FIELD OF DREAMS CELEBRATION CALLED OFF

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 12:42 am

The couple who own the site KEVIN COSTNER’s character called home in baseball film FIELD OF DREAMS have abandoned plans to stage a celebration to mark the 20th anniversary of the film.
Donald and Becky Lansing claim the economic crisis is to blame for their decision to call off the event, which they were planning in northern Iowa this spring (09).
They tell the Associated Press that it made no sense to spend money on such an event when so many local people are losing their jobs.
Instead, the couple plans to donate the cash to a local food bank.
