CHAN TO MENTOR KARATE KID
Martial arts actor JACKIE CHAN is in negotiations to star as MR. MIYAGI in a remake of THE KARATE KID.
The Rush Hour star is being lined up as the mentor to Will Smith’s son Jaden, who has landed the lead role, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The part of Mr. Miyagi was made famous by Pat Morita in the 1984 original.
