ELTON TREATS MEDICAL STAFF TO CHRISTMAS CONCERT

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:30 pm

SIR ELTON JOHN has given a special Christmas present to medical staff in Britain - the singer has donated a thousand free tickets to one of his concerts.
The Rocket Man gave the tickets to the U.K.’s Nation Health Service (NHS) to thank medics for their hard work over the year.
The tickets were subsequently donated to two hospitals in the West Midlands area and sold off for a small fee to raise money for charity.
University Hospital Birmingham NHS Trust received 450 and raised more than $14,600 (£10,000) for its in-house charity.
A representative for the organisation says, "It is a good gift to the hospital at Christmas. Our staff can go out and enjoy themselves after a year of helping people.”
