JUDGE DREDD RETURNS
Comic book movie JUDGE DREDD is to return for a sequel - 13 years after the futuristic anti-hero was portrayed by SYLVESTER STALLONE.
The rights have been bought up by DNA films, the production company behind several of British director Danny Boyle’s movies, including last year’s (08) Sunshine and 2002’s 28 Days Later.
The news was announced on the official 2000AD website, the comic book on which the film was based, according to Moviehole.net.
Jason Kingsley, CEO and creative director of the comic book franchise, says, "We can’t give away too many details at this point, but we’re looking forward to working with DNA Films to bring Judge Dredd back to the big screen." It is not yet known whether Stallone will reprise the title role.
