MADONNA and her estranged husband GUY RITCHIE plan to spend the festive season together at their English country estate - for the sake of their children.
The couple has been wrangling over custody of son Rocco, eight, adopted David, three, and Madonna’s daughter Lourdes, 12, since their divorce was agreed last month (Nov08).

An insider tells British newspaper The Mail On Sunday, "Madonna and Guy want the best for the kids and so she has decided to come over to the U.K. so they can be with their father. Madonna arrives in England on December 23 and is planning to stay for Christmas.
"Madonna doesn’t really like Ashcombe but she thinks it’s important that they put on a united front for the kids." Director Ritchie has moved out of the family home in central London and is currently living above his London office whilst busy working on latest movie Sherlock Holmes.
Meanwhile the couple’s children have been accompanying their mother across the globe on her Sticky & Sweet world tour.
The source adds, "Guy hasn’t seen the kids for weeks and he is desperate to be with them over the holidays. They have been travelling a lot and he just wants them home."

The actor’s representative Stan Rosenfield tells People.com, "Charlie told me that the girls are fine. He said it could have been much worse. They were in their car seats, and he is extremely grateful for the safety features from Mercedes." No arrests were made in connection with the incident.

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:42 pm

A film director who worked with MACAULAY CULKIN’s sister DAKOTA before her tragic death has paid tribute to the HOME ALONE star’s older sibling remembering her as a "humble" young woman.
The 29-year-old stepped in front of a car in West Los Angeles just before 11pm on Tuesday (09Dec08), according to Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Richard French.

Prior to her death, Culkin was trying to break into film production, and landed a behind-the-cameras role on independent movie Lost Soul.
The film’s director, Dana Schroeder, recalls: "Dakota was very humble. She didn’t want to get in front of the cameras, she wanted to work behind the scenes." A pal of Dakota Culkin tells People.com, "She was very low key, but at the same time proud of her siblings. She was very close to Macaulay. They would talk frequently on the phone or go out to eat.

Aussie pop duo THE VERONICAS have thanked THE JONAS BROTHERS for increasing their profile in the U.S. - but insist they taught the trio everything they know.
Twins Jessica and Lisa Origliasso supported the teen heartthrobs on the latest leg of their hit Burning Up tour in America, and the relative unknowns have seen their track Untouched fly into the U.S. charts.
And the pair are grateful for the invite to perform on the tour, as The Jonas Brothers’ fanbase has been passed onto them.
Lisa tells People.com, "Obviously, their fans are very dedicated and very enthusiastic. So every time we got onstage it was insane. KISS CONFIRM NEW ALBUM

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:39 pm

Glam rockers KISS have shot down rumours the band is retiring, by confirming they will be recording a new album.
Earlier this year (08) it was reported the group was planning a reality TV show to audition replacement bandmembers, because founders Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons were getting too old to rock.
Frontman Stanley has now admitted that rumours about a new album are true, and they are currently back in the studio working on new tunes - and he’s promising a treat for fans of the band’s original 1970s sound.
Stanley tells Askmen.com, "It’s going to be very much a vintage, classic, 70s Kiss album without much regard to what’s happened since then; it’s back to the roots."
