BARTON’S PARENTS CLUELESS ABOUT HER CAREER
MISCHA BARTON still has to explain to her parents she is an actress - because they have no idea what she does for a living.
Former The O.C. star Barton is adamant she has made her parents "proud" with her on-screen achievements - but admits they are still baffled by what exactly her glamorous career entails.
She says, "My mom and dad are still a bit confused and cautious about what I do. My dad is a stockbroker who studied law and economics and his dad was a politician. But I know him and my mom are still very proud of me."
