C-MURDER ASSOCIATE ADMITS TO WITNESS TAMPERING
An affiliate of COREY ‘C-MURDER’ MILLER has pleaded guilty to witness tampering charges in a Louisiana court, in relation to the troubled rapper’s 2002 murder trial.
Miller, the brother of rap mogul Master P, is accused of shooting dead 16 year old Steve Thomas in 2002.
He was convicted of second-degree murder in 2003 and handed a life sentence, but it was declared a mistrial in 2006.
However, it has now emerged that Miller’s associate Dwayne ‘Wango’ Cobbins threatened to use force to influence a member of the original trial jury. Miller was also accused of the same crime, but was never officially charged.
The exact nature of Cobbins’ threats have not been disclosed and no further details were available as WENN went to press.
A new trial date has been set for April this year (09); Miller remains on house arrest until the court date.
