STARS’ PET STORE TO CLOSE
The Los Angeles pet store which is loved by both PARIS HILTON and BRITNEY SPEARS is to close following a puppy farm controversy.
Pet Love has been a fixture in the Beverly Center mall for years, with many stars shopping for their beloved dogs in the store.
But now shop bosses are to move out in January (09), following pressure from animal rights protesters, who wanted the company to sell only pet supplies and animals from shelters.
Officials at welfare and rescue group Best Friends Animal Society claim the pet shop is among those in the city which sell animals born in inhumane puppy mills.
