JESSICA SIMPSON can count on one person to appreciate her curvier figure - shapely socialite KIM KARDASHIAN thinks the singer looks "amazing" sporting a few extra pounds.
The reality TV star has jumped to Simpson’s defence after she was mocked for showing off her fuller figure at a recent gig.
The unwanted attention sparked an angry rant from the singer’s sister Ashlee, who branded the criticism of her sibling’s weight "embarrassing and belittling".
And socialite Kardashian is also stunned by the ridicule Simpson’s fuller figure has received - insisting she thinks the star looks better than ever.
She tells People.com, "Call me crazy, but when I saw the picture, I was like, ‘Oh my God, Jessica looks hot!’ "I love curves. Being super skinny just isn’t attractive to me. When I saw that picture, I knew everyone was going to say something. And I thought, ‘You know what? Leave Jessica alone!’ She’s fabulous, she’s a really sweet girl, and I admire her for putting up with it." "I get that she does look curvier, but to me, there’s nothing wrong with it."
