BENJAMIN BUTTON KEEPS PLACE AT TOP OF FOREIGN BOX OFFICE CHARTS

THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON has kept its place at the top of the box office charts outside the U.S., with weekend takings of $21 million (£14.4 million) from 61 markets.
The drama, which stars Brad Pitt as a man who ages backwards, remained on top for a third consecutive week, taking its overall international earnings to $153 million (£105 million).
Disney animated movie Bolt held on to the second spot, garnering $11.7 million (£8 million) from 42 markets while Tom Cruise’s Valkyrie came in third with $7.5 million (£5.1 million) from 57 markets Star-studded romantic comedy He’s Just Not That Into You took the fourth spot with takings of $7.8 million (£5.3 million) from 25 territories.
Confessions of a Shopaholic, which stars Australian actress Isla Fisher, rounded out the top five, taking $6 million (£4.1 million) from 10 markets.
