COWELL URGES WILLIAMS NOT TO REJOIN TAKE THAT

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:30 pm

Music mogul SIMON COWELL has advised ROBBIE WILLIAMS not to rejoin his former bandmates in TAKE THAT.
The pop star - who quit the group in 1995 - has been dogged by rumours about a possible collaboration with his former colleagues ever since the band reformed in 2006.
And speculation about a possible reunion has rocketed since it was revealed that Williams has been spending time with his former bandmates after healing their rift.
But Cowell is adamant that a reunion would be a risky move for Williams, who enjoyed a hugely successful solo career after leaving the Never Forget hitmakers.
Cowell tells British magazine Heat, "That’s a tricky one. I think I would keep it (Take That) as it is. He (Williams) could do a guest slot now and again. A duet?” And Cowell admits he would be delighted if Williams would agree to appear on his British TV talent show X Factor for the series finale on Saturday (13Dec08) night.
He adds, "I would have loved Robbie to have been there on Saturday night and it’s never too late. He’s still one of the biggest stars in the world. He’s great. I love Robbie."

has handled it the past two terms which is: ‘don’t discuss.’" Caine recalled his own experiences in conflict, as a child during the Second World War and as a soldier during the Korean War. He said (that) "is sort of the reason why I am here."

PEARL JAM TO RE-RELEASE HIT DEBUT ALBUM

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:24 pm

Rockers PEARL JAM are re-releasing their debut album TEN next year (09), 18 years after the band helped pioneer the grunge music scene.
The LP has sold an estimated 10 million copies in the U.S. alone since its release in 1991 and has been certified platinum an astonishing twelve times.
The re-release is the first in a string planned by Pearl Jam in the build up to the band’s 20th anniversary in 2011.
The new Ten comes in four editions, each containing a remastered version of the album and a version remixed by producer Brendan O’Brien.
O’Brien tells Rolling Stone, "The band loved the original mix of Ten, but we’re also interested in what it would sound like if I were to deconstruct and remix it. The original Ten sound is what millions of people bought, dug and loved, so I was hesitant to mess around with that.
"After years of persistent nudging from the band, I was able to wrap my head around the idea of offering it as a companion piece to the original - giving a fresh take on it, a more direct sound."

MORTENSEN STRUGGLES WITH GERMANS AND GERMANY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:24 pm

LORD OF THE RINGS star VIGGO MORTENSEN hated playing a Nazi author in controversial new movie GOOD - because he has never been fond of Germans or Germany.
Many of the actor’s relatives lived in German-occupied Denmark during the second world war, and he has always harboured resentment towards the nation.
He tells WENN, "I’ve heard stories from my aunts and uncles and my dad, I had an attitude about Germans, a prejudice about them.
"I speak several languages and I’m interested in languages. I can read a German paper slowly and can almost figure it out, yet I don’t speak German and I realise I don’t want to speak German. I don’t like the way it sounds and I don’t like being in Germany." But Mortensen, who portrays a German who joins the Nazis to further his career as an author, admits making the film softened his feelings towards the country.
He adds, "By playing a German and trying to be honest about it I sort of got past that prejudice and judgment… Germans are people too!"
