KATE HUDSON has fuelled rumours her romance with OWEN WILSON is back on after the couple was spotted enjoying a low-key break in France.
The Hollywood stars originally dated in 2006, shortly after they starred in You, Me & Dupree together - but they split in 2007, just before Wilson allegedly tried to take his life.
Hudson, 29, and Wilson, 40, were romantically linked again in 2008, and were reported to have gotten back together in early February (09).
Now they’ve been photographed taking in the sights on a trip to the coastal region of Normandy in France, where Wilson is in the country promoting his movie Marley & Me.
Hudson joined Wilson for a romantic stroll around the picturesque resort on Tuesday (24Feb09), before sitting down for a cosy dinner.
An onlooker says, "They were like any normal young couple. She held his hand and they were very nice, no pretensions." A fellow diner adds, "They were comfortable with each other. There was lots of talking going on between them, laughter."

Singer TAYLOR SWIFT has lavished praise on NICOLE KIDMAN and KEITH URBAN - calling them the "most down to earth couple in country music".
Swift admits she regularly sees the Hollywood actress and her country star husband at red carpet music events, and she is delighted the pair always takes time to chat to her.
She says, "They�re the most down to earth couple that I�ve met being in country music. Nicole Kidman will hug you and look you in the eye, and you can tell she�s so engaged in the conversation and listening to you, and Keith will come up to you and talk to you.

Irish actor JONATHAN RHYS MEYERS has reportedly checked into rehab in a bid to kick his drink demons once and for all.
According to website Independent.ie, the Tudors star is attending a recovery centre in England to deal with his alcohol problem.
It would be Meyers’ third attempt at rehab - in 2005, he spent time at Malibu, California’s Promises Clinic in a bid to get sober, and he underwent further treatment in April 2007.
However, he suffered a setback in November 2007 when he was arrested at Dublin Airport by Irish police and charged with being drunk and in breach of the peace. It later emerged that Meyers’ mother had died just days before his arrest.
The actor has previously spoken out about his battle with drinking, saying, "When I do (drink) I’m like Bambi. I’m all over the place, hopeless, like a 16-year-old kid. People notice." And an insider on the Tudors show claims producers warned Meyers about his alcohol intake during filming on the programme’s upcoming third season.
The source says, "He is one of the nicest guys in the world, he’s a pleasure to work with. He has his demons, and he’s trying to cope with them as best he can." Meyer’s publicist had not returned requests for comment as WENN went to press.

LADY GAGA has replaced JAMES MORRISON and NELLY FURTADO at the top of the European singles chart - her song POKER FACE is the new number one.
The pop star’s latest track has climbed two spots to take pole position, pushing Morrison’s duet with Furtado, Broken Strings, to two.

Burlesque star DITA VON TEESE is to launch a music career after signing a record deal.
The sultry striptease artist has already admitted to harbouring acting ambitions, insisting she would love to write and star in her own movie.
And now the star is determined to tackle the charts too.
She says, "I signed a deal with Interscope in Europe." Von Teese, who was previously married to rocker Marilyn Manson, has previously appeared in a string of music videos, including her former husband’s 2003 hit Mobscene.
She also featured in Green Day’s Redundant video in 1998 and in footage screened on George Michael’s 2008 live tour.

NINE INCH NAILS frontman TRENT REZNOR has confirmed he has been recording with newly reformed rockers JANE’S ADDICTION.
The original Jane’s Addiction line-up reunited for a gig last October (08) and subsequently announced plans to team up with the Hurt hitmakers for an upcoming tour.
And now Reznor has revealed that the legendary group are back in the studio working on new material - and he has joined in the jam sessions.
He writes on the band’s official website, "Emails were sent, phone calls were made, dinner was arranged, ideas were discussed and the next thing I know we’re in the studio experimenting… I get to see first-hand why they broke up all those years ago but I also get the chance to see four distinct personalities that become an INCREDIBLE band when they’re in the same room."

JERMAINE JACKSON is seeking sole custody of his two children with ex-wife ALEJANDRA amid allegations of abuse.
The former Jackson 5 star received a call from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Devonshire Division earlier this month (Feb09) alerting him to the fact his two sons Jermajesty and Jaafar had been taken into their care.
Officers were reportedly called to eight year old Jermajesty’s school after he told a teacher his mother Alejandra had been slapping him repeatedly across the face.
According to sources, the boys are currently being looked after by Alejandra, but Jackson’s divorce lawyer Gary Mitchell is now moving to have the singer named as their full-time guardian, reports Radar Online.
He says, "Jermaine is seeking sole custody of the children and will do all that is necessary to protect and safe guard the children. I will be going to court early next week to address this situation. Jermaine will be seeking sole custody with visitation for Alejandra, but we will be requesting that visitation be monitored.
"Jermajesty has been missing a lot of school recently, and Jermaine and his teachers want to know why." Jackson, Alejandra, their two kids and Jackson’s mother Catherine met with officials from the Case Sensitive Unit of the Department of Children and Family Services on Tuesday (24Feb09).
And Mitchell claims they used the opportunity to serve Alejandra with papers regarding amendments to Jackson’s child support payments.
He adds, "Alejandra was finally served with the papers seeking to modify spousal and child support at the meeting with the Department of Children and Family Services." Jackson filed legal papers in a Los Angeles court earlier this month (Feb09) requesting a reduction in the amount of his monthly payments because he no longer earns as much as he used to.

Tattoo artist and fanatic KAT VON D has vowed never to have her chest inked - because she doesn’t want to give the opposite sex any reason to stare at her breasts.
The LA Ink star, and girlfriend of rocker Nikki Sixx, has designs all over her body, but she insists she’ll stay away from decorating her breastbone.

The actress will shed her clothes for the men’s magazine’s May (09) issue - 11 years after gracing the cover while pregnant with her first child, daughter Delilah Belle.
And she is confident the nude photo spread will delight male readers, because she’s in better shape now than she was at the age of 34 - thanks to her stint on U.S. dance competition Dancing with the Stars.

A union grievance committee investigating JEREMY PIVEN’s sudden departure from Broadway play SPEED-THE-PLOW has gone into arbitration after failing to reach a decision in the case.
Piven’s New York stage debut was cut short after the actor fell ill late last year (08), forcing him to bow out of the David Mamet play. He claimed high levels of mercury in his bloodstream, brought on by eating copious amounts of sushi, was the cause of his departure.
Broadway bosses filed a complaint with Actors’ Equity Association, the union which represents theatre actors, and a hearing was held on Thursday (26Feb09).
Producers argue his abrupt departure in December from the $3.5 million (£2.4 million) production jeopardised show earnings.
But the committee, comprised of five actors and five producers, is split on the decision and now an independent referee will be brought in to help settle the dispute.

Rocker JOHN MAYER is teaming up with Fender Guitars to produce two replicas of his favourite axe.
The Daughters hitmaker admits he’s been working on the idea for a few years, and has come up with a novel way of making the line accessible for all fans.
In a video on his official YouTube channel, Mayer says, "I’m meeting with Mike Eldred and Justin Norvell from Fender Custom Shop and we’re talking about something we’ve kicked around for two, three years.
"We are going to recreate this black guitar, which I call The Black One… We’re going to recreate this in two different ways, two different models. One of them: super limited edition, master built, custom shop, like dead-on balls accurate, as you see it." "And the other one - because I don’t want to say to fans, ‘Hey, you can own my guitar, it’s six grand, there’s 83 of them, go for it!’ I think I want to do 83 of the custom-shop master built version and then offer (a more affordable version), an unlimited production line version of it."

JOHN LENNON’s widow YOKO ONO will be honoured for her contributions to the art world at this year’s (09) prestigious Venice Biennale event in Italy.
Ono, 76, will be presented with a Golden Lion alongside fellow honoree John Baldessari at the contemporary art exhibition, which runs from 7 June to 22 November (09).
The show’s curator, Daniel Birnbaum, says the pair’s "ground-breaking activities have opened new poetic, conceptual and social possibilities for artists around the globe." He adds, "Their work has revolutionised the language of art and will remain a source of inspiration for generations to come." Ono and Baldessari will be bestowed with the accolades at the event’s inauguration on 6 June (09).

British soccer ace DAVID BECKHAM has moved into GEORGE CLOONEY’s luxury Italian villa.
The Los Angeles Galaxy star is calling the Lake Como retreat home while he plays on loan for Italian club AC Milan.

Rap mogul PERCY MILLER has launched a mentoring programme to help raise awareness among youths about the importance of education.
The star, formerly known as Master P, wants kids to learn from his past mistakes - so he’s started the P. Miller Mentorship Program to benefit youngsters in inner-city communities.
He says, "I will share how I’ve lived my life with ‘no excuses’ to overcome them (my mistakes). I am open to share knowledge with my music peers, entertainers, athletes and especially young people." The aim of the initiative is to "prepare, guide and educate people so that they can make the right decisions".
Miller will tour schools and businesses in Los Angeles and New Orleans, Louisiana, in the coming months to speak to younger generations about a variety of topics, including finances, education and life in the spotlight.

Embattled rapper DMX has blasted allegations he attacked a prison officer while behind bars in Arizona, insisting the rumours are an attempt to "destroy (his) credibility".
The hip-hop star, real name Earl Simmons, is serving time at Tent City Jail for drug possession, animal cruelty and theft.
Reports surfaced on Wednesday (25Feb09) claiming DMX had also been causing trouble while incarcerated - by assaulting a guard with a loaded food tray.
But the rapper has slammed the allegations, and is adamant he is seeing out his sentence "peacefully" - without any special treatment.
In a statement, he says, "Many of you know me as DMX but right now I am speaking to you as Earl Simmons. Just a man trying to serve my time peacefully in order to put all this behind me so I can carry on with my normal life.
"The truth of the matter is, in the eyes of many I am not just a normal man but rather a celebrity, which can be a blessing and a curse. Since I have begun to serve out my sentence, I have not been given any special treatment but it has actually been the opposite.
"For the record, I want to state ‘I Did Not’ physically touch or hit an officer. This is just another attempt to destroy my credibility." DMX is expected to serve a total of 90 days in jail, plus an additional 18 months of supervised probation for his various convictions.

Actress/TV presenter ROSIE O’DONNELL has urged more Americans to become foster parents - because programmes to protect neglected children are in crisis.
The A League of Their Own star and her partner, Kelli Carpenter, are licenced foster parents in the state of Florida, and have worked extensively to bring an end to laws prohibiting same-sex family adoption.
O’Donnell is concerned growing budget cuts spurred on by the international economic crisis will have a devastating effect on the child services system.
And she is pleading with families to become caretakers for abused or neglected children, through foster care or court-appointed advocate programmes.
She says, "The doctors and social workers who work with this population have unbelievably large caseloads. To give the kind of individualised attention that happens in a residential treatment facility is hard to come by, especially because the facilities are being closed as programmes are cut and cut and cut, and they don’t have the time to individually get to know the every child they need to get to know.
"Foster parents on the whole are great people but we need more of them and we need CASA advocates(Court Appointed Special Advocate)."

CHRIS NOTH has been tangled in a pair of lawsuits filed by his ex-girlfriend, supermodel/actress BEVERLY JOHNSON, and her former lover, who wants the actor to testify against her in court.
Johnson has filed court papers accusing her ex, professional golf star Mark Burk, of beating and threatening to kill her - allegations Burk denies.
The 56-year-old former model filed charges against her then-boyfriend Noth in 1995, accusing him of beating her, threatening to disfigure her dog and making death threats against her, reports the National Enquirer.
Criminal charges were not brought against Noth.
And 51-year-old Burk, who has filed his own lawsuit accusing Johnson of lying, is planning to subpoena the actor to testify on his behalf.
Burk says, "Beverly is an unstable woman. She accused me of threatening to slit her throat and slit her dog’s throat - which was complete made up. Beverly accused Chris of all sort of abuse too, but criminal charges were never brought against him. Now he’ll be forced to testify against her in my court case, and the truth will finally come out." Noth adds, "There is no basis to the claims Ms. Johnson made back in 1995. I was approached about Mr. Burk’s situation, but I haven’t been subpoenaed."
