Friends claims the girlfriends have spent time apart, and Lohan has moved out of the home they shared.
But the Mean Girls star is determined to clear up reports they’ve broken up.
She tells Life & Style magazine, "We never broke up. People don’t have to be together every second. It’s healthy to miss someone, and if you’re in it for the long run, it’s good to know that." Sources tell the U.S. publication that Lohan has set up home "around the corner from Sam," adding, " It’s going to allow them some space." The couple showed a united front on 12 January (09) when they stepped out for dinner at West Hollywood’s Matsuhisa.
But a source close to Lohan and Ronson says, "They break up and make up all the time. There are a lot of speed bumps in this relationship, but that’s part of the attraction."

Golden Globe Awards winner MICKEY ROURKE has signed up to front a new crusade to spay and neuter pets.

In the ad, Rourke appears in his trademark sunglasses and holding his canine sidekick, Jaws, next to a caption that reads, "When dogs get knocked up, puppies get put down because there aren’t enough homes for them." BROTHERS & SISTERS RALLY BEHIND GETTY BUT SUGGEST TOUGH TIMES AHEAD

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:33 pm

BALTHAZAR GETTY’s castmates on hit show BROTHERS & SISTERS are rallying round the actor amid reports he’s set to be axed from the series following his SIENNA MILLER romance scandal.
Getty cheated on his wife with Miller after Brothers & Sisters co-star Matthew Rhys introduced the pair, and insiders claim the cast of the show were upset by their pal’s infidelity.
The sources told U.S. tabloids that a rift between Getty and the rest of the Brothers & Sisters cast has grown in recent weeks - and producers were considering axing Getty as a regular.
The actor revealed he was unaware of such plans in a recent TV Guide, and stressed he and his Brothers & Sisters castmates were like "family", and now Rhys and TV sister Rachel Griffiths have stepped up to defend Getty.
Rhys says, "No one would want him completely gone. We’ve all established ourselves as a family on the show, and I hope we continue to do so." And Griffiths adds, "We’re a family. We’ll get through it. And all I can say is we love him very dearly." But Rhys tells Eonline.com that Getty and his character Tommy Walker could be in for a difficult few months: "I think the show is going through a slight transition period. How much we’ll see him (Getty) next season, I don’t know." Eonline.com reports Getty will be phased out of the series before the current season ends.

WATTS LOSES WEIGHT BY BREAST FEEDING

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

NAOMI WATTS has regained her pre-pregnancy figure less than a month after giving birth - citing her incredible weight-loss to good old-fashioned breast feeding.
The King Kong star gave birth to her second son, Samuel, just last month (13Dec08), and was pictured out in New York on Monday (12Jan09) looking her usual slim self.
She tells People.com, "I’m breast feeding. And he’s sucking it all out of me, it seems. And when the baby comes out, it’s a lot of weight right there." The new tot is her second child with partner Liev Schreiber - the pair already has baby Alexander.
Watts adds of the two kids, "They’re very different. Sammy’s more fragile, in a way. But I don’t know, maybe I’ve forgotten how small they are. Alexander is only 18 months old.
Having two young children is taking its toll on the couple, which rarely gets a rest from the demands of its sons - but Watts and Schreiber wouldn’t have it any other way.
Schreiber says, "It’s f**king hard. So little sleep. It’s 23 hours and 59 minutes of exhaustion. But then they do one little thing in that last minute that is just so compelling and fascinating that it makes the other 23 hours and 59 minutes worthwhile."

JOHANSSON EYES DIRECTING CAREER IN ‘AGEIST’ HOLLYWOOD

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:42 pm

Screen siren SCARLETT JOHANSSON is eyeing a career switch as soon as she begins to wrinkle - she’s preparing to become a director before movie bosses pass her up for another ingenue.
Johansson made her film debut at the age of nine in 1994’s North, and already fears she’ll be overlooked by the next budding beauty.
She tells America’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine, "It’s hard to be a 24-year-old actor and not be typecast. A lot of roles are either for a sexy person or a Juno-type character.
"That ageism makes the actress fearful for her future, making her consider another path within the industry. There is some weird ageist quality in Hollywood, perhaps that’s why I lean more toward directing and development.
"That’s probably the direction I’ll take; I can’t keep up this face forever, you know."

ROURKE A CHANGED MAN

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:42 pm

MICKEY ROURKE is adamant his bad boy reputation is a thing of the past because he is finally able to deal with his problems without the use of violence.
The Wrestler star spent years in the Hollywood wilderness after countless run-ins with police and hot-headed rows with movie executives.
But now he has returned to the limelight, Rourke claims that, while he will never be fully reformed, he now steers clear of confrontation and is a much more responsible individual.
He says, "Not reformed, no, but I have come to understand why I self-destructed. It was to do with authority. I wouldn’t let any man look at me and give me the eye. I didn’t care if he was seven feet tall with muscles on top of muscles. It was on. Eye contact with them, on the street, it would be on, right there.
"Well, I don’t carry myself that way any more, I don’t go looking for that.
Any authority figure at all, any producer who told me something, and it was, get the f**k out of the room. I didn’t know that’s what happened to me. Now I’m accountable. I also understand I’m responsible for repercussions."
