KAPRANOS QUIT RELIGIOUS SCHOOL OVER POT RUMOURS
FRANZ FERDINAND star ALEX KAPRANOS quit a Church of Scotland religious school when a marijuana-smoking rumour got out of hand.
The Take Me Out singer attended a divinity school for a year when he was 17, but realised a faith-based life wasn’t for him.
He tells Spin magazine, "I was sitting in a classroom with middle-aged men who wanted to be ministers.
"One day a fellow student told me, ‘Alex, we’ve been holding prayer meetings about you because we heard you were smoking grass.’ "I thought to myself, ‘I’ve got to get out of here.’"
