LIAM NEESON’s boxing background helps keep the big guy out of harms way because he cans spot trouble coming.
The Irish actor trained as an amateur boxer in his youth and admits his lessons have always taught him how to avoid a punch-up.
He explains, "I actually find that, as an ex-amateur boxer, I never once got into a street fight, because the discipline of learning how to box would negate any kind of acts of physical violence I may have felt.

DAWSON SCARRED BY BULL RUN IN SPAIN

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:45 pm

ROSARIO DAWSON was left so traumatised after running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain she was "perpetually scared" on the streets for three months after the terrifying event.
The thrill-seeking Sin City star ran through the cobbled streets of Pamplona, trying to avoid charging cattle as part of the town’s famous bull run two years ago (07) - and she feared she’d never be able to recover from the adrenaline rush.
She tells WENN, "I was perpetually scared for about three months after running with the bulls. I’d get to a street corner in New York, look both ways and I’d step out and my heart would still be racing that some train or car would just run me over.
"My mortality was so close to me running. That entire run is still extremely vivid to me; the sounds, the breath. I don’t think I breathed in more oxygen in my entire life. I could feel every cell in my body.
"There was a bull that stopped next to me and it turned and looked at me and I was like, ‘Well that’s it.’ It was really scary and I’m glad that I survived it." And she can still remember the face of the man who tried to use her as a human shield.
She adds, "There was a guy who grabbed me into a doorway which might’ve been chivalrous, but thanks to my New York upbringing I just elbowed him and kept going! I was like, ‘Dude, what do you think, you’re gonna hold me in front of you? If a bull is gonna give us a colonic it’ll go through both of us.’"

LAURIE’S TEENAGE SUICIDE PACT

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:45 pm

English actor HUGH LAURIE has already survived nearly a decade longer than he expected as a teen - after making a pact with his friends to take their lives before turning 40.
The House star admits he found the age unappealing, and vowed to take his last breath before growing too old.
Laurie tells Playboy magazine, "I think I suffered from the arrogance of youth. When I was 15, I and a group of school friends took a sort of pledge that we wouldn’t live beyond 40. We decided we’d kill ourselves." And the Golden Globe winner admits some of his pals were even more extreme, but insists he has abandoned his teen angst.
He adds, "In fact, there were some hard-core members of the group - I wasn’t one of them - who only wanted to make it to 30.
"The ‘I hope I die before I get old’ sort of thing. Talk about arrogance. The arrogance of youth, it trumps all."

HAYEK FAKED FRENCH TEACHER’S DEATH

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:36 pm

Mexican-American actress SALMA HAYEK is tongue-tied now her young daughter is speaking French - because she faked the death of her own tutor to get out of learning the language.
The 42-year-old star welcomed daughter Valentina with her ex-fiance, French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, in September 2007.
And now that her baby girl is becoming more fluent in French, English and Spanish, Hayek is kicking herself for concocting a murderous scheme to escape a summer in the classroom.
She says, "This is a tragic thing. I don’t speak French really well - but you know, I could have. When I was about 17 or 16, my parents sent me to Paris to study at (University of Paris) La Sorbonne for the whole summer - an intensive course, six hours a day with a private tutor and staying with French nuns.
"A friend from Greece called me and said, ‘What are you, crazy? You’re going to spend your whole summer locked up in a classroom?’ "So we came up with a plan and I called up my parents and told them the tutor died, and it was too late in the game and they couldn’t find any more tutors.
"So I went to Greece instead, and now I’m really sorry I killed that tutor because it would’ve been really handy to speak French."

BARRYMORE: ‘I DON’T UNDERSTAND RELATIONSHIPS’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:30 pm

DREW BARRYMORE finds it hard to comprehend what it’s like to be in a normal relationship - because she had such an unconventional upbringing.
The actress’ parents divorced when she was a tot and she found it hard to rebuild a normal relationship with her mother and father after they split.
And Barrymore is sure their parting so early in her life had an influence on the romances she has had since.
She tells Britain’s OK! magazine, "I’ve never really understood how I should feel or behave in a relationship. I didn’t have the kind of childhood which would have given me any perspective on what a happy home life or relationship would feel like.
"My father was literally out of his mind and my mother was more like a friend. She’d take me out to clubs and I wound up feeling like part of this very unreal kind of world, although that was the only world I ever knew growing up." The 33-year-old has enjoyed a string of long-term relationships and has been married twice - a one-month union in 1994 to a Welsh bar owner and a 15- month marriage to comedian Tom Green in 2001.
And her failed nuptials have had a lasting effect on the Charlie’s Angels star, who would love to settle down.
Barrymore adds, "It left me without any bearings when it came to how to live in general. That obviously affects you in terms of everything else you’re going to experience. So I haven’t had as much happiness or success in my past relationships as I would have liked.
"What’s helped me is having really good and close friends who I’ve always been able to rely on."
