Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:36 pm

MANOEL DE OLIVEIRA, the world’s oldest film maker, shows no sign of slowing down after celebrating his 100th birthday earlier this month (Dec08) - he is planning to release a book of poems.
The revered Portuguese director has made a movie a year since 1990 and recently finished shooting his 46th film in Lisbon.
And he wants to mark his milestone birthday with a limited edition volume of his poems and musings, which will have a run of just 100 copies, and will be titled One Hundred Years, One Hundred Texts.
Oliveira’s publisher Jose Manuel Lello says, "It’s a compilation of texts that Manoel de Oliveira has written in recent years. There are philosophical writings on humanity or science, several poems, and even a story in which he recounts an episode from his childhood."
