JAMELIA SERENADED BY CHOIR OF KILLERS
R&B star JAMELIA was serenaded by a group of killers when she visited her brother in prison.
The British singer was visiting her younger sibling Kairo Beckford, who is serving life for shooting dead a teenager, at Wakefield Prison, in West Yorkshire, England during the jail’s annual open day.
Prisoners are allowed to play games and mingle with friends and family at the event.
And Jamelia was singled out for special treatment when she arrived at the jail, as some of the country’s most hardened criminals serenaded her on the PlayStation karaoke game SingStar, according to British newspaper the Daily Star.
A jail source tells the publication, "All eyes were on Jamelia. Some of the cons then started serenading her on SingStar. It was the choir from hell because all of them were serving life sentences. She just smiled politely. The day itself makes the staff sick to the back teeth.”
