JACKSON & GEST’S DISNEYLAND RUSE
MICHAEL JACKSON once dressed up as an Arab sheikh to allow him to go unnoticed during a trip to Disneyland with his pal DAVID GEST.
The pop superstar donned a full headdress, with material covering his face, and walked around the Californian theme park posing as a wealthy foreigner, with Gest as his translator.
And Gest admits it was one of the funniest days of his life, as no one realised Jackson’s true identity.
He says, "We once went to Disneyland with Michael dressed as a sheikh with me as his translator. We met an English couple from Croydon and when Michael jabbered away talking gibberish I told them he was saying he was upset because he was divorcing his 99th wife.
"They were completely taken in and said they hoped he would find happiness with his 100th wife. It was hysterical. But they were so sweet, we picked up the tab for their meal."
