MILLS MOVING TO MCCARTNEY’S NEIGHBOURHOOD

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:42 pm

SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY could be seeing more of ex-wife HEATHER MILLS - the former model is planning to buy a luxury New York mansion less than three miles from the former BEATLE.
Mills - now dating personal trainer Jamie Walker - is eyeing up the opulent $2.5 million (£1.71 million) estate in the exclusive Hamptons area of Long Island, New York, including 20 acres of land and a swimming pool.
Yet an insider tells British tabloid The People that Mills’ move could be stifling for McCartney and his relationship with businesswoman Nancy Shevell.
The source says, "It’s no secret that relations between Heather and Sir Paul remain strained. Paul has no problem with Heather having an American home. It makes things easier so far as sharing arrangements for their daughter Beatrice.
"But he feels he’s moved on with his life since finding love with Nancy. The prospect of Heather living in his shadow does not fill him with joy." Mills won $36.3 million (£25 million) in her divorce settlement from McCartney last year (08), and has so far spent an estimated $14.5 million (£10 million) on property.

MENDES: ‘WINSLET IS AMAZING’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:39 pm

Actress EVA MENDES is envious of KATE WINSLET’s success - and would have no qualms about "stealing" one of the British star’s roles.
The Hitch star has appeared in numerous films over the past decade and has long admired Winslet’s work.
And Mendes admits she’d be "happy" to have just two of the Titanic actress’ parts.
She tells Britain’s Mail on Sunday, "I would steal Kate Winslet’s roles. All her roles. Don’t talk to me about it because she can do no wrong in my eyes.
"Not only is she the most amazing actress in the entire world, she’s nude a lot in her films which shows she’s just fearless. Her choices are impeccable.
She literally can do anything. If she can just give me two of her roles, I’d be happy."

TRAVOLTA ‘HEARTBROKEN’ OVER DEATH OF TEENAGE SON

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:39 pm

JOHN TRAVOLTA is "heartbroken" after he tried in vain to save the life of his son JETT by administering emergency mouth-to-mouth resuscitation before paramedics arrived.
The 16-year-old passed away in the Bahamas on Friday (02Jan08) after suffering a seizure at his family’s holiday home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island, according to family attorney Michael Ossi.
The actor rushed to the bathroom at the property and tried to resuscitate Jett after the teenager’s nanny, Jeff Kathrein, discovered him lying on the floor on Friday morning Ossi says, "He didn’t want anything to happen to that boy, and he kept on trying to revive him. He did mouth-to-mouth until they had to physically remove John to take Jett to the hospital. He never dreamed of this - their relationship was so close. He always said ‘I’m happy as long as my kids are happy’. He is heartbroken… To bury your son is the worst thing you can ever do." Jett was the eldest of Travolta’s two children with Kelly Preston. The actor and his wife also have a daughter, Ella Blue, who the actor broke the news to soon after the tragedy, according to family friend Michael McDermott.
He says, "She was unaware of what was going on. John broke the news to Ella.
She is heartbroken. She is in disbelief, but it is starting to sink in. She has been asking where her brother is. She was so close to Jett. The whole family were so close. They went everywhere together.
"No father should have to do something like that. It’s heart-wrenching. If you knew how much he loved that boy… you could just see it, you could feel it. The pain is unimaginable.
"John is distraught. He is trying to understand and reconcile this. He is seeking an explanation so that this makes sense to him. And his loved ones are trying to provide that to him. Yesterday was the worst day of his life. Today is probably equally as bad, and if not, it’s the second worst day of his life.
"John is recognising the outpouring of support he has got from both the U.S.
and the world. He can feel the love and he says it makes him stronger and hopefully it allows him to reconcile." Preston’s mother Linda Carlson tells Usmagazine, "I am devastated. He was the light of our lives," adding to OK! magazine, "He was one of the most special, loving boys. I thank God I had time to spend with him before Christmas." The teenager had a history of seizures and was always accompanied by a nanny.
He had two with him on the Bahamas trip, including Jeff Kathrein.
McDermott adds, "Jeff is still very cut up over what has happened and I have not spoken to him, but everyone has told me Jett was never left alone. When he went to bed, so did Jeff. He was always watched." An autopsy involving two pathologists is scheduled for Monday (05Jan08) in a bid to determine the cause of death. It is still unclear whether Jett fell to the floor as a result of a seizure or if he had a seizure after falling or slipping, according to Ossi.
There was blood on the floor of the bathroom, but "not a tremendous amount." The attorney also dismisses claims that Jett lay undiscovered for hours, insisting the injury occurred "very shortly" before the teen was found on the bathroom floor - a period which McDermott called a "small window of time." He adds, "John and Jett had a very strong relationship. Words cannot explain how close they were. This will take a lot of time. His life will never be the same again. He is in shock. He is emotionally distraught. He is going through many different feelings of disbelief and anger.
"It’s going to take a while for him to feel good again. This is the most traumatic thing that has ever happened to him and he needs to go through a process of healing. John and Kelly are suffering total misery. They were so close to their son. This is hard to accept." Jett’s body is expected to be flown to Ocala, Florida on Tuesday (06Jan08) for burial.

CICCONE: ‘MADONNA REJECTION WAS HARD’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:36 pm

Pop superstar MADONNA’s brother CHRISTOPHER CICCONE has lifted the lid on their turbulent past - and admits her rejection was devastating.
Ciccone, 48, had collaborated with his famed older sister as director on several of her epic world tours. Yet she dropped him in favour of celebrity choreographer Jamie King in 2001, and her marriage to Guy Ritchie in 2000 left Ciccone feeling frozen out.
He has since published his controversial tell-all book, Life With My Sister Madonna - in which he speaks of his ever-decreasing relationship with the star.
He tells British newspaper The Observer, "From the moment I found I wasn’t doing (Madonna’s 2001 tour) Drowned World, to her and Guy’s wedding, everything became a bit of a blur, a dark, fairly negative period of time for me.
"You know, she was my family. I wasn’t close to my other brothers and sisters, I moved out when I was 18 and moved to New York so…she was my family.
"Plus I’d come out of a 10-year relationship straight after (1993’s) the Girlie Show. So losing that, losing her - I was kind of out there for the first time in 15 years by myself,"

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:33 pm

Pint-sized movie star VERNE TROYER was so cut up following the death of co-star HEATH LEDGER, he found it hard to return to the movie set they shared.
Ledger was filming The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus with Troyer prior to his death last year (Jan08).
And after the tiny star learnt of Ledger’s untimely passing, he was wary of commencing filming again.
He says, "Going on set after he died was one of the most difficult things I ever did. I had scenes with him right before he died." And Troyer admits that although co-stars Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell all donated their fee for completing Ledger’s final film role to the late star’s daughter Matilda, he could not spare the cash.
He adds, "If I could have afforded it, I would have (donated) too."

He and Madonna called a truce after Christmas and spent time together with the kids.
"He was surprised at how friendly and natural it felt. I suppose it got him wondering whether they could have handled things differently."
