PITT DEFENDS JOLIE AGAINST ‘MANIPULATIVE’ ARTICLE
BRAD PITT has come to the defence of partner ANGELINA JOLIE after a candid article about the actress labelled her "manipulative".
The New York Times published a one-page report on the mysterious star last month (Nov08), detailing how she has allegedly mastered control of the press without the help of a publicist - cultivating relationships with reporters and even setting up her own photo shoots for the paparazzi.
But Pitt has vehemently denied the claims.
He tells Rolling Stone, "It sounded to me like the story made Angie out to be manipulative in some way. She is savvy.
"I get defensive. (They’re) talking about not only the woman I love, but one of the people on this planet who I have the greatest respect for. I think she’s as honourable as anyone I’ve ever met."
