicated to the series than ever, thanks to economic uncertainty.
He says, "We have contracts. We’re not going anywhere for two more years. We all signed the same contract. As far as I know, no one is leaving the show. I think we should all be quite grateful we have jobs right now and I think the cast realises that more and more everyday… The success of the show is because of the group itself."

Shocking new photos of PATRICK SWAYZE show the actor gaunt and frail, with friends fearing he is "close to the end" of his cancer battle.
The 56-year-old star has bravely fought pancreatic cancer since he was diagnosed with the deadly condition last year (08). He has continued to work on U.S. TV show The Beast despite his ill health, dividing his time between the Chicago, Illinois set and the California hospital where he has undergone brutal treatment to attack the disease.
Swayze was struck down with pneumonia back in January (09), just days after discussing his cancer battle for the first time in a U.S. TV interview.
He overcame that setback - but two months on, the actor’s health has deteriorated further.
Photographs published in this week’s (begs09Mar09) National Enquirer show a bald and thin Swayze hooked up to a chemotherapy catheter as he attends a medical appointment before going shopping with his wife Lisa.
A friend tells the tabloid, "He knows the end is getting close and he’s treating every day as precious. Still he feels a sense of satisfaction that his hard fight has shown the world what determination can do."

Superstar MICHAEL JACKSON’s plans for a sensational run of comeback concerts in London was stalled - by a show about dinosaurs.
The King of Pop wanted to stage a summer spectacular at London’s O2 Arena by taking over the venue for a two-month residency.
But he was told he would have to step aside for almost a week in August (09) - to make way for a show featuring fake prehistoric monsters.
Walking With Dinosaurs: The Arena Spectacular was already booked in to the O2 for a six-day stint in the middle of Jackson’s planned run, and thousands of tickets had been sold.
It meant the Thriller hitmaker had to plan his live revival around the dates already taken by the monster show.
A source at the O2 says, "Jackson’s people have been in talks with the venue bosses about his comeback for months. Whatever time period was agreed on, Michael wanted to block-book the Arena for a residency. But his people were told there was no way it could happen as so many other shows were booked in advance.
"Eventually he settled on the summer and agreed to work around any shows already booked. Michael Jackson might be the biggest pop star in the world - and these shows are the hottest ticket in town - but not even he can override pre-existing contracts." Jackson announced last week (05Mar09) he would play 10 dates at the O2 in east London in July (09) - his last ever shows in the U.K. capital.
Tickets went on sale on Wednesday (11Mar09) - and when more than a million people tried to buy seats, the singer announced he would play a further string of shows, ending his run at the venue in September (09).
As WENN went to press, the singer had confirmed a total of 27 shows at the O2.

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER’s wife MARIA SHRIVER is laughing off reports she’ll run for the actor-turned-politician’s job as Governor of California when he steps down from office next year (10).
Shriver, a Democrat and member of American politics’ famous Kennedy family, was rumoured to be interested in campaigning for her Republican husband’s office after his term comes to an end in January 2010.
But the former news correspondent has dismissed the claims, insisting she’s happy with her current work as an author and philanthropist and is not suited to life behind a desk.
She says, "I’m not really comfortable in the office. I’m too much of a free spirit.
"I’m trying to use my entire life experience from being in a public family, my experience as a reporter, and everything else in the work I’m doing right now."

Tickets for MICHAEL JACKSON’s comeback gigs are changing hands on the internet for nearly $10,000 (£6,900) - just hours after going on sale.
The Thriller hitmaker announced his return to the stage last week (05Mar09) at a press conference in London, unveiling a residency of 10 shows at the city’s O2 Arena in July (09).
More than a million people registered to buy tickets and when pre-sale seats were made available on Wednesday (11Mar09), they were snapped up within minutes - prompting the singer to more than double his run and extend the residency until September (09).
The tickets - which go on sale to the general public on Friday (13Mar09) - are expected to fully sell out and are already being offered up on the internet, with one pair of seats on auction website eBay reaching $9,999.99 (£6,896).
The shows currently stretch from 8 July (09) until mid September (09), with more dates expected to be announced shortly.
Jackson hasn’t played a full concert since 2001 and insists these shows will be his last in London.

Supermodel HEIDI KLUM has urged fans of her hit U.S. show PROJECT RUNWAY to assemble outside TV mogul HARVEY WEINSTEIN’s home - to protest delays stopping the sixth season from airing.
The series has been left in limbo as bosses at TV station Bravo battle Weinstein’s attempts to transfer it to the Lifetime network.
The final episode was filmed during New York Fashion Week (ends20Feb09), but not a single segment of the latest season has aired - leaving presenter Heidi Klum fuming.
And although Oscar-winning producer Weinstein has vowed the show will reach audiences by any means possible, Klum admits she is growing impatient.
She says, "I think that people should be demonstrating outside of Harvey Weinstein’s house. If it were up to me, it would be on by now."

R&B singer KANDI BURRUSS is becoming a reality TV star - she’s joined the cast of THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA.
The former Xscape star has been drafted in as a replacement for fired housewife DeShawn Snow - spouse of Cleveland Cavaliers basketball star Eric Snow - for the series’ second season, according to Entertainment Weekly.
America’s headline-grabbing show follows the everyday lives of a group of affluent Georgia women.
Burruss, who has a boyfriend and a six year old son from a previous relationship, is producers’ second choice for the hit show - Usher’s wife Tameka Foster had previously declined to take part.

MILEY CYRUS has brushed off reports she’s planning to move in with model/singer JUSTIN GASTON - insisting she’s too independent to handle a live-in lover.

Hip-hop mogul SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS has revealed an interlude on NOTORIOUS B.I.G.’s debut album READY TO DIE was an actual recording of the rap great receiving oral sex - putting an end to years of speculation.
Combs, who executive produced the classic 1994 disc, admits he set up the intimate sex act for the late rapper, because he wanted the audio to sound as real as possible.
He tells the Huffington Post, "That’s a joint that I wanted to make authentic.
"So I had a friend of mine there and, you know, made sure my man was all right. And they became friends."

METALLICA frontman JAMES HETFIELD has blamed a dodgy oyster for his illness that forced the group to scrap a Swedish show over the weekend.
The rockers were due to perform in Stockholm on Sunday (08Mar09), but 16,000 waiting fans were left disappointed when drummer Lars Ulrich took to the stage to announce they would not be playing - citing a mystery illness suffered by Hetfield as the reason for the cancellation.
Hetfield has now taken to the band’s website to apologise to fans for cancelling the show - and revealed doctors had narrowed down the cause of his illness to a virus or a bad oyster.
He writes, "I want to say sorry for missing the second Stockholm gig on Sunday due to illness. The cause/diagnosis at the hospital was narrowed down to either a 24-hour virus or a bad oyster… yes, hate to admit, an oyster could have taken me down.
"I acknowledge and apologise for any inconvenience this has caused fans who had travelled near and far for the show. I had done everything possible to make it, and was at the point of falling if I stood up."

The father of CHRIS BROWN’s manager TINA DAVIS has defended his daughter against allegations she had a sexual relationship with the teenage singer.
Davis is the latest person to become embroiled in last month’s (08Feb09) alleged altercation between Brown and Rihanna, after reports on Tuesday (10Mar09) claimed a saucy text message she sent to Brown sparked the stars’ violent row.
Brown has been charged with assault and making criminal threats in the incident, which reportedly left Rihanna with cuts and bruises that called for medical attention.
An affidavit from a detective investigating the case allegedly refers to the text message as being "from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with", while law enforcement sources claim the message to the shamed R&B star proposed a meeting for a late-night rendez-vous.
Davis, who turns 40 this month (Mar09), and Brown, 19, have previously denied having an affair.
And Tina’s father, 63-year-old George Davis, insists she had nothing to do with the incident.
He tells the New York Daily News, "I’m pretty sure it’s not true. I doubt it, and that’s coming from her father. We’re pretty close." Brown was granted a continuance at his arraignment hearing last week (05Mar09) and remains free on $50,000 (£36,195) bail. He is due back in court in April (09).
If convicted, he faces almost five years behind bars.

Comic book blockbuster WATCHMEN has blasted SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE from the top of the U.K. box office.
The adaptation of Alan Moore’s celebrated graphic novel, starring Billy Crudup and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, took $4.4 million (£3.2 million) to top the chart on its first weekend (07-08Mar09) on release.
Danny Boyle’s tale of the Mumbai, India slums fell to number two, with the film earning another million $2.4 million (£1.8 million).
Clint Eastwood’s Gran Torino slipped one place to third with $1.7 million (£1.2 million), while The Young Victoria was a new entry at number four with $1.45 million (£1 million).
Disney animation Bolt rounds out the top five, slipping one place taking $1.4 million (£978,954).

STAR WARS creator GEORGE LUCAS is casting actors for a live action TV series based on the legendary sci-fi franchise.
Lucas announced plans for a small screen Star Wars spin-off back in 2005.
And although he revealed in 2007 he and his team were writing scripts for the project, the long hiatus has caused fans to question its indefinite release.
But Rose Byrne, who starred in 2002’s Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, as Dorme, has revealed bosses are already considering actors for the sci-fi series.
She tells MTV, "A lot of my friends have been auditioning for it." Lucas is expected to write and shoot an entire year’s worth of episodes before looking to TV networks to host the show, which is projected to air by 2011.

Model KIMORA LEE SIMMONS has dismissed reports she exchanged vows with actor DJIMON HOUNSOU in a secret African ‘wedding’ last summer (08), insisting it was simply a commitment ceremony.
The couple, who are expecting their first child together, began dating after Lee Simmons split from her rap mogul husband Russell Simmons in 2006.
Reports this week (09Mar09) claimed the pair decided to celebrate their love with an unofficial ‘wedding’ in Hounsou’s native Benin, even though the union could not be legally recognised in the U.S. because Lee Simmons’ divorce was not finalised until January (09).
The Baby Phat designer’s spokesperson has confirmed a ceremony took place - but it was only to show their commitment to one another, as opposed to an actual wedding ritual, reports Usmagazine.com.
The rep adds, "The couple is very happy and dedicated to each other one hundred per cent." A source claims the loved-up couple simply wanted to "show how committed to each other they are in front of his family".
However, the insider insists the expectant parents are not planning to wed just yet: "(They’re) not engaged. Everything is great with them and they are happily awaiting the birth of their child together." Lee Simmons also has two daughters from her marriage to the Def Jam Records co-founder: Ming, eight, and Aoki, six.
