Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:30 pm

LEONARD COHEN has announced his first American concert since 1993 after conquering Europe and the British charts late last year (08).
The crooner’s 2008 Canadian and European dates were critically acclaimed and his Hallelujah song, performed by X Factor winner Alexandra Burke and Jeff Buckley, claimed the number one and two spots on Britain’s end of year pop charts.
And now Cohen has lined up a date at New York’s Beacon Theatre on 19 February (09).
No other U.S. dates have been announced as WENN went to press. (KL/PR/IG) WENN - SIXTH - HOLLYWOOD, SHOWBIZ & PEOPLE NEWS - 13 JANUARY 2009
