Rumours JENNIFER LOPEZ and MARC ANTHONY’s marriage is on the rocks refuse to go away - a new report predicts the pair will split shortly after Valentine’s Day (14Feb09).
The singer/actress sparked speculation of a pending divorce after she was photographed without her wedding ring at a film premiere in December (08) weeks after the couple renewed their wedding vows in a secret Las Vegas ceremony in October (08).
And although the couple’s spokesperson recently declared the pair are "doing great" in an official statement, the New York Daily News has reported a split announcement is imminent.
A source tells the publication, "Marc and Jennifer are planning on announcing their divorce right after Marc’s show at Madison Square Garden on February 14.
"Jennifer is planning on joining Marc onstage for a surprise duet. Things haven’t been right for a while now, and they thought it would be a bittersweet farewell… They’re definitely planning a clean break in February." However, a representative for Anthony insists "none of the rumours are true".
Lopez and Anthony, the parents of 10-month-old twins Max and Emme, wed in a private home wedding in June of 2004.

LINDSAY LOHAN’s girlfriend SAMANTHA RONSON has slammed the actress’ father MICHAEL for claiming the DJ has been impersonating his daughter online.
Michael Lohan reacted angrily to a MySpace blog posted by the Mean Girls star last week (begs22Dec08) which detailed her shock at finding out he had allegedly fathered a lovechild during his marriage to her mother.
Lindsay wrote, "I have gone through a lot in my past, and to be completely honest, I am still going through a lot right now. My father just let my family and I know that he had another child after my little sister Aliana, or maybe he had it before Aliana?? Either way, he cheated on my mother and that really sucks." The elder Lohan fired back, admitting he believed there was a "99 per cent chance" the posting was actually written by Ronson.
But the DJ has laughed off the claim, insisting it was indeed written by the actress.
She tells New York gossip column PageSix.com, "Ha! That’s funny, but I don’t ghost-write MySpace blogs.
"Good thing he left that one per cent window open so he wasn’t 100 per cent wrong for once."

Entertainer MARK BALLAS has been forced to temporarily pull out of the American tour of hit U.S. reality show DANCING WITH THE STARS after suffering a groin injury.
The professional dancer, who was crowned the show’s season six winner alongside Olympic gold medallist Kristi Yamaguchi, was injured during a show at Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Saturday night (27Dec08), according to People.com.
Ballas grimaced with pain before apologising to the crowd, telling worried fans he would have to sit the tour out for "a couple of weeks".
However, he thrilled revellers by dancing through the pain, giving a high-energy performance with Yamaguchi and fellow professional dancers Lacey Schwimmer and Derek Hough.
The tour is slated to end on 8 February (09) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Ballas is expected to return to the show’s eight season, which is scheduled to air on American TV in March (09).

Actress ANN SAVAGE has died in her sleep aged 87.
The star, who earned a cult following as a femme fatale in 1945 movie Detour, passed away on Christmas Day (25Dec08) at a nursing home from complications following a series of strokes, according to her manager, Kent Adamson.
Savage’s acting debut came in 1943 crime story One Dangerous Night, and she made more than 30 films in the 1950s.
Her Hollywood career faded in the mid-1950s, but she had a resurrection after starring in Canadian cult filmmaker Guy Maddin’s 2008 movie My Winnipeg.
Savage married three times, and her last husband and long-time manager, Bert D’Armand, passed away in 1969. She has reportedly been buried next to him at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles.

Californian sculptor ROBERT GRAHAM, the husband of Oscar-winning actress ANJELICA HUSTON, has died aged 70.
Graham, whose works were incorporated into civic monuments including the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial in Washington, D.C., passed away on Saturday (27Dec08) at Santa Monica UCLA Medical Centre and Orthopaedic Hospital.
Huston and other family members were at his side.
Graham lived much of his life in California and gained fame for designing a ceremonial gateway for the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to mark the 1984 Olympics.
California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger paid tribute to Graham and praised his contribution to the state.
He says, "Robert was an amazing sculptor who forever shaped the presence of sculpture art throughout California and the world. His work was truly influential and he will forever remain an icon in this state." No further details of Graham’s death were available as WENN went to press.

WOODY ALLEN and his jazz band have thrilled fans in Poland by holding their first ever concert in the country.
The filmmaker played to around 3,000 fans at a gig on Sunday (28Dec08) by playing the clarinet, accompanied by his New Orleans Jazz Band.
During his performance at Warsaw’s Sala Kongresowa concert hall, Allen told the crowd, "We will do our best to entertain you." The 73-year-old’s solo parts, as well as those of other band members, were welcomed with applause and Allen received a standing ovation at the end.
The star rarely performs in large venues or outside New York City, where he lives.

COURTNEY LOVE has confronted animal rights activists head-on - defending her right to wear fur during a foul-mouthed rant on her Internet blog.
The former Hole frontwoman slams leading campaign group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), whose members are running a crusade against celebrities who dress in animal pelts.
And she admits she is a fan of fur products - and doesn’t care if she offends others by wearing them.
The singer writes on her official blog, "Yep, I’m a fur whore. If it’s 100 years old I’m f**king into it. Sorry PETA. I’ve been very, very good for a very, very long time, and this ermine is ancient and tattered and feels like it belonged to a Queen.

Singer/producer DELANEY BRAMLETT has died in hospital at the age of 69 following complications from surgery.
Bramlett, who worked with musicians George Harrison and Eric Clapton, passed away on Saturday (27Dec08) at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The songwriter, who penned classic rock songs including Let it Rain, died after complications from gallbladder surgery, according to his wife Susan.
Bramlett enjoyed a 50-year career in the music business. With his first wife, Bonnie Lynn, he created the Southern blues-rock band Delaney & Bonnie & Friends.
The group opened for Blind Faith, which featured British guitarist Clapton, in 1969.
As well as recording with the band, Bramlett continued to produce for artists such as Etta James and performed with stars including John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin.
Earlier this year (08), Bramlett released his first LP in six years, A New Kind of Blues.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters and a son.

COURTENEY COX insists she’s "lucky" to call her FRIENDS co-star JENNIFER ANISTON a pal - because the pair have helped each other through so many life-changing experiences.
The actress, 44, claims Aniston - godmother to her four-year-old daughter Coco - still visits every week - and insists the pair’s bond has deepened over the years.
She tells British magazine You, "We’ve known each other for nearly 15 years now, we grew up together emotionally. I lost my father, Jen got divorced, and I had a baby.
"We’ve been through huge life changes together. I can still be myself around her. We never judge each other, we support each other, but we’re honest with each other too. I feel lucky to have her."

GOSSIP GIRL star ED WESTWICK was left red-faced after meeting DAVID BECKHAM in a bathroom - because he was too starstruck to speak to the soccer ace.
The British actor, 21, grew up watching Beckham play for U.K. soccer giant Manchester United, and idolised the star throughout his teens.
But when he finally got the chance to meet his hero, Westwick ran the other way.
He tells U.K. magazine Reveal, "I was at this ball in New York that was so grand David Bowie was sitting at the next table and shook hands with George Clooney.
"Then I went to the toilet and there was David Beckham. I couldn’t say anything, I just ran out. A friend tried to persuade me to say, ‘Hello,’ but I couldn’t do it. It was ridiculous.
"But I had a Beckham shirt when I was a kid and he was the one I watched growing up." And despite his best efforts, Westwick admits he still can’t bring himself to approach the sports star.
He adds, "There have been a couple of times now that I’ve been in the same room as him, but I just can’t go up to him. I can’t do it."

EVA LONGORIA PARKER can’t wait to start a family with her sports star husband TONY PARKER - despite constantly having to deny media reports she is pregnant.
The Desperate Housewives star has repeatedly been at the centre of pregnancy rumours after she piled on the pounds for her role in the hit U.S. show.

Mexican model LAURA ZUNIGA has been arrested at a South American checkpoint after police found a huge haul of cash and weapons in a vehicle she was travelling in.
Zuniga, who was recently crowned Miss Sinaloa Hispanic America 2008, was taken into custody in Zapopan, Jalisco on 23 December (08) along with seven men who were allegedly carrying $53,000 (£35,000) in cash, as well as a stash of illegal guns.
The beauty told police she had been kidnapped by her boyfriend, Ángel Orlando García Urquiza, who was also reportedly arrested at the scene.
Zuniga has been stripped of her beauty queen title, as well as a chance to compete for the title of Miss Mexico International 2009.
According to TMZ.com, the model will be kept in police custody for 40 days while prosecutors decide charges.

Professional wrestler-turned-reality-TV star CHYNA was rushed to hospital after allegedly indulging in a dangerous birthday binge drinking session.
The star - real name Joan Marie Laurer - was admitted to a California hospital early Saturday (27Dec08) after paramedics were called to her Burbank home just before 5am.
According to TMZ.com, the star - who publicly battled her addictions on U.S.
reality show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in 2008 - was celebrating her 36th birthday with friends, but the festivities reached a halt when the star’s alcoholic drinks reacted badly with her prescription medication.
She was reportedly found by her pals, passed out with cuts on her arms before being whisked away by medics.
Doctors were reportedly forced to wait for the star’s blood alcohol level to lower before carrying out an assessment.
But Laurer has brushed off the incident. She tells the website, "All I really want right now is a hamburger and fries right now."

Broadway playwright DALE WASSERMAN has died of congestive heart failure, aged 94.
Wasserman, who wrote 1960s Broadway hits One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Man of La Mancha, died on 21 December (08) at his home in Paradise Valley, Arizona.
Man of La Mancha, which opened off-Broadway in 1965, won the Tony Award for best musical two years later, after making its move to the famed New York theatre district.
And 1963 stage hit One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest saw a revival when the beloved show was brought back to Broadway in 2001.
The celebrated writer penned more than 75 scripts for the stage, television and film during his time, including 1958 flick The Vikings, starring Tony Curtis and Kirk Douglas.
His 1955 script Elisha and the Long Knives, one of 30 small screen dramas he worked on, helped television series Matinee Theater win an Emmy Award.
Wasserman is survived by his wife of 24 years, Martha Nelly Wasserman.

Russian cellist VALENTIN BERLINSKY has died, aged 83.
Berlinsky, who served as cellist for the renowned Borodin Quartet for more than 60 years, died on 15 December (08) in Moscow.
The death was announced on the quartet’s website, borodinquartet.com, which gave no cause.
Berlinsky, the longest-serving member of the group, performed until his retirement last year (07). With the other players, he gave performances at the funerals of Stalin and famed composer Sergei Prokofiev.
He is survived by a daughter, concert pianist Ludmila Berlinskaya.

Rappers PUBLIC ENEMY, rockers FRANZ FERDINAND and THE KOOKS, and DJ CARL COX will help residents of the world’s most easterly city welcome 2009 before anyone else on Earth.
Gisborne, New Zealand sits right on the international dateline and is the first city to welcome the sun each day.
And it will be the first place to celebrate the New Year - a full 13 hours before London, 18 hours before New York and 21 before Los Angeles.
The city is the site of the Rhythm & Vines festival which starts on 29 December (08), running through to 1 January (09).
The two British bands kick off the event on Monday (29Dec08) with performances, before Public Enemy takes the stage on 30 December (08).
But Brit DJ Cox will have the honour of performing the first gig anywhere in the world in 2009 - by taking to the turntables 15 minutes after midnight on 1 January (09).

Rockers KINGS OF LEON are relieved to see the end of the festive season - they insist Christmas Day is the most depressing 24 hours of the year.
The moody musicians dread Yuletide every December - but have devised the perfect way to banish their blues.
Bass player Jared Followill tells NME, "(It’s) the most depressing day of the year after you’ve opened your presents." But brother Nathan insists the best solution is "opening up some champagne and watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation".
