MAYER HELPS SICK KIDS
JENNIFER ANISTON’s rocker boyfriend JOHN MAYER has helped spread holiday cheer by playing a private concert at a children’s hospital in New York.
The star performed at the 95.5 WPLJ-FM’s 17th Annual Holiday Concert at Blythedale Children’s Hospital in the Big Apple on Monday (22Dec08).
Mayer joined Matchbox Twenty star Rob Thomas onstage for a rendition of Ben E. King’s classic track Stand by Me.
The singer stayed to sign autographs for ill kids at the event, which raised an estimated $250,000 (£171,000) for the hospital.
