DeGENERES WANTS TO MATCHMAKE HATHAWAY
Comedian ELLEN DeGENERES is offering up her matchmaking services to actress ANNE HATHAWAY after her 2008 break-up from convicted fraudster RAFFAELLO FOLLIERI.
The Devil Wears Prada star dumped Follieri in June (08), just days before he was arrested for fraud and money laundering
. The Italian businessman was later sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison.
And now chatshow host DeGeneres is keen to find Hathaway a new lover.
During an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, set to air in the U.S
. on Thursday (08Jan09), the host tells the actress: "If you need someone, I will find you a boyfriend
. I’m really good at it." A red-faced Hathaway replies, "Did you see how nervous I just got?" DeGeneres adds, "You don’t even have to date
. You can go straight to commitment." And Hathaway has only one real requirement from any potential new boyfriends: "At this point I would just like him to be law abiding.
"2008 was the year I learned to have a sense of humour about everything."
