LAW & ORDER STAR IN AGENCY CASH COURT CLAIM
LAW & ORDER star S. EPATHA MERKERSON is the subject of a $220,000 (£150,000) lawsuit for allegedly failing to hand over a cut of her earnings on the hit show.
Bosses at The Gersh Agency insist the crime drama’s 15-year veteran broke an agreement to pay them 10 per cent of the $2,229,084 (£1,528,605.50) she has pulled in from the show.
And they have filed a $229,908.40 (£157,095.50) suit in Los Angeles Supreme Court, according to TMZ.com.
Merkerson has also starred on Broadway, and appeared in big screen hits Jersey Girl and Black Snake Moan.
