BLACK EYED PEAS star TABOO has offered to become a mentor for bandmates will.i.am and APL.DE.AP when the two bachelors decide to give up the party life and settle down.
The hitmaker insists the pressure is on the pair now that he and bandmate Fergie are married - and he’s happy to coach them through the process from their wild lives to home life.
He says, "Will i.am and Apl.de.ap are enjoying every minute of their single life, but I got married in July (08) and Fergie got married in January (09), so it seems like a lot of the Peas are becoming grown up.
"Now I feel me and Fergie can inspire Will and Apl. when they’re ready to get to where we’re at - by shedding a little light on our experience. You can only party so much until the party dies down after years and years of doing it."

Rocker/actor CHRIS ISAAK is convinced he’ll stun music fans when his interview with YUSUF ISLAM airs on his new TV show THE CHRIS ISAAK HOUR - because the Muslim convert isn’t as "stuffy" as his reputation suggests.
Isaak was thrilled when the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens agreed to make a rare TV appearance on his show - and he was stunned when the Muslim convert agreed to sing old hit I Love My Dog to his manager’s pooch.
Isaak says, "His first hit was I Love My Dog and I said, ‘Will you play some of it for the dog?’ - and he did! "I think people have this idea that Cat Stevens is very stuffy or uptight because he’s a religious guy now, and so you can’t joke about anything. He’s funny and he was a lot of fun to have on the show." And bachelor Isaak admits he learned a thing or two about marriage from his guest: "I asked him if his mother picked out his wife and when he gave the answer he was pretty legitimate, because we have all these ideas about how you’re supposed to pick a wife or be in love - but mostly they don’t work. Let’s face it, half the marriages go down the toilet.
"I said to Cat, ‘There might be more marriages that worked if people went to their parents and asked them, ‘What do you think of these people?’ Nowadays, people go, ‘What time does the bar close? You want to get married?’"

Singer-songwriter BUDDY MILLER is recovering in hospital after undergoing triple-bypass heart surgery.
The country star suffered severe chest pains after a show in Baltimore last week (begs16Feb09).
He was taken to Baltimore’s Johns Hopkins Hospital on Friday (20Feb09), where he underwent triple-bypass heart surgery and is currently recuperating, according to CMT.com.

A leading ticket agency has agreed to pay out $350,000 (£240,000) to the state of New Jersey following a row over ticket sales for BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN’s forthcoming tour.
Fans of the Born to Run hitmaker were left furious when they were unable to buy certain seats from the Ticketmaster.com website, and were instead redirected to another agency charging a higher price.
Springsteen described the move as an "abuse of our fans and our trust".
But New Jersey Attorney General Anne Milgram revealed on Monday (23Feb09) that officials at the ticket agency had agreed to pay the state $350,000 (£240,000).
Bosses at Ticketmaster will also hold a random ticket drawing for 1,000 fans who filed complaints, after being unable to buy at posted prices for shows to be held on 1 May (09) and 23 May at the Izod Center, New Jersey.

The attorney representing the man accused of slaying JENNIFER HUDSON’s mother, brother and nephew has quit the case.
William Balfour, the estranged husband of Hudson’s sister Julia, is the prime suspect in the October (08) murders, which left the singer/actress mourning the loss of her mum Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and seven-year-old nephew Julian King.
Attorney Joshua Kutnick believes Balfour is innocent, but cannot financially support such a high-profile case on his own, he tells the Chicago Sun Times.
Kutnick adds, "It’s the kind of case that involves intense hours. I was gathering all resources, but I couldn’t finance it." The 27-year-old pleaded not guilty to charges of first degree murder and home invasion last month (20Jan09).

THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON has kept its place at the top of the box office charts outside the U.S., with weekend takings of $21 million (£14.4 million) from 61 markets.
The drama, which stars Brad Pitt as a man who ages backwards, remained on top for a third consecutive week, taking its overall international earnings to $153 million (£105 million).
Disney animated movie Bolt held on to the second spot, garnering $11.7 million (£8 million) from 42 markets while Tom Cruise’s Valkyrie came in third with $7.5 million (£5.1 million) from 57 markets Star-studded romantic comedy He’s Just Not That Into You took the fourth spot with takings of $7.8 million (£5.3 million) from 25 territories.
Confessions of a Shopaholic, which stars Australian actress Isla Fisher, rounded out the top five, taking $6 million (£4.1 million) from 10 markets.

U.S. film and television commercial director HOWARD ZIEFF has died, at the age of 81.
He passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Sunday (22Feb09) after suffering from Parkinson’s disease, according to his wife Ronda Gomez-Quinones.
Zieff was a top advertising print photographer and TV commercial director in the 1960s before taking on directorial duties for a string of hit movies including 1980 comedy Private Benjamin and My Girl in 1991.
Goldie Hawn, who received an Oscar nomination for her role in Private Benjamin, has paid tribute to Zieff.
She says, "I loved Howard and his zest for life. What I remember and cherish most was his humour and love of laughter. He had a special talent for directing comedies, always a rare gift. We laughed and cried together while making Private Benjamin, and I will miss him so much." Zieff is survived by his wife.

Actress PORTIA DE ROSSI has denied reports she is planning to undergo fertility treatment in order to start a family with partner ELLEN DEGENERES.
The couple, who wed last year (Aug08), were allegedly desperate to have a biological child - with a U.S. magazine last week (18Feb09) claiming de Rossi was set to begin in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment.
But the Ally McBeal star has shot down the rumours.
She tells Access Hollywood, "There’s a story around right now about me that could not be further from the truth. (The IVF story) was just completely made up. The baby thing comes around annually. I findâ�¦ once a year, you know, whether I deny it or notâ�¦ It doesn’t make any difference."

Rapper BOW WOW was so stunned to hear about pal CHRIS BROWN’s recent arrest, he refused to believe reports accusing the singer of assaulting his girlfriend RIHANNA.
The Kiss Kiss hitmaker was charged by Los Angeles police with making criminal threats following the incident on 8 February (09), which is said to have left Rihanna needing hospital treatment.
But Bow Wow, real name Shad Moss, was so shocked by the news, he initially dismissed it as online gossip.
He tells WENN, "I mean, my first thought was, ‘That’s not true, it’s just a rumour.’ But after the story started unfolding, then I was kinda shocked. I know both Chris and Rihanna personally; I’ve been on tour with him and he’s a good friend. And Rihanna, she’s cool, she ain’t (sic) nothing but nice to everybody." The 21-year old is keeping both his friends in his thoughts - and hopes the press will leave the former couple to work out their differences in private, without all the unnecessary media speculation.
He adds, "You know, it’s a difficult situation. At the end of the day, no one knows what went on except those two. Anytime a situation like this happens, there’s always a hundred people saying, ‘Oh, he should have done this, he should have done that’, but you don’t know. You don’t know what you would do in the heat of the moment. You don’t think about it when you’re in that situation.
"I just hope people give them their space and do what they need to do. I hope they bounce back, get on their feet, and they get back to doing what we love, what we know them for doing and everybody moves on.
"I pray for them, I hope Rihanna’s OK and I hope that Chris overcomes the situation; (that) they both overcome the situation and the rest is their business."

Soul singer JOSS STONE has been dumped by her teenage boyfriend, according to U.K. reports.
The You Had Me hitmaker, 21, had been dating 19-year-old boatbuilder Danny Radford since December (09).
But Radford has ended the romance to start a new life in France - after growing disillusioned with Stone’s celebrity lifestyle, according to U.K. newspaper The Sun.
A source tells the publication, "Danny adores Joss but he couldn�t put up with her constantly being away. He�s upset but wants to make a fresh start. Joss seems cool about it.�

MARIAH CAREY has a special keepsake from FLEETWOOD MAC star STEVIE NICKS - a letter the rock veteran wrote her when she was struggling with her sanity.

Iconic music producer QUINCY JONES is facing legal action from a disgruntled former employee, who alleges he’s yet to be paid for a job he completed last summer (08).
An unnamed audio production assistant claims he is owed $3,100 (£2,180) for two weeks’ work.
But according to TMZ.com, the studio worker alleges he’s yet to be compensated for his time and is taking Jones to a small claims court to settle the matter.

Actress OLIVIA WILDE is glad her husband kept his royal identity from her on their first dates - because she would never have believed he was an Italian prince.
The House star is wed to Tao Ruspoli, whose family was given noble titles by the Pope, and that officially makes her a princess.
But she’s glad her real-life Prince Charming didn’t use his title as a chat-up line.

Actors MICHAEL CLARKE DUNCAN and NEAL MCDONOUGH fell out on the set of their new action movie STREETFIGHTER: THE LEGEND OF CHUN LI after a basketball spat got out of hand.
The two stars spent the final three weeks of the shoot refusing to speak to one another outside of scenes in which their characters had dialogue together.
The Green Mile star Duncan recalls, "He was my only buddy and we got so mad at each other playing basketball one evening that we stopped speaking to each other for the rest of the shoot." The pair recently patched up their differences in time for their promotional duties.
Duncan adds, "When we saw each other for the press day we were like, ‘What did we do that for?’ I was so miserable without him in Bangkok. I had nobody to be with." And the heavyweight star admits basketball wasn’t the only thing he and McDonough quarrelled about: "He loaned me, like, 2,000 Bahts, which is like 15 bucks, and he made a big deal about me not paying him back on time… We argued a lot."
